Review 1：The Christian theme was a little unusual but didn't seem out-of-line with the overall theme of Custer.

Review 7：Usually there is a breakfast included in the price. Guess it might not have been too difference in price. We have been splitting our breakfasts as meals are of a greater size when going to a nice place to eat.

Review 13：Clean! Comfortable! Well Maintained! Friendly Atmosphere. Outdoor seating. Evenings we actually set outside and visited with our 'neighbors'. Wow! You wouldn't do that at the chain hotels. Motorcycle friendly...soap, water, microfiber towels available for cleaning up our 'ride'

Review 15：We loved staying in a locally owned motel that has preserved its retro charm. The rooms were neat, clean and cute! The front desk staff were helpful and the housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. The location in Custer was centrally located to all the sights we were interested in as well. I felt that the property was well represented in all the information provided on the booking.com website.

Review 17：As it cools at night it would have been nice to open windows for fresh air while sleeping. They are painted shut and no screens. It might be worthwhile investing in some new windows with screens. Save on your cost of energy usage and that means a bigger return on investment.

Review 22：Our motel room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. The room is small as is the bathroom. We didn't have very good WiFi service and the shampoos, soaps were not too great. It was quiet and centrally located. And it was a real take back to the 50's and 60's. We would stay here again if we were in the area. Overall a nice, fun experience.

Review 25：I concur with all the good things said. I would just add this about the bathroom - If you shrunk me up a little and gave me a cot, I could live there! To owners Don and Brenda I just say, "you are artists."
Review 26：It's a retrofit of small rooms so bathroom is undersized. The Jesus-ra-ra religious expression at office/check-in is a bit much if that's not your thing, but is not continued in the rooms and so easily ignored. Wifi was flakey.
