Review 1：Durning the night the AC didn't work very well, it was pretty uncomfortable in the room but as we were traveling with our pet and not wanting to change rooms chose not to report it in the middle of the night. We were quite surprised when we checked out the next morning that we were not asked how our stay was. We're were most disappointed by the fact that they advertise lake view in their lounge which is untrue.

Review 2：The staff that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the room when we first checked in, she was very quick to take care of the problem in a way that made us feel special. The room was clean and well decorated. Beds were comfortable although the pillows were worn out.

Review 9：Only bad thing was I could not get to the top floor to take pictures of the lake. It was closed due to construction/remodel.

Review 10：It was easy to find, right on the main highways. It was close to Lake Okeechobee. Mostly remodeled hotel. Food across the street was excellent!

Review 11：i booked a room that should have had a king size bed,balcony with view over pool and lake area,and a big sit in hot tub. did not receive any of those me and my husband had to sleep in separate beds because we are large people and have a 18month old who sleeps with us. had to stand in the shower sideways shower was tiny, and husband is a smoker and he had to leave his family to go out to the parking lot to smoke because we did not have the balcony that was requested

Review 12：I was given a was nice, clean room with lots of towels. When I checked in I was give a free drink coupon at their longue and a free breakfast at the place across the street.

Review 14：The staff were the most helpful of any hotel we have stayed at in the USA PERIOD!!!!!. . The four poster bed was comfy, The breakfast was nice and theres even Alligators in the near by Creek. Dont see that every day. Will defenatlly return again !!!

Review 16：Beautiful looking hotel with lots of space around and with a splendid location on the lake. They need to get the pool fixed though. We left a day early because we had run out of things to do in the area without a swimming pool on site.

Review 17：The only disappointing things were the pool is closed for renovation and so was the observation tower.

Review 19：We arrived early for check in and was advised our room would be ready in 15 minutes. We shopped for a bit then returned an hour or so later and our room still wasn't ready. An hour after that we were able to check in. Very slow service but the rest of the stay was great. Check in time is 3 pm and we finally made it in our room by 5 pm.

Review 47："breakfast" was a packaged donut type pastry with no alternative choice. Room had no microwave, no refrigerator. Room across the hall had door pulled off hinges and propped. Staff tried to be friendly, but not very professional. Staff did not know correct address for GPS entry to locate facility.

Review 48：The so called 'continental breakfast' consisted of prewrapped muffins (one which had a green spot).

Review 53：This is my 3rd stay at PierII Resort and each stay I was in a different room; however, I have been completely pleased with how quiet this establishment is! I am a very light sleeper and I've slept well every time I've stayed. This is a major deal for me!

Review 54：I stayed in room 103 March 30- April 6 2014. I was greeted by the staff at the front desk and during my check in I was informed I would have to leave a damage deposit of $50.00 which would be refunded at check out if no damage to the room. Also during the entire week a dog in room 105 barked and wined, I understood that this room was occupied by the manager. Also during this time the tv in room 105 was on the entire time and at some points so loud you could hear it down the hall to the ice machine. During the week my sheets were never changed.

Review 60：The staff was friendly. We called 2 days b/4 to insure that our roomwas on the ground floor,non smoking and were assured that's what wewould have upon arrival. We checked in,given door keys and proceeded tothe end of one of the buildings. There we looked up at the outdoor 35 to40 steps to reach our room. Went back to the front desk - this is notgoing to work!! The clerk told me that "THEY" had moved usjust that morning. She started searching for another room. Now there was2 other cars in about 80 car slots. No other rooms availabile? She saideveryone was probaly out fishing! Well no thanks. Let me get themanager. In fairness he offered to move someone and put a king in theroom. By that time, we were exhausted with the situation. As we did notsee the rooms, we have no report on the inside facilities. Front deskarea looked tired.

Review 61：I thought there was Wi-Fi in each room but the building I was in wasn't set up for Wi-Fi. The alternative was to go to a separate building where the lobby is and use their computer there.

Review 62：As a light sleeper, I loved that staff assigned me a room on the opposite side of the road so it was really very quiet.

Review 63：We were they for a wedding and at the last minute our DJ cancelled. The hotel staff immediatly obtained equiptment and a DJ and set up at the wedding site. They really saved the day. What a miracle!!!!!! God Bless Cliff and all involved.

Review 64：the room was clean but one remote didnt work and the floors what ever they cleaned them with was a little sticky.

Review 68：Bed was a king size with double sized bedding and was very uncomfortable. Towels were old and would be better used as shop rags. The walls had water damage and moldy. Carpet was sticky. The entire stay was gross. I wish we went elsewhere but it was so late when we checked in.

Review 70：Cliff was an asset. Upon entering my room I found that I could not lock my door. Further investigation revealed that a business card had been taped over the door jamb thereby rendering the door lock useless. When this was reported to the front desk they already knew that the door had been rigged. They said it was because the door lock was hard to open. I entered the room several times and never had a problem. We checked out the next day and found other lodging for the rest of our week long stay. Towels were not in the room upon check in and when we finally were given towels they were threadbare and stained. Will never stay there again nor recommend. Pier 2 Resort...... Should be called Last Resort.

Review 71：The lounge and bar was closed. There were piles of dog feces near the side entrance that we used. The pool was dirty. There were 2 large bags of garbage in the hall a few doors down from our room, and were still there the next day when we checked out at 11:00 a.m. The surfaces of furniture, lamps, tv, etc. were dusty, there were burn holes in the carpet and bedspread, even though we had a nonsmoking room. The glass surface of the desk was dirty and needed washing before we could use it. the room needed a thorough cleaning and vacuuming, especially in the corners and where the walls meet the floors. The base of one bedside lamp was broken. The bulb burned out while we were there. I did get a replacement, but that bulb continued to flicker, so I changed it with another bulb in the room, and when I moved the lamp, that bulb went out. The motel had no sitting area in the lobby. However, they offered coffee from a thermos in the morning and some individually packaged fairly awful rolls for breakfast. Obviously, some money was invested in this property at one time. Unfortunately, it has been allowed to deteriorate. This could be a lovely place, as it has a great location, but it needs a lot of work.

Review 72：The location was perfect for a fishing trip. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, suggesting a restaurant and printing a map of the location of the fishing headquarters. The bed was comfortable, and the room was large. There was a fridge and microwave, but we didn't use either. There was no clock in the room, but we requested and got a wake-up call.

Review 74：Staff were excellent and tried hard to accommodate needs. The week we stayed the hotel was full due to a bass tournament. The accommodation was value for the money we paid the hotel is going thorough refurbishment and under new management who really were trying to update all facilities. The beds were comfortable and rooms clean. I would have no hesitation staying again.

Review 75：Beds were uncomfortable. Sitting chairs were uncomfortable, bath tub was slippery, unable to get handycap room. Had 2 rooms, one had no phone, and were worst than the other. They need to upgrade there rooms.

Review 100：The property in itself is a very nice piece of property but the upkeep needs to definitely be attended to a lot more. The pool and the deck is a very nice space but again it's run down and would be beautiful if it was painted and upkept. The bar on the pier is nice.

Review 112：Friendly, helpful staff, easy to find location with plenty of parking space, clean and spacious rooms. Hotel offers a free cooked breakfast at a cafe across the street, or there is a breakfast stand in the lobby area if you just want something light. There is a bar with character on the pier to the waterway, adjacent to the parking lot, and Big Mama's chuck wagon serves great takeaway food Monday through Saturday.

Review 113：Beds could be unpscalled to Queen size. Viewing tower maintenance was required so as to utilize to see the Lake. Redecorating would greatly enhance initial appearance. It is an upscale fishing clientel resort. Pool was advertised but appeared to be awaiing maintenance.
