Review 1：We were not told the facility was under construction. Untidy hallways and elevators, very cold drafts due to unsealed door

Review 3：We were not told about major remodeling that was going on. We would have stayed somewhere else to avoid this mess. Had to run water for fifteen minutes just to get warm water. When asked about water situation they said this was also due to remodel.

Review 5：Did not care for the 2 block walk to breakfast. Sold as having wifi, however had great difficulty getting on the Internet. When finally did it was for a very short time and then would kick me off. Advertising should read very spotty internet access and most of the time not at all. There are ice buckets in the room, but no ice machine anywhere to be found. The hotel was under construction and very old. The outside looked nice, would not stay there again.

Review 21：When we checked in, the sink was backed up and the lights in the bathroom did not work. Call front desk, they said someone would be there in ten minutes to fix the problems. No one showed up. The front desk finally moved us and hour after check in. By the time we got to the new room we had wasted an hour and half. The place really needed major updates. Our room keys would never work when we tried to get in our room. We changed keys 4 times in one day. You had to drive to another location to get the keys. One of the worst hotels I've stayed so far.

Review 22：The location was good, Close to the beach. Also the staff was friendly.

Review 23：The refrigerator didn't work. The pool wasn't skimmed; it had lots of little debris from nearby trees in it. The building badly needs updating, which is supposedly happening later this year. It has a cheap and unpleasant look and feel going thru the parking garage, lobby and hallways. When the AC was on "low", the room became overly humid. The door to the room was warped and took a bit of a push to close properly.

Review 24：This is a nice location close to Coligny Plaza and the beach. The beds and pillows were comfy. The AC chilled the room nicely. The water pressure and shower head were good. The staff was nice.

Review 33：Our room keys quit working our first night so we were stuck out in the heat waiting for maintenance to come and let us in. It took maybe 10 minutes and he returned a while later with new keys but it was a bit frustrating. Decks are very small so no seating and the outside cover on our A/C was falling off out there. Also no fan in bathroom and poor air circulation meant it got pretty smelly with wet beach stuff and several people and the rooms are very small. We also werent aware at booking that the rooms are actually 0.25 miles behind the registration (location listed). It wasnt a problem for us but added a little more walk with young kids and beach stuff.

Review 34：Every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. The grounds were lovely and full of wildlife. Easy to walk to beach, grocery and many restaraunts and shops. I think afyer the renovation it will be very nice and was a bargain for beach location!

Review 39：For the money I paid I expected way more. The WiFi did not work the entire time, so we had to use Data on phones and the kids could not use the tablets. We had our room cleaned. They took all our towels and did not replace them. When we got back from the beach, we asked for towels and it took about 30 minutes for them to get there. The pool closed real early. And, the hotel is definitely out dated. I mentioned to the front desk my concerns about the towels and WiFi and didn't really get any response from them. And, when I checked out did not get a thank you for staying with us or any apologies for the issues we had. Disappointing after spending $400 for 2 nights.

Review 41：Hotel was old and gross. My kids didn't even want to stay on the pull out couch mattess. It was soiled and moldy. There were stains on the couch cushions and there was a moldy smell throughout the room. The balcony off the room looked like it could collapse if we stepped on it.

The free shuttle does not run by the hotel If you want a ride you have to call and wait also not for free.. Review 61：This hotel is two blocks maybe from the main entrance to the beach. Very clean, quiet and calming there. They have the bike right in front that you can rent for 24 hours ( $15). Pool is clean and not busy at all.

Review 64：There was a man that was sitting in the entrance way to the rooms and he was with Hilton head guest services, he was nice however he was very pushy about signing up for a "90" minute your of his business, which turned out to be a sales pitch to buy a timeshare... My husband and I did a lot of research about this company, and it turned out to be very crooked! We gave the man a $20 deposit to save our seat, and was told that we were going to get a gift card and free tickets to some excursions! We were tired and not on our game of filtering out scams. When we did not show up he remained at the entry way and kind of badgered us about why we didn't go and made us feel bad. It made us want to avoid the hotel all in all, which is unfortunate because it wasn't that bad of a stay!

Review 66：I did not like the solicitation to attend a presentation on time share purchase each time we entered or exited the hotel. We informed the agents that we were not interested, but they still persisted. I also did not enjoy that our room smelled damp and the carpets were wet. We were told that there had been a carpet cleaning the previous week, but one would expect the carpets to be dry in that amount of time.

Review 67：I enjoyed the closeness to the beach and dining. The breakfast bar each morning was excellent, serving eggs and a meat in addition to the usual carb laden fare of most hotels (waffles, pastries, cereal).

Stained, torn furniture, black mold inbathroom, damaged sink, shower curtain bar falling off, minisculebalcony with no chairs, fitness center had terrible odor (mold?),breakfast far away from rooms, beach blocks from hotel, service terrible(took us 2 days and 5 requests to have our Kleenex refilled. Full ofspring breakers and noisy. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is a 1. And theytried to overcharge us on checkout, even tho we had Booking.comconfirmation with us. Issue still not resolved.

Again the woman was very accommodating however the wifi was down the whole time we were there. The bed was actually very uncomfortable. We stacked the quilts and things from the other bed onto the one bed we slept on to give it a little bit more cushion.

Review 98：You cannot walk straight down to the beach, you have to walk to the traffic circle and through the public entrance. Breakfast and reception areas are way too small. Bathroom and sink were pathetically small. As was the balcony.

Review 102：I had a issue to use the safe in our first room because the pre guest didn't leave the Key for the safe in the room. Instead to give me another room the front desk lady told me to leave the values in the room isn't a problem. I had to ask for the management to solve the issue. The pool shower doesn't work the whole time, everybody was jump in the pool without any pre shower.

Review 109：We were able to check-in a little earlier which was very helpful.it's hidden in a quiet area,surrounded by small ponds where we enjoyed watching alligators and other wildlife.short walk to the beach,bike rentals (although we brought our own).it's close to Coligny plaza,a place to eat and shop.

Review 110：The hotel was not clean. It needed paint, new flooring and to be dusted and cleaned. The staff was helpful at times but mostly they were not. The air conditioner in our room leaked into the carpet and left it soaked ... We needed to move to another room and we weren't helped with that process ... Not even an apology for the inconvenience. The air conditioner in the breakfast area was broken in the first morning of our stay and the room was like 100 degrees. The breakfast food was not very good. The lobby was not clean and the key card to get into the building did not work. The fire alarm went off around dawn on our last day there. The price of the hotel was not at all good considering the condition of the place and the quality of our stay there. I would recommend that the owner of the hotel have it completely renovated and get new management in place. The location of this hotel is literally the only thing about it that has any value.

Review 116：I didn't care - but if you have mobility issues, be aware that the rooms are a short walk to the breakfast or you can drive. This isn't very clear on the website. My family enjoyed the walk as it allowed us to enjoy the morning nature and work off the food we just ate.

Review 118：The main office where breakfast was not conjoined with the rooms- breakfast was horrible -pool closed at 10 o'clock -the taxes and surcharges were more than $50 more per night- wifi was VERY SLOW and didn't work half the time, staff was using luggage carts to move stuff so they were unavailable, when we asked to use them they told us they would bring one to us, 30 minutes later they never showed up, as we were leaving we noticed they still had everything sitting on them and staff was having a cigarette break, our room had mildew or mold in the shower and light over sink did not work - front desk was eager to help the men, and bothered to assist us, was also on the phone with a friend during almost entire check in process
