Review 1：Room was beyond run down (carpet stained, broken lighting in bath (a table lamp was plugged in on the bathroom counter) flooring cracked, heater just plain scary, dirty walls, and mid century door 'locks.' No blankets. The mattress had a hole, but no sign of bedbugs. Still, I didn't sleep. I decided to make do when I checked in because I was running to meet family for dinner. I regretted not checking out immediately after spending a sleepless night.
Review 2：I picked the place because of the great location near the beach, away from the freeway and chain motels, at what seemed a reasonable price. The Manager, Iva, was very kind and tried to be as accommodating as possible. Sheets were clean, and rug appeared to have been vacuumed. Perfect location, could be a real gem, but needs major investment and overhaul to be fit for guests.
Review 3：This motel was not value for money. the rooms are in a bad state, broken old tv, furniture with initials scratched onto the surface, carpets all stained, thin tatty curtains which let the light in and even though a non-smoking room the whole place was infused with cigarette smoke, broken air conditioning unit hanging off the wall.

Review 5：The train was so loud pass by every 30min, saw a roach and i had my 3yr old daughter. Smelled alot of cigarette.

Review 11：There is train tracks right behind Motel and if your not ready for it. It will startle you! There is NO AC only 1 Fan!! :( the bed has some sort of plastic that is really loud when you move around bummer. The area is not the greatest make sure you lock your Car!!

Review 13：While it was super close to the beach, the motel is old old old, butnothing a little paint, flooring and cute furnishings couldn't fix.The clerk (owner, I think) was pleasant and nice but noted upon check-inthat the motel was built in the 50'S. (Fair Warning!). I'm notsure they have done much to it since then. But it was clean and close tothe beach.

Review 18：What can you say, It was close to the beach, the pier, and downtown. Better selection of cable channels than a lot of places. No bugs.
Review 19：Rooms were dirty. No fan or ac. Bathrooms had dirty curtains with lots of black stains on it. Lots of dust in the bathroom and rooms corner. Beds were making lots of noise. Cockroaches in the bathroom. I complained in the office next morning and the lady really apologized and returned money for one room. But it doesn't make me feel better I am OK to pay for comfort of my kids.we could not enjoy our next day of vacation at sea world because we all were tired and sleepy. By the way there was a railway track just across the room and trains were running every few minutes. So we couldn't sleep all night.we had to left our room windows open because it was hot. Just spoiled the hard earned vacation.

Review 25：Couple next door kept us up all night with loud fighting and we had to call the police because they were violent. I know this isn't the motels fault but they should have made them leave. And the police weren't much help either. The location was great though. Easy access to beach,pier and harbor.

Review 29：Windows were jammed open, couldn't exclude the noise from adjacent room, the occupant of which was reluctant to turn down his music, claimed to be a permanent resident and represented himself (along with his Rottweiler) as being some kind of guardian of the property. At 12:15 a.m., this was aggravating. Floor coverings could barely be characterized as floor coverings. Sorry for the bad review.

Review 32：The lady or owner of the Motel was super nice. Told us that she has fresh coffee every morning if we wanted some. People that were staying there were very friendly. Nice & close to the beach if we wanted to walk.

First shower had hot water but hot and cold didn't come out together and scalded (2nd degree burn. 5. Last two days no hot water pressure. Said it was new problem, husband plumber, looked at it and said problem going on for a while. (Came home dirty couldn't shower. 6. Electric outlet extremely old and fire hazard. 7. Full kitchen with absolutely nothing in it. No hand towels, no silverware, no plates or glasses, nothing not even a coffee maker. A half size refrigerator and microwave that weved no purpose. Way over priced for what the place offers. Should be cond mined and shut down 6

Review 35：The train goes by continuously during the day n evening which isn't so bad, but the 4 a.m. blasting of the horn was extremely annoying. The cracked hanging around outside til allhours of the nite wwasn't appreciated either.
