Review 1：The extra pillows in the bedroom closet were stained, but we did not need them, so it was not a big deal. The bedroom carpet looked dirty as well.

Review 2：The staff we encountered while checking in and checking out were wonderful and friendly, the room was comfortable, and the location could not have been better.

Review 3：The decor was very old and outdated. There were some small bugs around the kitchen. The beds were not very comfortable. The gym was located in the tennis pro shop so they closed at 5 p.m and broke for lunch between 12 - 1. So you can only go during the times they were open and tennis was by reservation.

Review 4：I liked that the unit had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with a kitchen, was on the beach and had tennis courts. It also had two pools, one was huge and on the beach.

Review 5：Needed more towels but there was an extra charge for that. On the internet it said 13 miles from paris island and with a ruler that was true, but it took 55 min. By car! Despite that the facilities and the staff were top notch!!!

This place is a mixture of private owned condos but hotel maintenance when it came to linens, towels, etc. Was nice not to have to bring these items along I would recommend staying in the "B" building if you want to be close to pool, beach, etc.

Review 13：The Villa we rented smelled very musty. We did not unpack our clothes to try and keep them from smelling like the villa. It appeared to not have been updated since it was built. It had old cheap pressed board furniture. Walls needed painting. The main bedroom had a window located on the hallway side which was lighted 24/7. Blinds over the window did not block out the light to provide restful sleep. I would have much rather stayed in a motel that was clean and updated. We will never make this mistake again. These villas should be a cheaper price if they are not going to be updated and clean.

Review 15：The bed was very uncomfortable and the water pressure in the shower was awful. The sliding glass doors had a privacy film, so had to have door open to see outside. The air conditioning was not working well, had to have thermostat set at 66 to have unit temperature at 74.

And analyze the amount charged for the night, we paid approximately $ 200/night and we could have stayed at an hotel with much better organization and cleanliness for the same price. The place is very expensive for what it offers.Not a resort in any way, but you will pay the resort fee which in my opinion is dishonest with the customers. My husband and I live in Florida and always traveled to others states/countries and have stayed in many hotels Resort style and this place has nothing to do with a resort. You can't find any kind of resort service, it is a rental apartment in a condo. No services are offered, no goods restaurants inside the place either, no spa services at all, no umbrella and beach chairs on the beach offer from the "resort", no daily cleaning service, no shampoo and condition, you will pay the resort fee for a parking lot.As we enter in the apartment, which is a studio one bedroom apartment we liked the decor, but the bathroom was with pee smell and we found a dead cockroach in the living room then we went to the balcony and it was full of spider web and insects, the lamp, was so dirty make the balcony dark. They sent a staff to clean, but she only clean the spider webs and the lamp still dirty and the apartment wasn't cleaned again at all.The first night around 10:30, I was on the balcony and saw a raccoon inside the trash can that is on the front steps of the unit, where the guests access the apartments. The trash was not taken by the condominium that day. In our reservation I selected view of the resort and what we had was the view of the parking lot. The apartment does not offer anything other than soap, so if you flight to the island make sure you bring with your shampoo and condition, beach umbrella, beach chairs and beach towels that are not offered by the place.Wi fi only works in the living room.

Review 45：This is not a "bad" experience, but it is an observation to note. Each condo appears to be independently owned. So some are old and some have been renovated - it just depends on the owner. So you don't know what type of room you will end up with. The location more than makes up for it though.

Review 46：Location, location, location. Can't beat it. The pool was humungous, it was impossible for the little kids to dominate it. The pool side eatery had good fare. The bar inside the main facility was fun every night. The front desk staff solved every issue I had...quickly. There are a ton of tennis courts if you want to do that. You can rent bikes to, which I highly recommend you do.

Review 47：Beds horrible !!!!!! Mattresses terrible!!!! There were no shades where you sleep. Light from hall lights up the place like it's daytime - kids bunk bed mattresses were sooooo old!!!!! We used the pull out sheets from the couch bed and cover from bunk bed! The sink in bathroom got clogged and it took four hours to get it fixed, we have to cancel our dinner reservations because we waited four hour for a bathroom sink.

Review 55：I can only speak to the unit our family occupied, but frankly it was absolutely disgusting! Everything was filthy! Roaches crawling across the floor, blinds broken and fuzzy with dust, stained linens, back door would not lock, no beachtowels, Cobwebs in corners, residue from AC vents on walls, broken shower, the list goes on… to top it all off, they charge a $40 cleaning fee. Paid for three nights and checked out after one! Staff was extremely unfriendly when reporting concerns, and we were nice, probably nicer than we should have been. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this location and will never return.

Review 56：The location of the resort was stated to be beachfront, and there are some rooms that are beachfront although quite a hike. It was however on Hilton head Island as disclosed.

The refrigerator did not cool, the bathroom was not flushing upon arrival. Front desk was't helpful trying to resolve bathroom issue. We're told maintenance team has gone for the day and could not help us. Send a maintenance person after demanding and did not arrive until after midnight. Balcony light did not work. Upon arrival found ashtray full of cigaret butts. We asked a fresh towels after our second night, were told to pay extra $17.00 for fresh towels. Would never stay or recommend to family/friends!

Review 74：This is not a "resort"!!!!!!!!!! I have absolutely nothingeven remotely good to say about this property. I am not sure how theyconsider themselves a resort, as a resort is typically friendly,relaxing, clean and accommodating to its guests. This property and our"villa" were by far the worst accommodations I have everstayed in. No one we spoke to in a customer service position on theresort was friendly or welcoming. The manager of the sports bar,Coconutz, was very rude to our server for talking to us, and then veryrude to us regarding our server. More importantly, to say our room wasdirty would be a huge understatement. I think a Motel 6 would havebeen nicer. The room and everything in it had a musty smell and thebath tub was stained and just looked grimy. Our biggest complainthowever, would be finding four dead cockroaches in our room after wemoved our suitcases around. Four cockroaches. We were given 4 bathtowels for 4 girls on a 4 day stay. When we inquired about gettingclean towels, we were told there is a $25 charge. We ran out of toiletpaper on the second day and had to get some from the lobby restroom.There was no kitchen/living area trash can, we had to tie trashbags to the oven handle. The only trash can we had was a tiny one inthe bathroom. The water pressure and shower head in the bathroom werepathetic, at best. I would guess the shower head was installed in 1985and has never been changed. The patio furniture was falling apart. Youwere not allowed to hang beach towels over the balcony to dry, but thehooks installed on the patio walls were barely hanging on, making italmost impossible to hang towels to dry. The ceiling fan in the livingroom was shaking so hard, we were afraid it was going to fall off theceiling, so we couldn’t use it. The remote to the tv had corrodedbatteries, so it did not work. The remote to the dvd player did noteven have batteries in it.

Review 80：We stayed in an oceanfront room building A room 323. It was totally outdated, smelly and dirty. The pillows for the couch had gross stains all over them and several of the bed pillows did too. The toilet seat at the rest stops along 95 were cleaner and the shower and tile floor in the bathroom seemed to be moldy. We ran to Walmart an got cleaning supplies and cleaned the room before I'd let my kids even go in the bathroom. The medicine cabinet was rusted and moldy as well so I loved out of my suitcase for the week.

My parents travelled with us and were comfortable as well. We definitely had a well maintained condo and was perfect for us and our visit to the beach.

Review 89：We really enjoyed our stay. The resort and room were clean. My only recommendation would be to install ceiling fans in your hallways. They are quite long and get very hot. We had my elderly parents over for the day and while I was glad there was an elevator for their use, it's location was far from our unit so we had a pretty long walk (for 80 year olds) down a hot hallway. Otherwise, we loved it and would definitely rent again. In fact, we talked about looking into buying a condo at the resort!

Review 105：Let me start out with the fact that we have been bringing our family to this resort off and on for the past 15 years, however this time was a disaster from the time of arrival to the time of check out. We booked a 3 night stay and were guaranteed an Ocean View Room. Upon arrival and checkin we were put in Villa # A1141 which has absolutely no view of the Ocean, (not even an obstructed view) Just the parking lot. So we called to let the front office to let them know, which we were in turn told "Sorry, but there were no ocean view rooms available". After being put on hold the girl came back on and said that we would be credited $20 per night for the error. (Upon checkout, we were only credited with one night). When we entered the bedroom, we found the Comforter to be dirty and stained in many areas. We called to report this and were told that someone would deliver a new one. Just a few minutes later, we received a call from the Housekeeping service to say that they would be by the next morning to pick the dirty one up and deliver a clean one. Called back the front office as we would need one for that night, and they did at least deliver an old but clean bedspread. The "Service" didn't come by until the afternoon of the 2nd day to pick up the dirty comforter, but did not supply a new one. Seems that there just isn't the same customer attention that there used to be. Upon checkout, (11:00 AM) we were challenged with check out time and threatened to be charged with a $50 fee of which we disputed due to the fact that we never received any documentation with the actual check out time and that there was nothing posted in the unit. The attitude that we received both on the phone and in person from the two women working the front office desk on June 21st was absolutely unpleasant and completely disrespectful to say the least.

Since we were in the bottom floor there was no view of the ocean/beach but after talking to other neighbors it seems like they didn't have a view on the 3rd floor either. My biggest complaint was my noisey neighbors!! Each morning of our 6 night stay they were up and children were running around by 6:30.

Review 109：We loved the location of the resort and especially our unit!! A quick an easy walk for lugging tons of stuff out onto the beach! A huge pool with an adjacent bar and a snow cone/ice cream hut for the kiddos as well!

Review 119：The pictures online are misleading. First, customer service was nothelpful. We called and asked for help concerning our dvd player and wereceived no help. We rented movies to watch and couldn't watch themunless we went to a store to buy the right cord to connect the dvdplayer to the tv. Customer service answer to every question is ....sorrythe units are individually owned. Why have customer service if theycan't help you or don't want too? When we checked out, they didnot even ask us how our stay was. They just took the key. As far as theroom is concerned, it had several issues. It was clean but it had anodor. We had to go by an air freshener. The furniture was very outdated.It reminded me of the 80'S. The sofa bed was not comfortable,especially the springs in your back. The stove was scary looking. Someof the chairs had rips. The sliding glass door wouldn't lock, youhave to use a bar bracing the door shut! This place needs some serioustlc and a remodel! Maybe some of the rooms are ok but the resort needsto check up on these units. It's 2015, get a $200 flat screen tvthat supports hdmi!!!!!!

Critters - mice or some other sort..couldn't see them but they sure could make a ruckus at night. The pull out bed is extremely uncomfortable. The bedroom was so small that you had to go side ways to get into the bed.

So- no maid service,no newlinen each day, pool has lounge chairs, but no towels etc. you are onyour own. You have to schlep everything back and forth to beach, etc.your unit is a major crapshoot regarding updating. We rented 3. 2 werenicely updated. Ours-C240 was horrible. No updates since 1972. Therugs,appliances, decor all dirty and dated. I'm hoping by publishingthe room number, the owners will be humiliated into spending a fewhundred dollars for updates. I've also informed management they haveno business renting it until updates are done and basically money isbeing stolen from unsuspecting people. The entire complex is old andworn. The "ocean view" we paid for a joke. From 2 units, asliver of gray ocean on the horizon. One unit had none whatsoever.Management claimed it was deemed to have a view by the realty companyand "there's nothing I can do about it." That's calledfalse advertising. Come here if you plan on spending no time in the roomfor a view and no amenities. Again , total crapshoot regarding whetheryour unit has 21st century updating.

Review 139：Beach front balcony was over 100 yards from the actual beach with a lot of sea grass, trees and dunes in the way. Could only see ocean in the distance, between the dunes. Bedroom had NO windows. Couldn't tell if it was day or night when in the bedroom. The "bunk beds" only work for very small children. My two 17 year old girls were very cramped in them. Verizon phones did not work in room, had to go on balcony for minimal signal. Wireless internet was very spotty, slow and inconsistent. Only 4 glasses in the kitchen. NO ICE in the freezer at all, had to go buy!!

Review 140：View acceptable, Great central location on island. Quiet. Kitchen came in handy. comfortable furniture in living room.

Review 141：Two things: The floors in our unit were filthy, and, the drapes in the bedroom were not heavy enough to keep the room dark. The lights in the outside hallway stay on all night. So it was like daytime in the bedroom while trying to sleep.
