Reviews for Pataros Hotel

Review 1:Owner and staff very friendly and attentive to our needs. Offered advice on what to see and do. Greeted us on arrival with tea and cheese buns (no charge), upgraded me to a superior room because so few guests (end of season). Reasonably priced and nice quality wine, reasonable price for washing. Nice pool area

Review 2:we loved the location, people and comfort. It has placed on top of the hill and around the flowers. its really peaceful. the people are really welcome and friendly. room was really comfortable and has everything you need. even we arrived the hotel late in the midnight, they helped us to check in and place to room. we have only stayed 2 nights, but i m sure this is the place where to stay whenever we go back Patara and Kas.

Review 3:1. WiFi in the room was not very stable. 2. GPS coordinates Booking.com provided were a bit off. The correct ones are: 36.275987, 29.316663.

Review 4:1. Location, location, location... Patara is a beautiful place itself but this hotel has a perfect spot: 3 min to the village center but in a quite and peaceful cul de sac. 2. Staff: the hotel owner and his staff were very helpful and competent. 3. The room is quite spacious with simple but stylish decorations. The only thing which could be desired is some sitting place in the room (there were chairs and small table on the balcony, though). 4. Open-buffet breakfast was very good.

Review 5:Lighting not so good along the driveway

Review 6:Stayed in the Hotel before and it was always nice, but after they just spent a lot of money on it , it is gorgeous. Very comfortable, and very stylish. The family are the nicest people in Patara ! Breakfast excellent too. But Swimming pool is the best thing -the largest and nicest in the village set in beautiful grounds.

Review 7:The booking proceedure online misleading we presumed the room total was the price but found another 15euro per person per room which meant that for turkey the accomodation was expensive at 60euro per room

Review 8:Nice breakfast pool and staff

Review 9:Friendliest, most easy going staff ever Great hotel and beach to unwind. There's not much to do other than chill, but it's perfect for that

Review 10:.....Fortunately, not everything....Still the same kind, professional, can do family...... Still the same wonderful breakfast with Mums homebaked surprises..... Still the same huge pool in a lovely calm peacefulsetting....... But the rooms! Wow, Osgur and his team have worked allthrough the winter to give you quite a transformation. Every room nowshouts boutique hotel with the right balance of minimalist design, comfort and luxury. All rooms are have white walls and linen, the subtleuse of pale oak slab shelving, walls almost completely glass windows andmost impressive of all, the new bathrooms. Here you will find highquality white porcelain fittings, heavy chrome, walk in rainfallshowers....and plenty of hot water! If you are on your first....orsecond! .....Honeymoon, then ask for room 301 on the top floor. This hasbeautiful pale grey slate tiling to the floor and walls, two huge floorto ceiling windows and a double width balcony. The walk in shower couldaccomodate a cocktail party for eight...if you are that way inclined....Or if just two of you...... Nice. I challenge you to find in this area amore up market offer.....for less. I am here for the whole Summeragain........ But just couldn't wait to tell you. If I were aDoctor, I would write you a prescription to stay in Patara. Its theperfect place to relax, reflect and recharge. With 4.25 Turkish Lira tothe Pound at the moment..... Why aren't you here?

Review 11:Location; lovely pool; newly refurbished rooms (to high standard) with super showers, comfy beds and free wi-fi. The staff are very nice and Ozgur the owner/manager is on track with the refurbishment process which will soon finished. The outside area needs a little attention as there is a lovely pool and potential for a very nice raised seating area. Also some new umbrellas! However, this place has a real charm and homely feel and the breakfast was excellent - very good value!!

Review 12:Very friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed informal atmosphere suitable for teenagers. We were very satisfied with this hotel.

Review 13:We stayed in June 2014 for 5 nights. The room facilities were not new, but OK. The breakfast was fine. We liked using the pool very much as the weather was quite hot. Patara (Gelemis) village is generally nice little place. The ruins are quite interesting. The beach is amazing if you like sand - very long and almost empty. We had a rented car and preferred driving to pebbly Kaputas beach which was ideal for us.

Review 14:The solar heat pump broke and we all took cold water showers. Importantly, the fixed it in one day! Rooms; especially bathrooms need updating and repairs

Review 15:Location,location,location!! Family that has owned the hotel for 20 years is now operating and living on site...what a difference management makes. Breakfast is amazing. I was actually the only guest as the hotel was closed...incredibly caring considering i was mostly in their way

Review 16:Very good location with friendly and helpful staff. Pool very clean. A few minutes walk into town centre where possible to organise lots of activities.

Review 17:The staff and management were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, we have older and younger children and we all had a lovely time, a home from home.

Review 18:The hotel is getting to the point where it could start to use a make over--but nothing serious! Everywhere in Turkey: There are no top sheets!? I don't understand this, and the top blankets are always a bit scratchy. This was a problem everywhere, not just at Pataros.

Review 19:The staff was super welcoming, so we had a great stay right from the start. The pool was of a nice size (with a shallow kiddie area). The rooms are of a good size. We thought this was a great value and would definitely stay here again...especially when we have kids. Thanks for the great hospitality!!!

Review 20:The prayers microphoned from the mosque right next to the hotel which woke us at 5.00am every morning. However, after a couple of days we did manage to sleep through it and in balance I would still recommend the hotel for the friendliness of the people who run it and the lovely pool area.

Review 21:A really lovely small hotel with a beautiful pool area. The family who run the hotel were very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and simply decorated. The village of Patara is quiet, but some nice restaurants and a few shops. We went to Patara beach most days which is a short mini bus ride from the village centre. Well worth it as the beach is absolutely fantastic! We went into Kalkan a couple of times, by bus, but returned by taxi which was around £30.00. We preferred the peace and quiet of Patara to Kalkan. Everyone in the village were very friendly and keen to make everything a good experience for us.

Review 22:Patara village is quiet although there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance You do need to get the dolmus to the beach but they are available throughout the day and i'ts worth it when you see the beach and only 10 minutes away.

Review 23:The welcoming family atmosphere of the hotel,They are very attentive and dedicated and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel pool area is relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast with homemade jams ....delicious as was any food ordered. an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the wonderful beach at Patara, day trips or simply days by the pool. I would definitely book here again and thoroughly. recommend it

Review 24:The Hotel really is a gem. It has all the qualities of a farly upmarket hotel (swimmıng pool laundry etc) whilst maintaining all the charm and friendliness of a family run pension. Great breakfast was also included and the hosts are super helpful and will help wıth any problem you have. I have travelled alll over the world for 25 years and not many places offer this much for a great price too.

Review 25:The family who run the hotel were exceptionally kind and went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable. The hotel and gardens are very well looked after, and very good value for money particularly as breakfast was so delicious - my only regret is that I could not take any of the homemade preserves back home with me!! Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday - we will definitely be back!!!

Review 26:Very friendly staff, good location and no crowd of people.

Review 27:The bathroom and you need to ask in order to clean your room

Review 28:The food, the swimming pool & a peaceful atmosphere
