Review 1：Gisela was a perfect host. The pace is very neat and clean. She helps in planning your trip and you can be sure the places recommended are truly amazing and not to be missed in Bodensee. With lovely Breakfast and a home like atmosphere it was a perfect stay. Wish had planned to stay a little longer there is so much to see and do near Bodensee.

Review 3：I am at a loss of words to praise a very hospitable, warm, ever smiling, hard-working lady that makes this B&B a wonderful place to stay. We had the additional chance to live in her superior room with its sunny terrace. All comforts you may think of in the room ( tables and comfy chairs to work and eat, big closets,..) and access to her garage. Top cleanliness. Wi-fi. What not. I'd like to stress that we are not at all B&B fans and were only influenced by others' reviews and the reasonable price. Go for it!

Review 9：The hospitality was fantistic. Gisela is very enthusiastic and gave us all the information we needed as if we were in a tourist information office. Moreover, the breakfast was great with Gisela's home made egg dish. The location was fine; close enough to walk to sites in Konstanz/Kreuzlingen.

Gisela gave us plenty of information about Konstanz and things to see on our bike trip around the lake along with maps! Thanks for the tip about Stein am Rhein, Gisela, it was really beautiful! Breakfast was scrumptious and Gisela, herself being an extensive world traveller, was an interesting person to chat with. So all in all a very good stay! Next time, we'd like to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful garden.

Review 14：Fantastic hotel with a reasonable price. The owner is so kind and helpful. She showed us the viewpoints and nice restaurants in town, and offered us lots of travel suggestions about the lake area. Moreover, she prepared really good breakfast for us.

Review 17：Maybe the host just wanted to be nice and helpful but she often seemed to be a bit too nosy and pushy with things. If things don't go her way, she could also be quite unfriendly with her guests and staff. Definitely not a good choice for people who like to plan for themselves and don't need or want too much advise. And nothing for people who don't like gossiping.

Review 36：My whole experience with Gisela from start to finish was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.She collected me from the railway station on arrival. My room was very comfortable. The food was excellent. Gisela even packed up some food to take out. I would thoroughly recommend this as a place worth staying in. Definitely home from home.

Review 45：Gisela is the perfect host! From the first second until the last one she took care at all our needs. We came with two babies that received the warmest welcoming, they smiled every time they saw her, played with her and cried every time we left the BnB as they wanted to stay with her. The room was clean and very comfortable, the breakfast is the best I ate. The best value for money you can get. It felt like home away from home. We will most definitely go back there next year!
Review 46：B&B Gisela is our most favorite accommodation presented by Booking.com. Prior to start this trip, we have been communicating via email many times. Gisela has been constantly express her kindness, sense of humour, sincere and lovely manner. She said guests' happiness is her happiness. We are whole heartedly agree with her and feel kind of regret that we could stayed there only twice in this trip. Delays of DB train caused us arrived there nearly 23:00, but when we called just to ask for precise direction, Gisela promptly drove to pick us up from Kreuzlingen train station. She mentioned without any annoying emotion that she had drove and wait for us 2 hours earlier, as we informed our estimate arrival time. Her house is in a peaceful and safe environment, just 10 minutes walking from the train station. All facilities is perfectly clean and comfort with an atmosphere of home. She made us breakfast of more than you can eat with really delicious and good taste. WIFI and heaters work well everywhere in her house. She drove us to the train station every morning we stayed there. We felt sense of friendship and satisfaction with her from other guests. They are 2 families with little kids, both of the nights we were there. It is not unexpected that her house is nearly fully booked through June, 2014.

Review 51：We made the mistake of assuming that "dogs allowed" equals "dogs welcome". Our host was kind until our dog got our bed dirty. Our dog is not perfectly behaved (she is young), but she is obedient enough that we are able to take her to restaurants for every meal with no issues. The B&B host is meticulously clean, to the point that no shoes are allowed in the building. This may be good for many except we were not expecting to live up to such high cleanliness standards in a B&B where dogs are allowed. Each night we returned to our room, we were greeted with a note stating how our dog was ruining her sheets and must stay off the bed. This continued even after we apologized multiple times, hand scrubbed the sheets to the best of our ability, kept our dog off the bed for two nights, and offered to pay for new sheets. We decided to cut our vacation a day short, so we would no longer disturb our host or receive passive-aggressive notes, leaving money for the extra night plus a generous tip for her trouble. Her first reaction before counting the moneys was "but you have already agreed to pay for all nights" which I then told her that the full amount was there plus extra and I hoped we didn't cause too much trouble to which we responded "yes, it was a big stain, I hope I can get it out" instead of a simple "thank you" that we would expect from a gracious host. This confirmed for me that we were never welcome. Overall, decent location and affordable, but heaven forbid you bring a child that wets the bed, wear shoes to your room, someone gets sick, or you have a dog that happens to shed or get dirty paws (which I would think most dogs do). I would expect that a host in this business would have more patience and tolerance when it comes to cleanliness, but guests beware that there is potential to see another side of your host if you do not live up to her expectations.

Firstly, I have to tell about location - it's just perfect: only a few minutes from the most beautiful Lake Constance and the old city - what can be better for the walking trips! Besides, it was an unique atmosphere, much more than just B&B. Gisela is wonderful women - exceptionally friendly with great knowledge of the area and her tips really helped to save our time and money. The breakfast was excellent and the room is even larger than on the pictures, very clean and bright. Everything was superb!
