Reviews for Bayside Bed and Breakfast
Review 1:Nothing at all.
Review 2:It was nice to stay in a lovely old traditional American home.We liked the informal atmosphere of a home rather than a hotel. The attention to detail was charming.Breakfast was delicious. Our host was particularly friendly and we had the opportunity to meet other guests. We really enjoyed our stay.
Review 3:Breakfasts were ok but did not meet our expections of a gourmet breakfast typically served at a B&B.
Review 4:Carol's friendliness and overall helpfulness.
Review 5:It is a great place to stay with a good view and comfortable rooms. Carol went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We can't say enough good things. I highly recommend the Bayside bed and breakfast
Review 6:The opportunity to stay in a beautiful period home in a lovely location . Very friendly host . First time I have ever been woken by the star bangles banner from the nearby naval yard.
Review 7:Timber floors and no door seals made sleeping very difficult due to other guests movements around the house.
Review 8:Our host was excellent went far beyond any expectation.
Review 9:No AC but coming from Texas climate was not that bad.
Review 10:Loved everything about it, location is perfect by the coast. Rooms very clean and can't forget the history of the home.
Review 11:The shared bathroom for several sleeping rooms was not a problem for me but may not to everyone's liking.
Review 12:Excellent breakfasts and beautiful furnishings from the late 19th century period in which the home was built.
Review 13:It is hard to over state the quality of this exceptional B&B. The setting is extraordinary; overlooking the sound from the sun porch and both bedroom and bathroom windows was a treat. The house itself is extraordinary; we enjoyed just walking room to room and savoring both the beauty of each room but the attention to every detail. Breakfast was perfect, and the kind but not intrusive care of the innkeeper made this among our favorite of all our B&B experiences.
Review 14:Room was very clean and spacious and very comfortable. Slept well. a Good value. Very kind to offer an appetizer at a local restaurant (s) !Like home !
Review 15:Our only minor complaint was that the breakfast could have been a little more substantial. No quite enough food.
Review 16:Carol, the owner was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The property was immaculate and very beautiful. The location was great for us. Our bedroom had a lovely view of the Puget Sound Bay.
Review 17:We really enjoyed getting to know Carol. She met all our needs and joined in on the visiting when she was available. The breakfast, while not large, was adequate to get us going on the days drive. Carol was very accommodating an this will be our go-to place now for our overnight stays.
Review 18:I wish I had more time to stay. So much better than a sterile hotel.
Review 19:I liked everything about the home, especially being able to work in the sun room in the mornings before meetings. Lots of places that you can sit and do work here.
Review 20:The house is not near to any public transport. But having a rental car resolved this.
Review 21:This place is a home from home to me. It is well furnished and its cooking facility really makes the stay as if it were my home. The house is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. This makes my stay all the more enjoyable since I live in a densely populated city.
Review 22:I thought the breakfast was inadequate. There was no choice, no cereal options and no seconds!
Review 23:The house and decor was lovely the host was a very pleasant woman
Review 24:1. When we checked in, Cathy herself told us the house was not rented at all that weekend so we could take any room that we wanted. So we did change to one with the larger bathrooms, fireplace, electric bed & a balcony with an awesome view. There isn't enough room ......
Review 25:the house was beautiful, the rooms all attractive, a couple of them had electric beds w/great views of the bay. I was in a wheelchair, and they even had an electric lift to ride up & down with your, very cool.
Review 26:There was nothing we didn't like !
Review 27:The rooms were really comfortable and nice , innkeeper was so helpful and pleasant . I would recommend this stay to anyone .
Review 28:To protect the gleaming wooden floors, we are asked to leave our shoes off, as some people do I'm their homes. I would have brought indoor slippers had I known as I happen to prefer something on my fett.
Review 29:The house is beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed, exceptionally great beds for sleeping, and very quiet. It happens to be the same vintage as my grandmother's house and brought warm associations to it. Carol is the perfect hostess: attentive, responsible, warm and friendly, open, yet not too much so.
Review 30:Attention given by the hostess to the guests was excellent. Nice conversation for all at breakfast with a variety of guests and life experiences as well as good food. For dinner, the places to eat nearby were great. The view of the water and breeze off of it were refreshing. Nice choice and break from the hotel routine!!
Review 31:We had a nice room with a shared bath. Next time we will ask for the Bayside room which has a great king bed and private bath.

Review 56:Carol was a wonderful hostess, and we had a nice visit at breakfast. The area over looks the water and is nice, my wife and I enjoyed our walk along the bluff and veiwing the bald eagle which floated over head. The craftsmanship of the old house is breath taking.
Review 57:The bed was a little hard and we needed more blankets as the room was cool.
Review 58:The Innkeeper was very knowledgable about the history of the area. She made an effort to meet our needs including buying me special tea.
Review 59:Breakfast was on the meager side, but hostess was very accommodating when we asked for more.
Review 60:Beautiful Victorian home. Lovely rooms. Very friendly and hospitable hostess.
Review 61:There was nothing that we did not like.
Review 62:The place was beautiful and we were made to feel very comfortable. We went for our 5th Anniversary and will make it a yearly tradition.
Review 63:Carol is a gracious, warm and highly professional hostess, managing a property which saw its first hundred years of life as a splendid family residence in an attractive old neighborhood with harbor views. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, comfortable, clean and attractive, without much of the unnecessary frou-frou (which I find silly anyway). Food is terrific and atmosphere is both elegant and easygoing. The Bayside will be my home-away-from-home in Everett from now on. Keep up the good work Carol!
Review 64:Can't say as I disliked anything.
Review 65:I stayed with my girlfriend as an alternative to the two hotels in Everett. We both were pleasantly surprised at the accommodations, hospitality and the delicious breakfast. The neighborhood hosts a nice cafe to walk amid beautiful old homes and waterfront scenery.
Review 66:The house is beautiful, located close to Everett but also in a quiet location with a great view. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hostess was friendly, very helpful directions and recommendations. I will go back!
Review 67:Facilities could use a bit of an upgrade - change double beds to queens and add en suites.
Review 68:Lovely historic home with very comfortable charm. Nice addition of a Games Room for guests.
Review 69:Just the sharing of the bathroom facility with other guests. We are so used to having our own bathroom facility because we did not like taking our personal toiletries in and out each time we had to use the facility.
Review 70:We just loved the ambience of the house, it was beautiful and Carol was amazing. I felt like I was at my friend's home.
Review 71:Carol, the owner of the Bedside, was very personable. The service was individualized from the moment we walked in- she asked us what time the next morning we wanted breakfast (she cooks it herself). She referred us to a local seafood restaurant, even calling them to see what accommodations were available that evening. The entire experience was superior.
Review 72:I only wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful house.
Review 73:Carols hospitality was refreshing and she is no stranger to odd requests. I loved the carriage house out back
Review 74:Carol was friendly and accommodating as the host. The property itself is magnificent - a true look back over 100 years as to what the bluff properties must have been in Everett's early days.
Review 75:We decided to stay at the Bayside B&B due to the positive feedback it had erceived from travellers. Thus, we had very high expectations and they were fully met - the house is absolutely charming and Carol as the landlady was very welcoming. The house gave a good reason to stay in Everett for one night!
Review 76:Water pressure in one bathroom was very poor.
Review 77:Very helpful owner. Great gathering space for family. Beautiful grounds with nice patio area. Historical setting.
Review 78:The shower facility is really old...there must be some trouble with the water pressure...almost no hot water during the shower...
Review 79:We have spent two nights there. Its about 5 mins walking to the waterfront and the neighbourhood is nice and quite.
Review 80:I liked everything about our stay. I have nothing negative to report at all about Bayside B&B!
Review 81:Extremely clean! Lovely house in the victorian style, full of quaint corners and comfortable reading nooks. Like going back in time to a victorian dream. Carol was a perfect hostess, and pointed us towards locations that we loved such as the best beaches and seafood spots. She also served a customized breakfast, she really pampers her guests. I recommend this place to anyone, and we would definitely stay here again! It was memorable and marvelous and beautiful.
Review 82:Carol was a wonderful hostess, we felt very much at home in her beautiful bed & breakfast. As well as being lovely, everything was also extremely comfortable, and the breakfasts were great. What a nice place to stay!
Review 83:Cold winter weather prevented enjoying outdoor balcony and surrounding grounds and game room. Must return in summer!
Review 84:Friendly, personal attention paid by innkeeper; lovely, home away from home feeling.
Review 85:The location was surprising and when we first turned down the road we were questioning our choice. However, about the block before the home the neighborhood changes.
Review 86:We loved the house as it is a historic house. The room was cute and it feels like there was a lot of thought that went into designing/decorating the home. The owner has a passion for historic places and obtained many furniture pieces and items that fit well. The owner is talkative and lets you know what is going on with the home.
Review 87:Nice and friendly. The homemade breakfast is great. The house has a nice very nice atmosphere.
