Review 1：some rooms have older furniture/cabinets. They are updating with newer cabinets now one by one.
Review 2：Pool on premises. Beach/water front property with a few kayaks and a paddle board available for free. spacious rooms (we had two king beds)

Review 5：The description of the room online indicated a suite with a full kitchen and partial views of the pool and ocean. We had no suite, not a full kitchen and no views. Atlantic Bay blamed this on Booking.com. I'm not sure whose fault it is, but I felt deceived. The room and resort were never the less quite nice.
Review 6：They could use another tiki or a couple umbrellas around the pool along with a few more lounge chairs when the resort is full. There are plenty of chairs around the property to sit and enjoy yourself though.
Review 7：It's a hidden gem set back away from the highway. Cottages and a pool with the feel of "old Florida." A laid back resort perfect for relaxing all day and watching the beautiful sunset after kayaking around the bay. Everywhere you look, there's a postcard scene.
Review 8：I would love the check out time to be 11 am instead of 10 am. I know they won't knock on your door to shoo you away but it was on our minds to rush out.

Review 10：Tavernier is a nice spot on the Key lineup and the spot on the bay is really nice, but it is a bit of a schlep to get to anything else off the property. The beds need replacement... not the most comfortable mattress in the world and had a bit of a hot dog effect.

Review 15：Beautiful views of Florida Bay from patio. Water was within 100 feet of our cottage, and snorkeled there. Staff was really helpful in finding us a fun seafood restaurant. Great location, just 65 miles from Key West. Quiet at night.

Review 28：Charming and welcoming best describes Atlantic Bay resort. We stayed in one of the resort’s cottages. This one bedroom cottage has a full kitchen and small living room. The boat dock was just out the door with a great dock. The lobsters were very plentiful in the bay just a little ways out. The grounds have lots of areas for watching the spectacular sunsets on white sandy beaches under the palm trees with peacocks. This resort has all the charm of the keys. Close to dining and shopping. Can’t wait to go back!
Review 29：Bed was a little to firm for my taste. Fridge was rusty and could have used some paint. A/C unit was a little loud.

Review 31：Attitude! We had a confirmed and fully paid for stay in the Tropical Suite (with a water view) but were a actually put into the Orchid Suite (no water view). Staff VERY bad attitude towards this and blamed me for booking the wrong room despite my having in writing that I had the Tropical Suite. Felt unwelcome from the minute we arrived. Orchid Suite was very dated with a rusty fridge. However, it was a pleasant enough room to stay in. Pool was quite a good size and really warm for swimming but the edges were crumbling and could be unsafe for children. The cottages badly need updating as do many of the facilities.
Review 32：The site is beautiful, set on a small bay (not for swimming), with a jetty and great waterfront seating. Wonderful sunsets and an on-site peacock! Grounds are full of tropical plants and colourful flowers.
Review 33：super location, right on the water. beautiful landscaping, well kept. simple, clean, everything close; pool, dock, sandy point. watched the sun go down from the point every night. great food close by ! will go back again and again!!
Review 34：Management was unengaged and not overly helpful. Had called ahead tomake sure rollaway was set up but still had to arrange it ourselves.States room can only accommodate 2 but actually has sofa bed plus spacefor rollaway.

Review 37：the proximity to water was very nice. we were able to sit (despite the chilly weather) outside and watch the sun set. there were grills close by so we were able to grill our dinner. the rooms had a mini kistchen which was ver accommodating. we were also able to open our windows to get fresh air which some places don't have that luxury!

Review 40：We never saw any staff person. We went to the office twice and never saw anyone. The room was ok. If someone wants to cook with the kitchen, they would be dissapointed. There was one pot and the knives were crap. The kitchen was inadequate.

Review 42：The room we had was horrible and that was after we had asked to be movedto a room with a gulf view as had been booked. We had a chalet, number 2which had a lovely view and a terrace, but the rooms were damp, dirtyand it smelt, most of the furniture was stained, there was rust in thebathroom and kitchen, the bedsheets looked unclean and felt damp. Thereceptionist left early before the 5pm office closing hours, there wereno facilities and no-one in site to deal with any queries.
