Review 1：Facilities a bit outdated, though bearable for a nights stay. Creepy town in winter, but I guess it was not the hotel's fault.

Review 11：The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet offered a wide choice of food (especially the bread). We will definitley be visiting again.

Review 12：Paid for a delux room. Well it was on the side of the building that overlooks the marina, but you couldn't see it through the single small window. Good hotel, but don't pay for any thingthing above the bare minimum.

Review 21：Everything. The accommodation was very good . The staff were very polite and helpful, we could not fault them in any way. The breakfast was varied and presented to a high standard with plenty for all.

Review 22：Bathroom very hot and not easy to control the temperature. Free car parking available over the nearby bridge, but may be difficult to find a space in summer. Hotel has some parking available at 15 euros a day.

Review 23：We were given a warm welcome by the staff, who remembered us from previous visits. The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, the beach, harbour and railway station. We visited the Ghent Light Festival (fantastic!), leaving our car in a nearby free car park, as suggested by staff at the hotel. Rooms are good, breakfast very good and the recently refurbished public areas were light, bright and comfortable. Great place to stay.

Review 24：The walls are thin and we could hear the people in the next room talking and there is no parking at the hotel but we parked in the Churchill car park at the train station at a cost of 18 Euro for 24 hours

Review 32：Stayed for 2 nights in December. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was small but very comfortable but please note I knew I had booked a small room. Breakfast was help yourself and had lots of choice. Location was excellent. Overlooking the harbour, few mins walk from a big supermarket (so great for stocking up on supplies), well situated for main shops, bars, restaurants and beach. Station only 5 mins walk . Brugge was only 15 mins away by train and only cost 5 euros return each on thd weekend ticket. Secure parking was available nearby but you need to contact hotel to book it in advance. We had a great stay and I look forward to returning

Review 34：This hotel is in desperate need of an update for the rooms. It was noisy, both from the old windows and the thin walls. The bed was an interesting mix of peaks and valleys, but most disappointing of all was the internet which went up and down more often than the Burlington's ancient lift. I would stay somewhere else next time.

Review 38：This hotel has it's own bizarre booking policy. They ask you for your preference for rooms (twin bed or double) but this matters for nothing. We booked and asked for 3 twin bed rooms in November 2013 for our stay in September 2014 and in June 2014 booked and asked for a further twin bed room. This was for a group of 8 adult men . When we arrived we were allocated 2 twin bed rooms and two double bed rooms. Not sure about most people but much as I like my friends do not want to sleep with them! The attitude from the hotel was "well what do you want us to do about it" which turned out to be nothing. They can't see what's wrong with not giving you the type of room you asked for so with their couldn't give a s**t attitude there are 8 customers who won't be booking there again.

The room was very comfortable and sleeping was no problem as the bed was very comfortable. The amenities were very good and the staff were excellent. Whenever we go to Ostend we always stay there, whether we just turn up or book before we go.

Review 48：We booked a comfort room on booking.com but according to the invoice of the hotel we got a 'refurbished standard' room (vernieuwde standaard) The plumbing wasn't that great. On arrival there was a chemical smell, and when people flushed the toilet on the other floor, our toilet made a lot of noise
