Review 1：I'm not sure what they used to clean the carpets, but it set off my allergies the whole stay. if you are sensitive to cleaning products I suggest calling ahead of time and see what they can do.

Review 15：This is my second stay here and this time I had a Lakeside View and it was AWESOME! To get up in the morning and make MAXWELL HOUSE coffee in the room and then go outside and sit right at lakeside of Lake George. And then after being out all day, coming back and getting into the Jacuzzi was so relaxing. Sitting outside in the evening sipping hot chocolate or sparking cider was just as pleasurable as in the morning drinking coffee. Can't wait to go back

Review 17：I didn't like that I had to pay for 2 nights to book a room for onenight. It was a busy weekend aNd we wAntes a thursday to friday. We got2 rooms for one night. It would of been nice if they charged us for onenight or both rooms for the 2 night stay.

Review 19：The rooms are absolutely disgusting. When we first checked in the front desk said our room was ready, however it looked like it was never cleaned. There was a lot hair on the bathroom floor, dried tooth paste on the frame of the mirror, previous guests opened shampoo on the tub, half empty toilet paper, and hair and a blood stain on the bed sheets! I complained to the front desk and they said they would fix the problem. The next day was a total disappointment because the floors looked even dirtier. Furthermore, the tub filled up past my ankles when showering because it would not drain. The room was nothing like the pictures on the website. The food at the cabana bar was poor. I ordered chicken tenders for my 2 year old son and half way into eating it, the thick part was raw! Needless to say, he had diarrhea for two days straight. Not to mention it was frozen patties, not real chicken breast and they charge a lot for it. Do not recommend at all!!!!

Review 23：Newly "refurbished" room just had the bare essentials, mattresses were terrible, door would not close properly. We had breakfast at Giovanni's restaurant and were shocked to find that the table covers seemed to come from old shower curtains. Very classy indeed! The potatoes at breakfast were tasteless. Needless to say we never went back.

Review 25：I found the staff scattered and rude. The bartender acted annoyed when I ordered beverages and inquired about ordering food. We were told we could check in at 1PM so we left our campsite early to check in and then we were not able to check in until 3. The room did not appear very clean upon arrival. There were cheerios on the floor and we did not have hand-towels, soap or shampoo - when requested they were promptly delivered but it should have been ready before we arrived. The food was very overpriced. I have stayed other places in the area that were nicer and less expensive.

Review 26：We loved the pool, although we requested a room close to the pool and our room was as far away as possible. FYI - you are not permitted to bring your own drinks or food on the pool or patio. Although there is a cabana bar with food, there were really not too many kid-friendly options so we were back and forth to the room all day, which was annoying. The location is great - central to many stores and restaurants - easy walk to the village.

Review 27：That they didn't have a crib . They only had pack and play for our 15 month old to sleep in. This was never communicated to us prior to checking in.

Review 28：Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the location was only a 5 minute walk to the village. Overall we had a great time and I would come back.

Review 34：The motel was clean and had a nice pool, beach area was small. Great location!

Review 35：Staff did not give much info on resort upon check in. The facility was very basic, nothing exciting. We did not like the fact that we had to pay for kayak and paddle boats, while nearby resorts were complimentary.

Review 37：The beds were as hard as a rock and our room never got cleaned. They made the beds but never emptied the garbage and we ran out of toilet paper. Our room was right by the ice machine which seemed nice until we had to listen to it all night long. The rooms were very noisy. We complained about the house keeping issues and the staff did compensate us with free breakfast & drinks which was really nice.

Review 41：The killer was that the pool was underheated, and only open from 10-10. Tome it was unpleasantly cold, and that's what we were there for. In this climate, a warm pool would be a huge draw. I think they either skimped because it costs $$ to heat or they believe that some people would balk at warmer water. I personally have never ever seen a person say they weren't going in because it was too warm.

Review 43：It would be great if there was a towel bar in the bathroom to keep the towels on so they were in easy reach. The restaurant and pool area could use a facelift. The furniture was a little worn.

Review 45：The Resort restaurant was over priced. There is only one place to eat outside of your hotel room, the gazebo, if you ordered food out or brought in food. You were strictly prohibited from eating outside food on the deck overlooking the lake. There were no facilities to BBQ or picnic. The stairs to second floor rooms are very steep and likely not up to code.

Review 46：Toilet was the biggest problem. Tiles were broke underneath and toilet rocked as you sat on it. Also the seat was barely held on by double sided tape

Review 62：I was traveling with my sister and her family. Her two teenage sons had to be at a college interview in the morning and checked out ahead of us. They left a tie in the room. Both rooms were in my name. I asked to have someone help me access the room to retrieve the tie, but the two women at the desk were extremely unhelpful. They refused to make the extra effort to help me access the room. They said I would have to wait until housekeeping could get around to it.

Review 63：The hotel was pretty nice. Room was spacious and clean. Most of the staff was nice.

Review 64：The room did not match the pictures on the website. Our room must have had a leak at one time because the was a huge stain on the ceiling. The outlets were in weird places. To plug in the coffee pot you had to plug it in by stretching the cord across the sink and the other one in the bathroom was near the toilet on the other side of the room. Hard to do your hair, plus the outlet was not grounded. The bed was very firm, and they need to fix the toilet seat. Great to have kayaks available but not at $20 an hour.

Review 65：The pool was great, just wish it opened earlier and had lights in the pool at night. The rooms were clean, liked having a coffee maker, a fridge, a microwave, a hair dryer, an iron, and a flat screen tv with cable. Loved the fact that it is in walking distance to the village.

Review 66：The restaurant's only positive note is location. The wait staff barely speak or understand English. The menu was quite over priced.

Review 77：I took my daughters and one of their friends to a concert in Saratoga and didn't end up getting to the hotel until after midnight. When I walked in I was greeted by name by the nicest man. And there was still great coffee in the lobby. The towels on the bed were folded into swans and the toilet paper had a bow folded into it - like a cruise ship - the girls loved it! Two story outside access that was redone recently and nicely. Very clean and reasonable. And free wi-fi.

Review 83：I parked my car when I checked in and left it in the lot until I checkedout. The location was steps away from the village.I rented a kayak from the facility and navigated my way around the lake. It was fantastic. I ate a wonderful breakfast at the Georgiana while looking out onto the lake. Very nice. I had lunch at the Cabana Bar. The service was fantastic. I liked taking my beverage right onto the beach while I sat in the chaise, got some sun, and read. Everyone of the staff members were courteous, helpful, and friendly. Housekeeping was wonderful. They even turned my towels into baskets and animals. It was a nice surprise.

Review 85：This place was very nice. We had a courtside room so no view but easy to park and go right to lower level room. Room was very clean. Lots of pillows. Air worked great. Nice fridge, microwave and coffee pot.

Review 93：That I got hurt first day due to staff negligence. They failed to properly secure a box spring on the bottom of my bed and it extended outward and was hidden by the sheet and it cut and bruised my left ankle. I reported the incident immediately and they did come and fix it bit then I had to complete a incident report. They failed to clean our room after that as well.

Review 95：Unfortunately, we didn't have any hot water, but for one night. We did inform guest services, but the hot water only lasted for 1 night. We had to shower with cold water. Secondly, we couldn't swim in the pool since the water was cold. My 6 year old was very disappointed, but went in anyway, to come out shivering. Meanwhile, the hotel next door had 80 degree water in their pool. Third, the room next to us (331) had a lot of children who were continuously jumping and playing with the connecting door late at night. I would be happy to get a discount on our two nights of stay for room 330, please. Thank you.

Review 97：In one room, the AC generator is SO loud that it kept waking us up at night. In the other room, the bathroom lock is broken that my family members were locked inside multiple times. Also, wifi is usually quite slow. Breakfast is not included.

Review 139：The rooms were nicely updated and spacious. I didn't request a lower level room upon reserving, but they tried very hard to switch us to a lower level to accommodate us with our baby. Room was clean, staff was on top of everything and very friendly, view was great, pool and beach area were clean, and most importantly, walking distance to village, steamboats, forts, and within close driving distance of amusements and other parks. We'll worth the value, I would definitely stay again.
