Reviews for Villa Nalinnadda

Review 1:hotel: very noisly - road just in 5-7 meters from the door and it punch you head room: very old staff and facilities rest: no privacy (room covered by windows and it seems transperent from any point of view And very - very expencive for this place

Review 2:owner is very kind

Review 3:The only thing we found was our room was quite noisy as it backed into a main road with traffic which at night we found quite noisy. However the views from the room did make up for this.

Review 4:The staff were extremely friendly especially the lady's in the day spa. We felt extremely welcomed.Rooms had a beautiful view and breakfast was excellent an added bonus been delivered to your room at your requested time.we would defnitly come again.

Review 5:We stayed for two nights over the Christmas period and from start to finish, the owner and staff couldn't have done more to aid us during our stay. We arrived before our room was ready but were both given towels so we could enjoy the pool, amazing views out over the sea! We were wished a Merry Christmas with chocolate Santa lollies on Christmas Eve and were given complimentary ice cream on Christmas Day as well as a tasty welcome drink, all very thoughtful touches! Breakfast in bed was awesome with a great selection of food and beverages and the massage was perfectly relaxing. Our bungalow was secluded from the main house which was great, comfortable bed and such soft towels! The owner also rang through to the ferry company to confirm our pick up which was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just wish it could have been longer!

Review 6:Really enjoyed my stay at Villa Nalinnadda. I was upgraded to a sea view room which was great and had stunning views. A lovely breakfast was served in the room each morning and loved the complimentary spa treatments for each day of my stay. Staff were really helpful with arranging tours and transport.

Review 7:Location was abit far out, 500bh taxi in to town. (

Review 8:The staff especially the manager was very friendly and helpful with information and booking activites for us. Welcome drink on arrival which was lovely. Stunning views. Brilliant breakfast great choice of food. Great pool. Nice quiet romantic place to stay. Lovely spa bath too.

Review 9:This is a hard 1, everything looked a little tired from the bedding, towels too the balcony , decking around the spa bath and the walk up the stairs to the room. The view out to sea was spectacular but just below our balcony wasn't. Our stay was lovely but this was the 3rd hotel booked on koh samui and it looked the best hence why it was our last booking, the other 2 were great building up to this 1 but it just missed the mark.

Review 10:The view out to see ,the hot tub spa bath the breakfast in bed and noodle bar with the ribs

Review 11:The staff were wonderful and it was right on the beach with beautiful facilities. You got free spa treatments which were amazing and breakfast in bed. Wonderful stay

Review 12:Could not sleep the whole night due to the noise from the main road and from air-cond. The small stones decorated on the floor of the shower room are not hygienic. The design of the room is not practical. Had to leave hair dryer on the floor, food tray on the wash basin and toilet kits in the bathtub (or Jacuzzi).

Review 13:Sea view.

Review 14:The position is not so good. You need to call a taxi or rent a bike to go anywhere. The beach near the hotel is not beautiful and the water is too shallow to have a bath.

Review 15:The staff is very kind and helpful . They do all to feel you like a queen. The breakfast in the room is so cool and also the daily spa. The restaurant is very good and the dishes are very different from the others I tried in thailand. You had the room with iacuzzi on the terrace... wonderful

Review 16:Place is potentially not suited for people seeking night life thrills though the happening Lamai beach is very short ride away.

Review 17:This place was exactly what we needed, a pampering retreat away from the regular hussle bussle of Koh Samui and we got just that. Our room was right up front with glass walls on three side which allowed for a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean. The room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Balcony was spacious. Bathroom was big with excessive amnesties to ensure you don't run out of anything. The swimming pool was big and had an amazing view of the ocean. I spent couple of hours at the end of the pool, floating and staring at the ocean. The staff was really helpful and supportive. Tom offered all the help we needed. We were also able to rent a bike in no time. The breakfast is insistently served in bed which was the best part of our stay. The food tasted great and was in abundance. The spa sessions included with the stay covered all basis for excessive pampering.

Review 18:Hotel is just located close to the main road and some rooms could be a little bit too noisy

Review 19:Perfect retreat with great ocean view from the rooms and the pool. Nice with breakfast in the room/ terrace

Review 20:They just do not offer much on the breakfast list for us to choose.

Review 21:I love everything about this place and we had a great time over here as the staffs were really polite and helpful.

Review 22:The main downpoints are the rooms are abit dated and its noisy if you stay near the road. Other then that the beach is like a big swimming without waves because of the wave breaker off shore, no problem for me but some people might not like it.

Review 23:Overall a good hotel, the staff very helpful and breakfast is great.

Review 24:The road noise, there's some noisy bikes but nothing too serious... We also had ants in the bathroom but nothing major for us as we used insecticide. We didn't use the beach in front of the swimming pool as it is a bit rocky but you can go around to other close by beaches.

Review 25:The outdoor Jacuzzi was amazing with beach view! Everyday we had our room cleaned and breakfast in bed. The staff was extremely friendly and the spa massage was dreamy! Everything was absolutely gorgeous! We would definitely recommend it for couples on honey moon. Perfect place to relax. The noodle signature soup was really really good! Its a must try! Enjoy!

Review 26:Only thing was location, pricy ride to get to any of the northern towns/beaches. Best to hire a car or motorbike. And if I had to be picky the restaurant could be a little less pricy and the place could do with some touch ups, eg pool deck needs attention, polish floorboards in rooms, new linon (getting a bit old) and fill the pebbles in bathrooms? But seriously this place is beautiful! Loved it.

Review 27:The moment I walked into the place I knew I was going to love it. Greeted by smiley staff, beautiful views and decor. I requested a particular room, and it was gorgeous! So amazing to be so close to the ocean. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Brekky was delicious. And the daily free spa was so lovely, perfect touch. Oh and the noodle place outside was amazing!

Review 28:there was not one thing about Villa Nalinnadda that i did not like! the location is perfect, the facilities are excellent and the staff are truly amazing and welcoming!! made for one of the best holidays we have ever had!!

Review 29:Location; a long way from anywhere. Food; apart from an OK breakfast there was no food available, a problem when you're in the middle of nowhere. Design; 'quirky' layout of the rooms, could grate after a while. Never found the switch for the fan ! The external floors throughout the resort were raw/rough concrete as though unfinished. The steps down to the (rather rough) beach were non-existent.

Review 30:Bright and Airy rooms.

Review 31:Everything was excellent!

Review 32:- noises during midnight

Review 33:- friendly staff who willing to help. - nice sea view. - great food

Review 34:Everything was amazing..to wake up to such an amazing view and enjoying bathtub while watcing the ocean is priceless

Review 35:Everything- The vibe in the place is just great!

Review 36:Great place with fantastic owner and staff. I have never been better treated, regardless of stars or pricerange. Highly reccomended.

Review 37:If you're really afraid of bugs, be warned! At night, when the lights are on, the bugs come out. Don't worry - they're harmless! It didn't' bother me much because we made sure to shut our windows and doors at night. Also, the staff is extremely diligent at maintaining the premises so it's always extremely clean.

Review 38:Upon first entering Villa Nalinnadda, I was immediately greeted by the owner and several of her staff. Instantly, I felt welcomed and warm. They then showed us to our rooms and brought delicious lychee welcome drinks for my friends and me.Just the welcome alone was an indicator of how the rest of my stay was going to be. The staff was attentive, warm, friendly, always willing to help, and I felt like I was staying in a beautiful, luxurious home rather than a cold, heartless corporate resort.Villa Nalinnadda itself is GORGEOUS. Absolutely breathtaking. Situated right on the beach, everything is stunning and kept perfectly clean. My room was the beachfront property, floor to ceiling windows on three sides provided for amazing sunrise views every morning. The food here is also amazing! It's quite humble and unassuming, but the chef here is spectacular. I ordered a delicious fried seabass and it was perfect. The chef also sets up a lunchtime food truck area that serves amazinggggg noodles! So good. The hotel also can arrange everything for you, from rental cars, to boat excursions, to dinner reservations. It's extremely convenient and easy! And they're extremely willing to help out.I loved the location of Villa Nalinnadda too because the beach (Hua Thanin) is extremely secluded. There isn't anyone on the beach other than you, so it's peaceful and relaxing. The beach itself probably isn't the best to go lay on but the pool is practically on the beach, so why go anywhere else? They also have sand up on their deck so as to simulate a beautiful beach. The best part though, I think (although I'm not sure if there's a best part), you can choose to have breakfast served daily to your room as well as a daily spa session. The breakfast selection is wide and the spa sessions are GREAT.Okay I lied - the best part is the staff. They were so accommodating and always made sure my friends and I were happy.

Review 39:the first night they put is not in the room i have booked, and it was not possible to talk with the reception lady ,she was reacting very dominant and we didnt had chance to change the room...next day we changed the rooms and the difference was big!! disapointed

Review 40:great for relax!

Review 41:Quite noisy being right on very busy road No cafés or bars or restaurants near so it was necessary to take taxis Beach disappointing for swimming No coffee or tea facilities in room

Review 42:Rooms overlooking the sea Lovely infinity swimming pool

Review 43:Geckos everywhere, dead insects under the bed, no telephone in room, no trash can and luggage rack in living room. Jacuzzi tub was not deep cleaned. Purse snatching attempt outside hotel while walking to nearby restaurant on foot.

Review 44:Breakfast in room. On last night stay they setup rose petals and candles as turndown amenity. Banana pancakes, pineapple juice.

Review 45:The only complain was that there was a lack of sunbeds. At our firstweek 0! and after our complain, 4. 4 beds is not enough for 8appartments for 2 people. The reason was that the old beds wherebroken down, so I hope they will get new soon. If they will, we willcome back once!

Review 46:It was a very fine stay at Villa Nalinnadda. The staff where really kindand they did everything to enjoy our holiday. We had the biggest room with the jacuzzi and shower outside. That was a great room!

Review 47:Excellent food and ambience. Attention to detail. Really friendly staff.
