Hotel Royal Dunes sells fast on our site. The Royal Dunes of Hilton Head Island is a 5 minute walk from the shores of the beach. Each villa has a full kitchen and an outdoor pool is on site.
A private patio is featured in the all villas of the Royal Dunes and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player is also featured. All units feature a living area with a sofa bed.
Guests will have access to an outdoor hot tub and barbecue facilities at these Hilton Head villas. Free parking is available on site and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
These villas are 4 miles from the Golden Bear Golf Course and less than a 10 minute drive from the Mall at Shelter Cove. Port Royal Plaza is 1.5 miles away.

Review 1：Being on the 3rd floor. Would have rather been on the 2nd floor.

Review 11：The fact of finding scarey insects(cockroaches) inside the bed rooms is not acceptable especially for a high rated resort, plus the poor WiFi and the dirty swimming pool. I have stayed before at Coral Sands resort at Hilton Head Island and have enjoyed every thing there.

Review 13：Dining room table was terribly wobbly; notified facility about problem first day but was not fixed during our stay. Dishwasher door broken; not fixed during out stay. Otherwise very nice week.
Review 14：The beds were hard though covered with a mattress topper. The Ac compressor is located right beside the balcony creating loud noise when it cut on.
Review 15：Two mature adult couples occupied the 2 king rooms in our spacious unit. The decor was appealing, furnishings were fresh and the balcony was of sufficient size for us all to enjoy sitting out over the quiet tree filled area. We found the walk to the beach to be very manageable and also enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing poolside after a day of outings. Very good location to excellent restaurants.
Review 16：The condo was beautifully redone. The beds were very comfortable - the kitchen large and nicely remodeled. We loved the view of the golf course. Quiet location, but just a very short walk to the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Review 17：Parking underground building 4 was very tight if you didn't get the handicapped spots. Just had to be careful! Light bulbs in lamps are very low wattage and there are not overhead lights in the bedrooms.
Review 18：Very quiet and very clean. The bathrooms are spacious and accommodate two people easily. Staff graciously fulfilled request to be near elevator and to check out one hour later than regularly scheduled.

Review 20：We were looking for a place to stay where our nephew could kick back after beeing released by the US Marines after 13 weeks of vigorous training before our return back to Pennsylvania. The Royal Dunes gave us that . After a day of driving 14 hours to get there and driving back from Parris Island daily , a stroll on the beach was only a 5 minute walk away . Stores and shops were all within a few miles from the resort as well. The Staff at the resort were very helpful and answered all our questions. Any problems were handled in a timely manner. Dinning was close and very resonably priced .The cost of our stay during the off season was very affordable , and within our budget .Thank you Royal Dunes for making our stay a very memorable one. The pool and hot tubs were also very clean and heated..
Review 21：The sofa bed was not comfortable at all. We weren't able to put our two teenagers on it after the first night (and they sleep anywhere!) We had to make a pallet on the floor
Review 22：The convenience to the beach was top notch. The staff was all very friendly and helpful - security helped us with trying to find vinegar after my daughter was stung by a jellyfish. The apartment was very well stocked.

Review 24：Superb condo. Beautifully-decorated, spacious and pristinely clean. I could not have been happier with it. We were in Building 4 which is set away from the others. I think this particular location suited our party very well indeed. We enjoyed choosing provisions in the nearby Kroger and then returning to the condo to enjoy our simple meals. Our balcony looked onto a wooded area so it was extremely peaceful, just squirrels and birds for company :)

Review 55：It is about a 5 minute walk to the ocean but they do have a shuttle that runs you back and forth, so they have accommodated. They only run the shuttle until 5pm so we decided to park down by the beach in a metered spot. It would be nice to extend the shuttle hours or the hotel get some guest parking by the beach.

Review 60：I got it only a few days before. I have stayed many weeks over the past few years at the Marriott destination clubs and have enjoyed every one. so I was a little nervous about this experience. It exceeded expectations I had. The beds were comfortable and the unit was clean.

Review 62：The website for this villa was a bit confusing with the information such as: number of beds in each room and the free shuttle and beach towels.We are used to staying ocean front in Myrtle Beach with similar pricing, so that was a surprise .{ We were here for a wedding so we weren't familiar with the rates. } We took cabs to the wedding festivities so that became pricey as well. This villa seems to be far from restaurants and activities. The only thing that was a problem with the villa itself was the washing machine was broken and our beach towels never went through the spin cycle and I had a time getting them dry before our early departure the next morning. Something wrong with the dryer hose as well.
Review 63：The photos on the website were accurate! We stayed in beautifully decorated villa 213. This villa was very roomy with the 2 master suites with king sized beds and master baths. The 3rd bedroom had 2 single beds and the main bathroom was across the hall. The pull out sofa in the living room was an extra perk for an additional person. The villa was very clean and I am a clean freak! However, the doors throughout could use a wiping down...The staff was very accommodating also! The pool area is very family friendly with ample tables and chairs and chaise lounge chairs. Pool towels are available as is a grill at NO rental fee. There is also a free shuttle to the beach which is about a 2 block walk. Our villa had a great view off of the roomy and quiet balcony which had 4 chairs and a table. You could actually see the alligators in the marsh below. It was really a GREAT place to stay... very quiet ! This is one of the ONLY places that can be rented for a weekend!!
