Review 1：The rooms were extremely hot and the street a bit noisy, although we were there during an extremely hot spell and over New Year!
Review 2：The whole concept! Well appointed rooms and well fitted kitchen with everything you need. Pleasant entertainment area.
Review 3：The overall feel from the Funky place to the staff was amazing. Always smiling and friendly. It was a home away from home and always felt warm and inviting. When looking around you need to try find the small things that are not quite right. Was a little of a challenge but for an OCD person quite easy to spot. If you want a relaxing break with little worries and time to relax this is the place to stay.

Review 5：Great location in Dolphin Bay, Jeffrey's Bay. 5-minute walk to the beach. Room was spacious, very clean. Great double shower!! Comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was safe and secure. Great value for money!
Review 6：1. Loud night club next to it on a Monday night. 2. Unreliable internet wifi available 3. BBQ area below bedrooms ( 1st floor) resulting in room beeing full of smoke which wasn't a nice experience. 4. Pool is the size of a jacuzzi.

Review 8：We got a whole apartment with 2 bedrooms, TV room and kitchen. Stuff were really friendly, made our laundry. Apartment is close to restaurant's and beach.
Review 9：FUNKY!!! Safe. What a gem!!! And for a really good price. Very helpfull and friendly staff. Go eat out at "kitchen window", we even had lemon-oil prawns for desert :-)

Review 11：Funky House has it's own personality! The personnel was very nice and helpful. We will love to come back in summer to enjoy the barbecue and swimming pool with her guests!
Review 12：Save parking behind the gate is possible at night! But you had to park behind eachother. Which means that you have to move your car if someone else wants to leave that is parked in front of you. But this is only in the morning. In the daytime you can park outsite the gate.

Review 17：Unfortunately JBay has seen better days. Staff told us not to go out after dark, ie 7 pm as it's not safe cos of street urchins! Someone had been mugged the week before for R1800. Load shedding meant total blackout from 8-10pm. V intimidating sat in bedroom

Review 19：was really great and well located - like staying in a hotel for the price of a cheap hostel. unfortunately the power was out while we were there (was J bay-wide) so couldn't have a go in the hot tub but will be back! Got a great tip from the owner for dinner at the Kitchen Windows too.

Review 21：Because it is so close to the nightclubs the music was very loud and we didn't get a lot of sleep in as it continued way into the early morning.
Review 22：The hotel looks good and the staff were friendly, the location is also good as it is close to the main beach and restaurants, this is also a negative point as the nightclubs are close and the music loud. The room was nice.

Review 25：We could have been told that it was self catering. The communication between the person who did the booking for us and the lady who booked us out should be better, we paid by card and the lady thought that we still had to pay. Not her fault.

We really felt at home and would have loved to stay longer than the two nights. The room was beautiful, the bathroom perfect, as was the style of the whole house. The Jacuzzi in the backyard, what can I say, Wellness at FunkyTown. Great place.
Review 60：We were so happy to arrive in Jeffrey's Bay at Funky Town, even though we arrived a lot later that we thought, Tayrene who welcomed us was so helpful and friendly! We had the penthouse apartment and a double room and it was all exceptionally clean and very well designed! The beds were the most comfy we had on our whole trip! We just wish we had more than 1 night there! Thank you for a great stay!
