Review 1：The breakfast was quite short in variety. The gym only had 3 machines and one of them was broken down.

Review 2：The room was big enough and clean. Good location.

Review 3：The underground parking was a bit of a squeeze , to get in and out with large cars ours was a 4x4 so anything larger such as a van or minibus would not fit in it !!

Review 4：Very modern room with balcony, loved the shower very powerful and good location. Private parking underneath the building which you have to access via a car lift ? Can't review breakfast as we missed it .

Review 5：I will never stay here again, or recommend the place. To begin, the cost of two rooms booked were taken from my bank one month before our stay, this, I have never experienced. The car park is underground, unless you have a small car, you have to carry out a succession Of manoeuvres to get you car in, getting out is worse. For this privilege you are charged 20 euros a night, It is secure! The Hotel staff (with the exception of Heidi -who was charming and helpful) are miserable, and surly close to point of being rude. The room sizes for a supposedly four star hotel are extremely small. Ibis have bigger and better rooms. The bathroom was a joke, you could not swing a cat, there were no shelves, no toilet roll holder, no high lever shower bracket. If you wanted a shower, you had to hold the attachment above your head. But the beds were comfy. The room had a nice flat screen TV, but no remote! -It had a fridge, which did not work. Sleep was difficult, as the rooms pick up all the noise throughout the night of passing traffic and revellers. The room had tea/coffee facilities, but supplied powdered milk. When I had the audacity to ask the receptionist on Saturday evening for some milk, I was told ‘you are allowed two a day per person’ THIS FROM A SUPPOSIDLY FOUR STAR HOTEL!!!

Review 6：Room was very dark and needs more lighting. No view from the window, just another building.

Review 7：This is a comfortable hotel close to the centre of Ostend. There are many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Room was clean and breakfast was OK. I enjoyed having a swim in the morning and there is also a sauna.

Review 8：We were given keys to an already occupied room on arrival. Having got our own room we complained about a dirty duvet cover. Despite promise to change it, it remained there throughout our stay. The swimming pool was small, the area dark - nothing like the advertising photo. There were no tissues available in the bathroom. The car park involved a car lift and was extremely cramped - do not use if you have anything bigger than a Mini!

Review 12：Noisy seagulls waking me up early in the morning. The swimming pool was great but slightly on the cool side. It would be nice if it opened half hour before breakfast.

Review 16：Nothing really serious but choose a room at the back if possible. Bin men came by at 04.00 and street cleaning machine not long after. Twin beds are fixed together which causes awkward embarrassment when our two elderly friends were sharing. The beds should be apart. Strange shower arrangement; head hung low so you have to splash all over, soap down then use the shower head to rinse off. Better if fitted higher in conventional position.

Review 17：Simple check in and very pleasant staff. Very comfy bar. Room pleasant and bright. Tea making available in room. Although I was there with my wife, we still had a "Twin bedded" room. Beds were pushed together. See "Dislike". Swimming pool available if you need one. Good location for town centre and far enough away from beach to not hear the pounding disco that goes on until 02.00 hrs. on the beach at this time of year. The main reason we transferred to this hotel. On site secure underground carpark gives security for your car. We shall definitely return!

They changedus the room but the bed was not what I wanted (2 beds pushed together)and there was wall paper coming off.. So yet again I went to a receptiondesk to hopefully get a room that I have reserved... But they only havereally really small amount of double beds with bath and they were allfull... So for that money we didn't get the room that we payed for.So just really disappointed. The hotel looks really old and notmaintend..

Review 67：brown spots on the bath don't look nice, if you are taller than 1m85 you can't take a shower standing because shower too short, never park you car in the parking place of the hotel unless you have a car like a fiat panda or smaller (better use the public parking space 300 m further)

Review 71：We booked a double bedroom in the Europe hotel for one night on last weekend, the 22nd of March. Things didn't start great, as when we went to check in, the lady in reception took a call as I was checking in and continued to chat with her for about 15 minutes. Then when we went to our room we found that it was a twin, so I went back down to be told that they didn't have any double bedroom and she told me on the booking form it said that if they didn't have a double room then we would have to accept a twin room. I took her on her word until I looked at our bill later on that night to find that it clearly said that I had booked a double (Not happy) and no mention about the twin room. This is a 4 star hotel which makes me wonder how easy it is to get this rating as the rooms are small, the shower hose in the bath is only a hand held. There was a fridge in the room, but this was empty. The air conditioning was noisy and woke me during the night when it came on. Parking was €20.00 per night and there is no cheap available parking near the hotel. There is also no Tea/Coffee facilities or iron in the room.

Review 72：The hotel is well located, with lots of bars and restaurants a short walk away. The sea front and pier is also near-by without any views of these. Ostend is a good location for a holiday from the Uk as its only one hour and 30 minutes from Calais and only an hour from Dunkirk. Brugge is only 20 minutes away.

Breakfast table dirty and had to clear away dirty plates etc from previous guests to make table free for own use. Reserved car parking space but place initially offered was impossible to park in. Review 103：1. The toilettes in the five rooms we saw were very odd located..Almost in the middle in the rooms and with an unlockable tinted glassdoor. I felt very present to all when using it. 2. We had changed our reservation from 2 doublerooms to 2 single rooms and 1 doubleroom and that made them cancel all our bookings by mistake. So the first night was temporary living. 3 Because their mistake we were upgraded to Superior rooms. I could not see why they called it Superior, it was ordinary rooms. I wonder what their ordinary rooms look like

Review 108：The inner swimming pool is a great asset. Staff was friendly. The roomwas nicely big enough to make you feel home, with separate toilet andseating area, table and chairs. Enough wardrobe. Beds were excellent, wereally got rest in the nights, and enjoyed visiting places during thedays. The hotel was very quiet and the internet internet wlan connectionworked very fast and problem free. It is a full non-smoking hotel.
