Reviews for Mandyville Hotel
Review 1:My only negative issue would be that the cooked breakfast took a long time to be served.
Review 2:The staff were attentive and helpful but not intrusive. Given that I was travelling with a toddIer was extremely grateful that I was able to use the hotel's kitchen facilities, even after hours to, heat up food my child's food.
Review 3:No air conditioning, only ceiling fan available.
Review 4:Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Within walking distance of the main beach and attractions. Very nice breakfast menu.
Review 5:No fridge in room but they did let you use the main kitchen fridge. Breakfast could have been earlier.
Review 6:Michael the manager was faultless...such a nice person and so helpful
Review 7:I'm not complaining - constructive criticism - the shower panels were spotless but the floor and door trim could have been cleaner. Also the TV in our room keep saying check aerial connection and we couldn't get a picture.
Review 8:we were really impressed with the room and the staff were great.
Review 9:everything is perfect!
Review 10:the manager Michel is great and kindly help us for our car returning.the house is beautiful and view outside is great!we love the breakfast they cooked for us!anyway!everything is perfect!
Review 11:we didn't have feather pillows the first night which caused us not to be able to sleep. We had to ask for new pillows the next day. Wasn't so bad, just thought I would mention it. I would have also loved if we had the room with the balcony facing the sea!
Review 12:I liked how close the hotel is to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate! It was our 5 year anniversary and they had a cold bottle of champagne and a nice card in our room as we got there!
Review 13:We felt the property represented a three star rating as opposed to the four star rating were expecting. Hotel a little tired in places and room facilities lacking somewhat.
Review 14:Friendly staff. Property is very close to the beach.
Review 15:Tastefully decorated room and property. Very quiet and private. Cooked to order breakfast. Close to town but far enough away not to be disturbed by noise.
Review 16:The tiny patio looked at a brick wall. Next time will ask for an upstairs room.
Review 17:Beautifully decorated. Bed were fantastic, very comfortable. Staff were extremely welcoming and couldnt do enough for us. Will definitely stay there again!
Review 18:The lights kept tripping but help soon came to switch them back on
Review 19:We had a very nice stay, the staff were friendly and very helpful,, we had a very nice breakfast in the morning.
Review 20:A warm greeting on arrival and due to availability an upgraded room automatically allocated to us. Lovely big, clean room with balcony. After a very comfortable nights sleep, a filling, high quality buffet or cooked breakfast.
Review 21:Absolutely fantastic house with super welcoming and customer oriented personal. Michael (who was our host) made our stay like feeling home. Very nice and big rooms, clean, great facilities (2 minutes to the wonderful beach). Breakfast is just very delicious, fresh and served in the very cosy garden of the house. Unfortunately we only stayed one night on our trip on the garden route. We highly recommend this house.
Review 22:NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. I do not think its a 4star hotel, unless i do not know how **** mean. I expected a generator back-up once the power is off. A gate the first two days was not working, have to pull to open and close. I never thought a 4star hotel would not have meals , (Denre told me that there are many restaurants out there when asked if they have meals, let alone tea time with snacks etc, only breakfast. Management never informed us that there is no power , let alone checking if everything is fine. I rate -4-. what you see online soemtimes is not what you get. Thanks Eleanor - Johannesburg
