Review 1：No heat source in the room. Outside temperature was 36 degrees in the morning. Room was cold when I woke up. WiFi was useless and needs to be upgraded.

Review 3：We went in November. They didn't have a room with a balcony as booked. Told my husband "someone should have called you". No room for legs when sitting on the toilet. Lol Not going back.

Review 14：The greeting we recieved from the older women at check in. She acted as if she didn't care if we stayed there or not. She showed no interest in us. The young girl that took our info was very friendly and nice to us. I believe the older women was one of the owners. She demonstrated very poor customer relations.

Review 19：There is basically no wifi. You can connect to it, but the connection is so poor I couldn't even load a yelp page or send an email or even search with google consistently. I'm an internet businessman and this was debilitating. Be aware that there are no cafes nearby where you can sit and do work. I drove 20 minutes to the nearest such place and even they had spotty wifi. That was starbucks and panera bread. The local library also has similar wifi to the Hershey. I basically got no work done. Consider this place has having no wifi.
Review 20：Free breakfast at the chop shop was excellent. The young, blonde waitress who's on the larger side needs to work on her customer service. She did not say hello or offer a menu. Front desk staff helpful and accommodating to help me check out at 6 am instead of 8am.
Review 21：Room and bed were very small. We liked the breakfast being included, but would have liked coffee included. We would have even preferred free coffee over the breakfast. Continental breakfast would have been preferable, since service was slow in the dining room some days. Housekeepers also did not clean very deep; and WiFi did not connect at all.

We visited the week before Labor Day and found the restaurant and bar closed midweek for lack of staff. Rather than a choice of three options for the free breakfast, why not voucher the dollar equivalent off any menu selection?

Review 31：For the most part the staff were completely unfriendly and unhelpful (with the exception of a gentleman in the front office and John the bartender, who were both great). Staff were unable to give us any information on area attractions or even give us directions around the block to park near our room. The room was fairly clean, though very run down. Balcony was filthy, so we kept tracking dirt and sand inside. Shower was barely functional and water got so hot that my younger child burned his hand. We never got the WiFi working.

Review 38：I called the hotel after booking and was told our room was on the second floor and was remodeled. I asked specifically for the first or second floor due to being unable to do steps bad knees and COPD was confirmed they put it in book. I did complain but all I got was, "I'm sorry the person who took the reservation no longer works here and didn't write it in." Needless to say my knees and COPD acted up terrible. Also could hear every voice outside and every door slam.

Review 40：Bed was terrible-felt like sleeping on a rock. Carpeted floor was disgusting-walking in barefeet caused them to get black. Room felt like it couldn't have been updated since the early 90's. Outside balcony felt tilted and unsafe. Sets of stairs outside were made of stone, and therefore slippery from the rain and were rickety. Plastic blinds were partially broken, dint help in keeping out the brightness of outside lights. Constant foot steps were audible from inside the room.

We had sand on the floor the entire stay. Also the "free breakfast" is a sham..just 3 items on the free part of the menu, and EVERYTHING else was al carte (even the juice!!)

(Ancient dirty carpeting, bugs- alive and dead-, old tv, dented dirty fridge, the toilet seat wasnt clean- thank God I brought Lysol- and the tub was stained and filthy.) The only positive thing about the place was the location. I'll NEVER go back.
Review 75：This is my third summer visiting seaside heights and the Hershey Motel is the best so far. The pool was a fair size. The bar near the pool was great and the free breakfast in the morning was fresh made to order. The rooms were big and clean. Housekeeping came every day and did a great job keeping the room clean and making sure we had a good supply of towels, soap, etc... I will definitely stay here again. This is Seaside Heights do not expect a 5 star fancy motel. The Hershey is definitely one of the best motels in the area!
Review 76：We felt the pool was too small for all the amount of people at the hotel and the pool water was very cloudy due to too many people. We very disappointed with the service and food for breakfast. It took the staff forever for us and other people to be seated when there was plenty of seats and enough staff. When we got the food it was suppose to be hot and it was cold. It would of been better off for us to go to Denny's. Also, we called for a cot and it took them over 4 hours to deliver it.

This is a good place for you, if you are HOMELESS they say breakfast is included, but it is only limited to eggs or French toast, and you have to pay for coffee, and you can not pick up the breakfast and eat in your room, unless you pay for it. I never been in jail before, but the breakfast rules will give you a good idea bout meals there.
