Review 1:I narrowly avoided disaster after dropping a roll of toilet paper in the toilet. There was no plunger in the bathroom. Luckly after a couple of flushes it went down.

Review 2:The room was clean. Which was nice. Staff was okay.

Review 3:Parking is difficult and I will not park in the back, poorly lighted lot.

Review 5:We arrived at the hotel at 9pm with 2 small tired children only to be told our reservation (which we had confirmation of from booking.com) didn't exist. Instead of apologizing and quickly being placed in an open room (which we were told was available), we were made to stand in the lobby with crying children while we waited for the "manager" to appear. After about 15 minutes a man in torn jeans came into the lobby. Apparently he was the "manager." He then spent another 15 minutes first lecturing us that we must be wrong about where we booked the hotel, despite us having proof of confirmation from booking.com, and then actually had the nerve to lecture us about how we shouldn't get upset in front of our children. I have never had a worse experience in any hotel (and I have traveled extensively and stayed in all types of hotels) or been treated worse by a hotel employee. It turned out that this man was actually the owner of the hotel (we learned that Best Western Pluses are franchised) and clearly doesn't care about getting repeat business. The next morning he could not even bring himself to face me and apologize for his atrocious behavior, and instead only addressed my husband, throwing some TGIFriday gift cards at him as though that was an acceptable replacement for the embarrassment and stress we went through. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Review 6:If you don't have to interact with the owner/manager, you can expect to have an ok stay. The facilities are fine, nothing fancy, and the location is right off the highway.

Review 7:No HD tv, no premium channels, no full length mirror, breakfast was a mad house if you wanted an omelet. No in room safe.

Review 13:The first room I was in was filthy. In short, there was a half-eaten container of chocolate ice cream in the freezer. Freezers aren't typically used, in my experience, so overlooking that is excusable. However, it did prompt me to inspect the room more closely. I looked behind the night stand. Behind the night stand there was American Airlines ticket stubs/papers and American Eagle clothing tags. There was an extra-small sizing tag placed inside the closet presumably from American Eagle. When I opened up the night stand drawer, there were used laxative pill sheets (the plastic punch-out kind) along with pills and some other medical stuff. Honestly, I did not want to touch everything. I noticed the Bible was propped open by something so I opened it to find two condoms inside (unused).

Review 16:(This was really not a huge issue) The elevator had some minor issues but with anything mechanical it will require repair. The parts to repair it weren't in but if that is the worse thing to happen we are doing great. I am going to figure the problem is fixed as we speak.

Review 43:Although we arrived promptly at check-in time, hotel did not have reserved room type. The room was oddly laid out (bed very close to front door; desk and chair right in front of bathroom) and had other quirks (doorstop was cracked and kept falling off of wall, information binder had a wedding itinerary which we were not a part of, nightstand lamp was unplugged). Air conditioning unit was not intuitive and did not have a decent range. Pillows were too big and not comfortable. Hotel only had ice machine on first floor. Only one of two room keys worked. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Review 56:We have stayed several times at the Hannaford Inn & Suites. We keepcoming back because of its location, rates, comfort, closeness to ourfamily who live in the surrounding area. Front desk personnelresponsive, can do, will do attitude. The breakfast offered is an addedbenefit which is thoroughly enjoyed.

Review 60:Check in Staff was fantastic and we were able to check in a little bit early after a long flight. It was a quiet room for the most part which was important to us having our little boy spending time in the hospital and recovering.

Review 61:Pool was not open on memorial day weekend. Blood stains on sheets. At first, they said I had cancelled my reservation, but they got us a room anyways.

Review 63:staffWe stayed at Hannaford in Cincinnati on Galbraith near Kenwood mall.We checked in about 5:00 p.m. on 5/7. There were two young women on duty. We went to the breakfast area to have wine. during that time the women sat at a table in the area and were eating peanut butter and jelly and biscuits. Every time some one came in to check in they took turns waiting on them. Very unprofessional for a hotel of this caliber.That evening we returned from dinner around 9:00 and saw the message lite flashing. there were no directions on the phone for bringing up the message. I called down to the desk to get advise on bringing up the message and one of the same girls answered and said to dial 555. This did not work. she then said to dial 550. This did not work. Then she told me that she had been there all evening and that I had received no messages for our room and there must be soemthing wrong with the phone and she would send someone to fix it in the morning.The next morning I met a friend for lunch and she said she had left a message for me re: our lunch time to meet. Later I talked to the manager about this and she told me the number to get messages is 500. I finally was able to bring up the messages and indeed there were two messages.The following day my husband were sitting out in front of the hotel and the same young woman from the 7th was outside of the motel on her cell phone chattting away. A young man came out to tell her to come in as her help was needed. She acted disgusted that he had interrupted her call. She did not go in immediately and finished her call before she did go in.Please be advised that hiring persons of this caliber leaves a very bad impression of your hotel. The staff is the first impression of your establishment and I am sorry to say this left us with a very unsatisfying impression.We will return to the Hannaford because for our needs the location is excellent.

Review 65:First, I booked our stay online. When we arrived at the hotel, we learned that they were overbooked (we were told it was because of a new computer system) so the room we reserved was not available and we had to settle for something else. Instead of the 2 beds we reserved, someone had to sleep on the pull-out couch. Second, we stayed Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6. Our room was not cleaned on Saturday, April 6. The bed was not made and we were not given new towels for the next day. We just thought this was a service included with our stay.
