Review 1：Could hear other guest threw the thin walls.
Review 2：Cleanliness! Location within walking distance of restaurants and other stores Close to Custer State Park and the beautiful lakes Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore and all the other attractions.
Review 3：Out-dated decor, parking spaces very narrow, air-conditioning unit very loud and old. Small rooms, no closet area in one room. For being marketed as a two-room suite, it didn't live up to that image.

Review 5：Great helpful staff. Location was good. Easy access to routes for Crazy Horse, Rushmore, Custer State Park and other attractions. Room was clean & comfortable. We will stay there again.
Review 6：The bed wasn't the greatest so we had sore backs. The town itself closed up too early.

Review 8：The reservations were messed up when we arrived at 9:45PM and the Office was already closed. When we finally met with the Managers, we thought we did not have a room available. It was ultimately cleared up but it created a scare for all of us. The quite expensive charge for the 2 nights was due to the seasonal Rally being held those days but we weren't a part of that, so very disappointed to pay more than the room was worth.
Review 9：The location was great and convenient. The room was very clean but the hotel is old and did not have the amenities usually associated with a charge one-half of what we paid.
Review 10：Room was to have 3 beds got there after 10 pm and had a note with key to a room with only 2 beds. To late to do anything about it and was not happy having to sleep on the floor

Review 13：The staff here are pleasant and had a lot of information on places to go and eat. We didn't have to spend the money on tour. We did it ourselves. We really enjoyed it. Great proximity to Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore. Our room was clean. Affordable place to rest. We are glad we stayed here.
Review 14：No breakfast. Good location. 95.oo nite. Not bad for no reservation until last minute. Nothing fancy but a clean place to sleep. Eat at the restaurant s downtown. Tryed 3 and enjoyEd all of them.
Review 15：Even tho the motel was old, it was well maintained. It would have been nice to have some kind of breakfast, even toast or cereal. Definitely need coffee!!!

Review 17：While a bit dated outside, the room was modern and even had a microwave and fridge. They even will give you touristic advice with maps and guides. Restaurant next door has good food. Even called when we left something behind.
Review 18：We liked the decor...had a bit of a lodge feel. Loved the large indoor pool and hot tub. It was clean. The beds were comfortable and the people (owners) were very personable and helpful.
Review 19：The room smelled old, was not very clean, we had two moths fly out of the curtains and in the bathroom. The bed was old and very uncomfortable. We booked a king bed room but they gave us a double queen, not a big deal just a technicality! Pretty sure the toilet leaked in the bathroom, we did not tell anyone because we just slept there one night and left early the next morning. No one around when we checked out, just dropped our keys in the drop box. We have stayed in worse but when you pay $80-100 for a room you expect it to be pretty darn nice, at the very least clean and clean smelling. I wouldn't pay more than $50-60 for a room like that.
