Review 1：i did have a scare though, i left the room on monday and returned after 7 pm to find my key would not work anymore. there was no one around at the office and i couldn`t find anyone at the grounds. after a few minutes i found someone sitting outside of her room and she informed me to call a different number that was for a different resort(tiki). well after a few minutes someone came up from cleaning rooms and fixed my card so i could get in. it was better than thinking i was going to spend the night in my car.
Review 2：i was very happy with the room and its location. i was there for some needed rest and relaxation.the days we stayed was in the middle of sept. not many people around at that time. we had a good time and we enjoyed the balcony. i would recommend it to all my friends.

Review 15：My main priority for booking a hotel on Lake George is direct beach access, which Tahoe provided. It is the perfect location. There's a deli across the street to pick up quick items, and the village is a five minute drive. 10 minutes to Bolton Landing. I would definitely stay here again.
Review 16：Shower was a major disappointment, tap switch did not change the flow of water to the shower head. Beds were supposed to be queen size, but in my opinion they were only doubles.
Review 17：Room was clean and located on the second floor(RM 236). It had a beautiful view of Lake George with two chairs outside. Refrigerator was clean and cold. Plenty of lighting in the room.
Review 18：We are two in shape young late Twenties early 30 year old women from NYC. This particular motel is too far to walk down to the village with many cars driving at a high rate of speed. If you want to risk getting hit and don't mind walking a mile in the dark without sidewalks (one lane either way), it's doable. We walked into town for coffee the first morning...like I said, doable. I wouldn't risk a night walk unless you normally pack your reflectors for cars to notice you on your nightly walk. The lounge chairs were ALL cracked, dirty. People at the main desk were borderline rude and that is coming from a city-girl where..the majority is rude. I'd like to vacation where I don't feel like I'm bothering you when I'm checking in. The beds are so uncomfortable!!!! I woke up throughout the night, all 3 nights. They didn't sweep the floor once, change our sheets or reload toilet paper when they "cleaned" our room. 210.00 a night, not worth it. Absolutely not worth 210.00. Anything more than 100...don't bother

Review 20：The premises are falling apart. You're lucky the property is not made of wood. The corridors, carpet on staircases are dirty, the walls have spider webs, eggs--horrible! But I guess the type of people you want to come back again are the ones who don't mind these things...

When I called there was no one that could help and did not get a call back from manager , I had to continue calling and finally I got a hold of her and she said she fixed it but would take 4 days!! Bed squeezes , need new sheets , they are old dingy looking...Patio and steps are old ..dangerous!! Please update Tahoe was great in her day!! The town has been redone now the hotels need a face lift !!!

Review 28：The staff were rude. The front desk person was not very polite upon arrival and remained this way through our 3 night stay. On our last day, our room was still not cleaned at 4 p.m we had no towels or toilet paper. When I called the front desk, he arrogantly told me they had too many departures. He told me someone would bring us toilet paper. Half hour later, my husband had to go find it himself. Also, the day we arrived, there was a huge crowd who took over the pool and patio area. They were very loud, kicking soccer balls, and very drunk, one of them vomited on the terrace. The vomit was never cleaned...

Review 33：We didn't like our first room, but they worked with us and for a few $ more, we were moved to a better room, right next to the pool.
Review 34：Everything other than the pool. The room was small. Very small. It wasalso dirty. Cobwebs on the ceiling. Killed three black spiders duringour stay. Power went out to our room, the room next to us and the threeabove us. Housekeeping did not change the bedding. Second day the bedswere made but the sheets still had gritty sand in them that we broughtin from the beach, as did the floor. The best part was when the airconditioning unit leaked inside the room and made the entire tile floorwet and slippery. Staff blamed it on the humidity. They said it"happens all the time". So they know their floors get wet andslippery and people slip and fall on them, yet do nothing about it.Yeah....all around bad experience. But hey. At least the pool had water.

Review 38：The water from the tub didn't go down, and the force of the water came out so hard (which wasn't a bad thing), however the shower curtain was so small that the water flooded the bathroom no matter what you did. The bed linen smelt bad. There was spiders all over my room making it difficult for the children to sleep. The bottom of the pool looked so dirty my kids didn't want to go in. Also they advertised they had boats to rent, including row boats, however they were broken. All they had was a paddle boat, nothing else. They also advertised water sport activities which they did't have. To get to my room I had to walk through a big puddle everyday. My room was located in a place where rain water poured down in front of my room from some type of drain pipes.The hotel advertised like it was a beautiful resort, but when I moved hotels and stayed in the Econo lodge, it was luxury compared to the Tahoe Resort. About 2 hours before check-out I was continuously harrassed by the cleaning crew until I left, which was on time.
Review 39：i didn't like the stay at all. i was so unhappy that i moved to another hotel.
Review 40：The parking was difficult. There were rotten areas on the walls, molding, and floors. The space is in serious need of renovation. There were people fighting in an adjacent room. The desk clerk called rooms near us to find the problem instead of sending someone to see what was going on.

Review 43：Traveled with a basketball team for a local tournament. Hotel had a lot of common patio areas for the girls to gather and enjoy. The pool was warm, they had a basketball hoop and sandy beach area. Cannot beat the location.

Review 45：The view of Lake George from the balcony is priceless! I love the fact that the lake is just a short walk from the rooms. The bedrooms are also updated!

Review 48：The flat screen TV had a serious washed-out picture. The room temperature was tricky to control (it was an unseasonably cold evening in June). The first bed I tried was infested with biting dust mites which give me large, itchy welts. The other bed was free of them. There was no coffee in the room.
Review 49：Tahoe is on the edge of the Lake George strip making it close but quiet. There was a bikers convention in town the day I was there. They have a great lake view and a couple of swimming pools. One bed was comfortable. The staff responded quickly and courteously to my problems with bedding and coffee.

Review 63：Facilities are in need of clean up and repair I had to hand tighten the sink drain in the bathroom because the trap was dripping on the floor. In the morning I took a shower and then there was no hot water for my wife and granddaughter. When we complained to the manager he was arrogant and unapologetic.

Review 65：The entire place was run down, unkempt and unclean. I do not appreciate turning down the bed to see stains. Hair in the shower, and dust everywhere upon first entering the room, i ran out and bought sanitizer just to get through my stay. I was very disappointed as the pictures albeit werent anything out of this world... Did convey an overall neater appearance .
Review 66：Manager and staff lying, rude and so mean. Dirty & not well maintained rooms. Not cleaning our room when they are told so many times and making up stories just to protect themselves. Bunch of liers and don't keep their words when we were promised.

Review 71：The manager is absolutely the most unprofessional inconsiderate person I have ever dealt with. We showed him the pictures with bird feces in our air conditioner, my youngest daughter was ill and he made absolutely no gesture of regret or apology...... Avoid at all cost

Review 73：We really liked the resort. Nice heated pool. It is 3 ft to 8 ft so it was perfect for all ages. The rooms were spacious. They have BBQ grills outside. The resort is on the lake and has a very nice view. There is a small playground and basketball hoop and volleyball net. It's only 10 minute drive to six flags and 5 minute drive to the strip.

Review 76：Air conditioner was broken upon arrival. Bath tub was clogged andfilthy. Sink was filthy also. Comforters had stains on them or maybethey were never washed after the last use. There was mold all over thecorners of the bathroom. Front desk service was very poor. I was askedto move to a different room while the ac was service the following dayas they had no one on duty that could fix it. Then after replacing theac unit I was asked to move back. This hotel is on a hill with severalbuilding levels so I had to drag my belongings back and forth the firstday to move to temp room but I requested to get help when moving back.In all they made waste a good portion of my 1 and half day stay movingaround to accommodate their poor service and incompetence fixing theissue in a timely manner. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.At the very least they should have moved me permanently to good workingroom instead of having me move around.

Review 83：Everything! Dirty...inside rooms and outside decks. Phones did not work, no hot water, toilets did not flush. Room had a heavy smell of smoke..in a non smoking room! Pool water spilling into "game room" two machines there were filled with water. False advertising, web site leads you to believe rowboats and paddle boats are complimentary, however you must rent them. To call this place a resort is a blatant desception! It was disgusting!!

Review 95：Please don't stay here. As a precursor, I am not one typically to write a negative review. I just don't want nice families to make same mistake we did. This place is simply not clean. The bathroom is grimy and moldy in spots. The lack of cleanliness made us uncomfortable during the time we stayed there. We looked for another hotel but everyplace was booked to capacity. Its an older facility so we would have understood if some things were outdated. However, outdated and dirty are two totally different things. The large patio is like one giant ashtray. Not someplace we out could go and relax to enjoy the view of the lake. There are so many fun things to do in the area we were able to stay away from the hotel except to sleep. There are hotels everywhere in Lake George which would seemingly be much better choices.

Review 102：Got a pleasant surprise when checking in with a room upgrade. Some furnishings in the room could be updated, but overall fine. Staff very nice. First time at Lake George and happy to note pictures on web site do not deceive.
Review 103：Crystal at the front desk wasn't to welcoming when we got there. She told us that our room wasn't ready, "to drive around 3pm". We told we had reservation for 11 am, she said that's impossible we don't do that here. I showed her my email and the manager came out and got things done quickly and friendlylike.She was very nice and the young girl with black hair.That's the rating for fair otherwise rating for staff woukd be poor. We were there at 10:40am.

Review 105：No elevators. We were on the top floor. Not great for someone with back problems. But the view is nice from the balcony. The hotel and rooms needs updating and cleaning can be much better.

Review 107：As soon as we pulled up we could tell that the hotel was not what we expected. I was in total shock as the pictures from booking did not corespond to what we found. There was hardly any beach and all the grounds were run down. When we checked in we asked to see the room before we made final payment and the clerks were very unfriendly and were hesitant to grant our request. After some discussion they allowed us to view the property. The property was very run down and in need if some maintenance. Once we got to the room it was horrible. The beds were hard as a brick and you could feel all the springs. The room had a horrible odor and it had a smell to it. I could not imagine staying one minute in this room. When we returned to the office, the clerks were very unfriendly and would not refund our deposit. We left with a loss of our deposit and found a great place in Bolton Landing, Blue Water Manor. Totally redone hotel.

Review 115：The bed covers were old and not clean. Balconies looked dirty and there was cob web everywhere. Most sun deck chairs were old and looked like they were never washed, some even having cob web on them - tons. The beach is beautiful but poorly kept, no raft to use when swimming and the docks were rented out for boats so one could not really fully enjoy them. On some mornings there was a lot of bird poop on the beach. They should check the beach before 8 am to ensure that it is all scooped up. Finally, this resort seems to attract all walks of life: some groups of tourists are respectful of others and not loud, but we experienced people throwing chicken bones off the balcony and also being extremely loud taking over the public space and speaking loudly late at night. The brightest thing about this resort is its location: it is truly beautiful and we appreciated the sense of being alone at some points during the day - no one else at the pool. The management should do more to make sure that clients behave in a way that makes all people comfortable. They seem to look the other way. We saw babies 6-7 months old being held in the pool for a long time without a diper. This is a health hazard.
Review 116：We loved the hotel grounds and the secludedness of the beach. It is very lovely, perfect for relaxation and it is almost never crowded. Even when the hotel is fully booked, the grounds never appear crowded. The docks are pleasant and the view is great. This must be one of the nicest pieces of land around and large too, but too few trees! Close to town though not safe to walk due to traffic. The rooms with terraces are better kept and feel more private. The patio rooms are really old, beat up and dirty. There are only basic amenities and no sun umbrellas at all though it gets brutally hot at the pool and the beach. Still, this is good value for the money mostly due to the feeling of being alone at the resort and no crowds.
Review 117：The whole motel inside and out needs renovating. The bathrooms in particular are disgusting. $140 a night is way too much for this place. It is in such terrible condition that anywhere else it would be a $30 a night motel. The pool also needs a lot of work: tile falling off, mold. The rooms smelled of old and dirty. I would never stay here again and would definitely not recommend it to others. If I could have gotten my money back, I would have left. The photos in advertising are very misleading. AWFUL!

Black mould build-up in the shower handle, stains on the bedding, floor not swept, rooms made up very late in the day, towels not replaced, coffee maker not cleaned or replenished. Review 124：the "resort" looks nothing like the photos on the internet - I believe they were taken many, many, years ago. The hotel is very tired, crumbling cement work on the balcony, as well as rust and spider webs, stains on the walls, and what appeared to be a dirty towel in the bathroom....the staff, however, were very nice. go figure....we'll never stay there again......

Review 136：There might be more of a quiet time established as there were families on 2 nights that stayed up and Partied outside our room into the night. Keeping my children and myself awake. We brought food to cook on the cooker but it was held "hostage" by a large family that used it all day like it was their own. The food was all thrown out and went to waste. Maybe more grills on the levels for more people to use.
