Review 1：The refrigerator was actually a freezer. Even on the lowest setting it froze our milk overnight. No station listing for local cable. Furniture was old and in need of replacing. One of the beds had a very lumpy mattress. The other was fine though.

Review 5：When we arrived, we tried to use a different credit card and were told this was not possible. The rooms were ok, but the price of 250.00 for 2 nights, it was not worth it. I have stayed in this quality room for 79.00 each night.
Review 6：After a long day of driving and travelling, we booked a night at the Gilroy. The room was dingy, hadn't been cleaned, one bed hadn't been made, there was beer cans in the bin and pee down the toilet and dirty towels. Completely overpriced, I didn't want to touch anything in the room as it just all felt unclean. Got out as quickly as we could. Would not go back.

Review 9：The front desk staff is very unfriendly and has no courtesy at all for customers. Even simple request which can easily be fulfilled being turned down without even considering, with bad attitude. The registration room is filled with funny pungent scent!

Review 11：The 5 of us traveled together, and every possible accommodation was made for our wheelchair bound friend. Mike was wonderful about helping us use his office equipment, and the property was well maintained and very clean. We're definitely going back.

Review 14：the hotel clerk was unhelpful and somewhat rude. I asked for information earlier in the day over the phone. He said we could take care of it when we arrived. (which actually meant he could tell me "no" then.) That caused more than a little inconvenience and me spending more money.

Super convenient for Tesla owners who can pull up late at night and charge their Teslas for free literally right next door. Denny's directly across street.

Review 24：This was a last minute trip to Monterey I threw together for my boyfriend. Was fortunate to get this room, lucked up on a cancellation. The Manager was friendly the Room was clean and fresh. Was an absolute pleasure to stay. I will definitely go back.

Review 27：A/C unit was just barely whispering air out of it and when we called staff yo ask if he could set it for us he said it was fine and made no adjustments. We had to drive to Wal Mart at 10:30pm to buy a fan. I walked from the bathroom to the bed and the bottom of my feet got black. YES BLACK!! NO EXAGGERATION. I had to wash my feet I've never seen anything like it. On the surface it didn't look dirty but it was unreal how dirty that carpet actually was. The furniture was very old.

Review 89：I didn't like that the beds did not have a fitted sheet on them. Simply a flat sheet to cover the mattress. When we entered the room it smelled heavily of air freshener. It was so potent that we had to leave the windows open. The towels smelled slightly like vinegar.

Review 100：The man was rude at the front desk. I asked him for the government tax exempt and he said "you booked online not with me and that is the rate you get." Hate to say this but I think he felt strongly about not liking America (he was Indian) when I mentioned the word government. I would never stay here again. It was loud and people were partying all night I couldn't sleep. The bed was horrible my back was killing me in the morning. I never complain about a stay but this was just the worst place I have ever stayed.

I've stayed at many hotels, butthis was the worst toiletries ever & ridiculous to take a showertoo. The tv was so old & dark you could barely see anything. Icomplained about it but nothing was done. One more thing, the people atthe front counter could barely speak English & very hard tounderstand with their lack of knowledge & strong accent.

Review 123：I guess this is just California, but travelling on the 101 to San Francisco took longer than we were expecting. Also 'breakfast' is just juice (orange or apple) and a pastry. There is cable, but the TV's are the old kind (with vacuum tubes).
