Review 1：Not a bad experience, but the last night we were there, bath mat was not replaced, nor was soap. We had things visibly on the bed near window and left drapes closed, only one day was it left closed by staff, which I preferred, why show things to people walking by.

Review 12：A lot of stuff to do outdoors for the kids. They enjoyed staying at the hotel more than walking the strip. Very nice atmosphere, loved the beach setting...next year, we hope to reserve the separate rooms in between the lake and restaurant.
Review 13：Parking is first come/first serve and after an exhaustive day of travel we returned to a full parking lot with no spaces available, never mind the space in front of our room. We were instructed to park on the grass at the end of our building. Fortunately someone else was pulling out at the opposite end of our building when we drove back, so we took that space. Would be nice to number spots in front of rooms if booked to capacity or near capacity and if there is an overflow late night stragglers could park in the grassy lots away from their rooms rather than guests who have prepaid.

Too many 2 list.If cleaned up it could b an nice place.

The snack bar is only open on the weekend. My room had a falty toilet which they didnt take off for. The maid was very impatient when trying to get in to clean.

Review 29：There were people partying all over the property which was fine exceptaround 2:30am we were woken by our neighbors having a physicalaltercation. The police were call the whole 9 yards. When I saidsomething about this to management they were completely unapologetic andtold me it happens all the time. The next night the same group of peoplewere out at it again, and once again management acted like this iscompletely normal and expected. Thank god I didn't have my kids withme for this trip!!

Review 33：The rooms are small and the maintenance of the room wasn't good. The lamp shape was broken and the back was off of the blow dryer in the bathroom so when you used it your would get caught in the back. Wouldn't stay again.

Review 35：I think they need towel racks in bathroom. It is very cramped with everything on counter. They could also use 2 chairs so you don't have to always sit on the bed. I also think charging for use of paddle boats isn't necessary. You don't go out on them long and shouldn't have to pay. The restaurant is very stuffy. We walked out.
Review 36：The location is perfect because you can walk to everything. Clean rooms and good facilities throughout. I think their prices are a bit high for what you receive, but would go back again.
Review 37：I booked me room in October for 3 days 2 nights for $475 with taxes the manager say she going to send me an email I never received any conformation email when I called back in January the prices went up so I ended up paying $565 for 2 night stay .i think I was clearly robbed and that is what makes me very unhappy.i also rented a room for 2 family members n they paid 480$ .i think it was a waste of money paying much with no food .the pool water was very cold when clearly stated heated pool I am very disappointed my kids had no enjoyment.pillowes was very flat look like it was over used.this was the 4 time I'm staying in this hotel my first 3 times was ok .this time it really suck !!not happy at all!!!

Review 39：WiFi did not exist... Management assured that this was internet provider issue, not theirs, but judging from previous reviews this is an ongoing issue.. Fix it! There was no phone in the room upon arrival, maintenance had to figure out how to run lines first as there was no phone jack in the room. They fixed it on the second day, but how do you not know there is no phone in one of the rooms? (we had to tell them)

Review 52：well when we arrived our reservations were amess. they said they never got the booking .com reservation. we had two rooms so my parents ended up staying at a sister resort in walking distance. they did comp us 100 dollars worth of breakfast which was very nice and free kayaks. also did not charge us for a roll away bed which was 10 dollars a night extra ( we had booked 2 ) they were apologetic but next time I would contact them directly or double confirm my reservation before I went. I did love the resort but rooms were small, although I think this was not suppose to be our room . ours was to suppose to accomidate 5 people.
Review 53：I liked most was that the resort offered a wonderful beach, and the best location for walking to everything. nice heated pool super clean and the morgan restraunt had a great breakfast. The staff was very friendly and my kids loved the motel. I loved that I didn't have to drive anywhere. and the trolley drives right by resort!!
Review 54：We loved the lakefront and the heated pool. This place is located right in downtown Lake George and sits right on the lake. Beautiful view of the lake. My boys were in the pool as much as we allowed them to be, they loved it.

Review 83：When we made the reservation it said that we would have a lake view. According to the girl who checked us in a "lake view" means when you leave your room and look down the side of the hotel you can see the lake. The bed was the worse my husband and I have ever slept in. We were both stiff and sore from the mattress. Our room was surrounded by a group of bikers who partied late into the evening. There must have been 35 motorcycles in the parking lot. Would never stay there again.
Review 84：The lighting was poor in the room. One ceiling light which didn't give off much light. The lamp on bedroom table should have been a 3 way light. And there should have been a light on the desk area where the mirror was. Poor lighting when the curtains were drawn.

Review 88：This is a great location. Directly on the beach with plenty of chairs, has a few paddle boats and kayaks. This hotel also has a really nice pool. The room was great. The hotel offered breakfast Friday through Sunday and kids were free. Very short walk to town and plenty of places to eat close by. Will stay here again!

Review 90：The Marine Village Resort was perfect for our weekend vacation. The beach, with chaise lounges, soft sand, swimming and boating options were very enjoyable. The location was perfect too, as we were able to walk to the restaurants, shops and arcades easily. We also were impressed by the breakfast restaurant on the premises and the planned activities: s'mores, ice cream sundaes and fireworks!

Review 93：So we checked in to go to our "pool side" room and when we went to the room, it was in a corner behind a building that had a path to the pool, no view whatsoever. When we went to the front desk to ask to be moved the snyde remarks by the front desk made my husband and I other than happy. The manager offered to refund our stay so we took it. Their reason for giving us this poorly sighted "poolside" room was that we booked through booking.com and not directly through the resort. We will not stay here in the future. Beware of rooms 90 and 91.
Review 94：Rooms were a little smaller than we typically prefer, but space was adequate. Otherwise, everything was better than expected.
Review 95：Location, comfort of bed, quiet rooms. Although there is plenty happening outside of the rooms, you do not hear anything when inside the room.

Idid not get the room I paid for, and was told that room was neveravailable. Marine Village did everything they could to accommodate us,but it was a lesson learned. Review 110：To begin, the lock to our room was broke it had to be fixed. The key would not work. We have small children and our room was firstly in the back where we couldn't even see the pool or lake , and being it was the 2nd floor, we had to walk up those steps with small children. It was dangerous, not to mention the wobbly rails . My daughter fell coming down the stairs, thank goodness it was on the last step. Last, being on the 2nd floor , and with small children that move around alot, we were called twice, two days in a row about noise being made . It's not our fault the floors are old and you can hear any type of movement. We had to literally tip toe to the bathroom so we wouldn't get another front desk call. It was very unpleasant . In all our trips anywhere, we never had this experience. We use to love staying here but this year was not good at all,sorry..
