Hôtel Moulin de la Strument descritpion

In a stone building backed by pine trees, Moulin Hôtel is next to a stream and renovated mill which is now a museum. Set in the Ardennes, it has a restaurant with a fireplace, wooden beams and exposed brick ceilings.
The bright, spacious rooms include free WiFi and a seating area with a cable TV. Each is fitted with a carpeted floor and a modern, private bathroom with free toiletries. Some have a sloped ceiling and overlook the surrounding countryside.
Each morning, a breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast room, which has exposed stone, a fireplace and chandeliers. Opening onto a terrace, the modern restaurant serves French and regional cuisine, with a choice of dishes from snacks to gourmet meals. A selection of regional and speciality beers is also available.
The Ardennes countryside offers lots of walking and cycling routes and the village of La Roche-en-Ardenne is a 10-minute walk away. In the area around Hôtel Moulin de la Strument there is canoeing, fishing, and horseriding.

Review 1:Shame the bar and restaurant only open at the weekend. But it's a testament to how quiet it was which was fine by us. Also village had lots of good restaurants/bars

Review 2:Great location, very clean and quiet. Lovely walks from the hotel and close by in town. Super breakfast.

Review 3:Poor soundproofing of room. Late returners above us who had shower seemed to be in the room. No lift or air con.

Review 5:Nothing

Review 6:The owners were extremely welcoming. They spoke English to our limited French. The lovely breakfast was served in s beautiful traditional room. We wish we had stayed longer than one night.

Review 8:Friendly owner & staff, Location, rooms, in fact there was nothing we didn't like!

Review 11:Restaurant was gesloten, helaas. Triestig onthaald, de vrouw wasduidelijk zeer gehaast. De matrassen zijn overtrokken met eenplastieken beschermer, waardoor men direct zweet. Dat is niet aangenaamom te slapen.

Review 13:We enjoyed the beautiful quite refurbished mill. The breakfast was very good, the dinners even better. A good central location to explore the Ardennes!

Review 14:When we arrived hotel was empty and locked up. Had to ring phone number pinned to the door and after about 10 minutes someone came to let us in. This was not really a problem though. Restaurant was closed the night we stayed but there are many good places to eat in the town, so again, not really a problem.
