Review 1：We were very late checking in, more like the wee early morning hours. Not only did I receive a Warm Welcome from the friendly Verna, she took a kind pitty (compassion) after I started counting the few hours of sleep before the late 12 checkout. She blew me away, never, NEVER in all my years has a representative of a company so I Amazed me, While showing direction to our room, Vera Asked if a 1:00 check out would help. Fabulous!! Absolutely Fabulous. Thank You Vera for keeping the light on.

Review 2：Cigarette burns in the bedspread, lack of a chest of drawers, and hangers that don't come out of the wardrobe.

Review 10：I was there for two nights. I took a shower after I checked in, and another in the morning, followed by another good morning I checked out. I had to use the same towel for all three showers.

Review 13：The toilet overflowed.And there were hairs in the sink. And when I came out to my car upon check out, it had obviously been in the middle of an egg fight. Supposedly they have an armed guard patrolling the lot all night.Guess he missed that fiasco. Overall the place was a bit sketchy. Would never stay there again.

Review 14：SUCH LOW WATER PRESSURE COULD NOT EVEN RINSE TOOTHBRUSH IN SINK AND HAD TO FLUSH TOILET MULTIPLE TIMES JUST TO EMPTY IT. ALSO ROOM SMELLED LIKE DISINFECTANT. BASICALLY DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE.

Review 27：There wasn't an extra roll of toilet paper available in my room. Theone that was in the bathroom was not a full roll and I ran out justbefore checkout. The towels are of very low quality. I've seenbetter towels at Walmart. You're better off bringing your own,unless you don't mind thin, rough towels. I know California ishaving drought issues so this may be the reason for the lack of towelsin the room in general. I'm not sure. But my room allowed for a maxof 2 guests. There was one wash cloth available. Although I was alone, Iwas thinking if it had been two of us we'd have to get an extratowel from housekeeping. It's not something you want to have to dealwith after you check in and you're ready for a shower. Most guestsare tired and don't want the hassle of having to contact the frontdesk to get needed items that should already be there. Just because thisis a budget motel doesn't mean the guests don't deserve thebest. There isn't breakfast available which didn't bother mebecause I don't usually eat continental breakfast but this may be anissue for some people. However, they do offer coffee in the mornings.The showers are entirely too small. It's so cramped in there I keptbumping into the wall trying to wash other parts of my body while tryingnot to get my hair wet. Good luck shaving your legs in there. Largershowers would be great at some point. Also I think they should have afridge and microwave in the rooms. The motel isn't really set up forguests who want to stay more than a day or two. It's almost likethey don't expect anyone to stay long. But with the lack of afridge, microwave and adequate showers no one would want to stay long.It'd be too much of a pain in the butt. Overall I wouldn't stayagain. I'd spend extra to stay somewhere else that had a biggershower and better towels.

Review 28：I like the remodel Motel 6 did. I usually do not stay in motels and optfor something more upscale. But I was in town for only one night so Idecided to give it a try and see the remodel first hand since it'sbeen years since I stayed at a Motel 6. The staff was really nice. AfterI checked in and was in my room for a little while someone from thefront desk called my room and asked if everything was ok. I thought thatwas cool. They have a pool (I did not use it) that some kids were havinga great time in. The location is great. There's a Walmart,restaurants, gas station, Starbucks and other shops near by as well asthe freeway. The mall and movie theater are one exit down on thefreeway. Motel 6 is definitely headed in the right direction. Although Idid notice some things that need improving.

Review 31：Upon checking in to the room, I see black hair on the floor and by the sink. The room also had a weird odor. Later that night, I unrolled the bath towel and found hair and red (blood spot) on the towel. Then there's also a weird purplish spot on the bed. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. The sheet is very rough and made us itch. The sheet kept riding up on of the corners so that corner was uncovered. The sheets are also way too small for the pillows. Toilet bowl kept flushing black particles out, it was disgusting. I've stayed at so many hotels and this was by far the most uncomfortable stay.

The bed covers were crumpled up, and the pillows were dirty. When I sat down on the bed there was a small hair on the floor. It was stuffy so immediately opened the windows. I think the a/c didn't work cause there was no air. My daughter decided she wanted to go in the pool. I looked at the water and it was dirty and had trash floating in it. Definitely not staying here again.

Out of control I became homeless with 16 year old daughter To add the cherry on top of everything this rooms got dog hair under the beds they never sweep under. I had to bring my own broom And it was taken from room. I ask front desk and answer was they knew nothing about a found broom are you kidding me I know was taken by one of housekeepers the clean my room #318.. I been bouncing from rooms here i know.

Review 46：The walkways and paths to my room were littered with cigarette butts, misc trash and door mats didn't look like they've been ever cleaned. For the prices charged, I would have rather stayed in Carlsbad.
