This Weirs Beach area bed and breakfast features individually decorated rooms that offer fireplaces. Weirs Beach and Meredith are each 5 minutes' drive away and the Gunstock ski area is 15 minutes' drive away. The property is 1 miles from Funspot.
Themed rooms feature reading lamps, an easy chair or couch and an en suite bathroom. One room has a spa bath.

The room was very clean -- much cleaner than most hotel rooms that I have stayed in. Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful experience!

Review 14：We were unsure if rooms locked when you left them. We were the only guests the night we stayed so it did not matter. You could lock the door when you were in the room.

Review 17：Michael, the host, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. He drove his own car to show us an exceptional cross-country ski area after our arrival (a 1/2 hour round-trip), and then served us complimentary wine afterwards by a glowing real-wood fire.

Review 21：Everything! View is fabulous; 5 acres of seclusion makes for a relaxing stay. No neighbors and very little traffic on this "back" road. Mike, the owner, is fabulous and makes one mean omelette! We are certainly returning to this spot.

The Lighthouse Inn B&B has lovely grounds and very friendly and helpful hosts - all of which we experienced for about 20 minutes until given directions to travel approx 5 miles to a completely different site for our 2 bedroom Cottage. We had assumed we were staying in the grounds of the Lighthouse Inn, which from it's photos looked lovely and was why we booked. The info about the Cottages being elsewhere is buried in the web page but we had not realised this.

Review 38：Everything was a lie! Stove didn't work, wanted to make breakfast and only 1 burner worked. Not enough towels, there was No-one around to get any extra. We had 5 in our group and only 2 towels and 2 hand towels, 2 wash-clothes were stained. The Wi=Fi didn't work for the most part. The cottage was dingy and not enough sleeping space, One of my kids had to sleep with blankets on the floor, The cottage was supposed to sleep six, NOT TRUE! very expensive for what we got, we will never stay there again!!

Review 40：Being picky: There are no views of the lake :-(, but none were promised... We were on a (large & nice) room at the end of the house and wifi coverage was poor inside the room (but it was OK once we got close to the room door).
Review 41：The B&B is located in a very quiet patch not far away (by car) from Meredith (nice !) and Weirs beach. The owners try to make your stay nice (coffee, breakfast, indications,...). The garden is very nice and the house quiet (excellent place to relax). Apparently there are interesting animals around (deer, fox, bears, ...), but we didn't stay long enough to see them.
Review 42：When I booked, I didn't realize that the cottages were not located with the main inn. I would have liked a lake view. The smoke alarm went off when I used the stove, even for just boiling water. A sign above the stove to remind guests to turn on the a/c unit when cooking would be helpful.

Review 45：We enjoyed our stopover on the way to Maine at the Lighthouse Inn. You were wonderful hosts during our short visit. Our accommodations were fine and the breakfast was outstanding. You offer nice touches with the cookies, wine and drinks upon arrival. We always like chatting with the other guests when we stay in b&b's and yours was no exception. We shall return.

Review 52：We first stayed at the inn for our wedding night, last year, and we fell in love with the place. My husband loved it even more than I did, and he wasn't familiar with this style of lodging. We came back again this year for our anniversary, with an upgraded room, and were even happier with our stay. It is very warm, comfortable, and inviting. Mike and Pat do a great job at making you feel right at home. We plan to make this a yearly anniversary trip.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever been in and I had one of the best night's sleep that I can remember. It was so relaxing to play scrabble in the great room by the fire and drink complementary wine and tea with homemade oatmeal cookies. It was the best B & B experience I have ever had.

Mike (the owner) recommended us a good restaurant in Meredith, closeby called Mame's and indeed it was very nice cosy restaurant with a great menu. The setting of the Inn is so beautiful and quiet and if you're lucky you might even see the deer or bears. Don't hesitate and stay at the Inn, you won't be disappointed!!

Mike's personalized service was top-notch, he has excellent knowledge of the local night life, restaurants & events/sightseeing places that rival a full time concierge.
