Review 1：the ladies in the office were great helping us select what we wanted. booking.com had failed to process our reservations, they upgrade us to a suite. had an outdoor hot tub on the deck, ocean view, complete kitchen set up for 4 guests, fireplace, eating area, clean and we were happy. cant wait to go again. this time well straight to the motel and not thru booking.com

Review 4：Way overpriced. Lincoln City is marvelous escape to place. The Seagull and many other older motels here have raised their prices to match the newer, higher end motels that have come into town without making much needed repairs and upgrades.

Review 6：During the night of our stay we tried to use one of the features of the room Namely an electric fireplace. The fireplace seemed to work fine but when my wife tried to use the microwave the electrical service went out. The end result was that the service could not be restored.After having our night spoiled I asked The daytime desk clerk if there was any compensatory policy on the part of management and was given a curt no!!
Review 7：After trying to resolve the situation, The staff on duty told us that they would have to move us to another room. This being when we were getting ready to settle in and relax.The woman on duty really did all she could do to help us and was very appoligetic for the inconvenience.
Review 8：Bed was like a cement slab.. Rock hard. Both could not sleep on it. 3rd floor windows would concern me with pets or children as they open wide and no screen or anything to prevent falling out. Little touch up of wall issues etc be nice but but huge. Mostly just put something on the bed to cushion a little

Review 10：The beds were like sleeping on concrete, it ruined our trip. We asked if there was a softer bed in another room ,but the staff said there were none. We considered buying an air mattress ,however got another room at another hotel instead. We stayed an additional 2 nights at the new hotel. The cable was out, and there was no elevator.

Review 15：We loved the view and the access to the beach. The room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice and helpful. The windows have no screens but they waves on the beach without fear of our children getting to close to the windows.
Review 16：No direct access to beach, had to use public access along with all the other people who didn't have access from their motels. The public beach access was right next to hotel. Lots of unwanted traffic.

Review 27：The room was hot. A fan or ac would have made it tops, but having the door and windows open cooled it quickly. The windows had no screens. We were very leary to have the windows open due to having two small children because the windows are low.
Review 28：Beautiful view, no balcony but you didn't need one with the window size. The room we were in was so much bigger than most places I've stayed in. Kitchen was stocked with dishes as well. Staff was so nice.
Review 29：Room smelling off urine, room not cleaned. A hell of a lot of maintenance required. Beds need replacing. I would never recommend staying here. No air conditioning and no fly screens on windows or doors so unable to leave open.

Review 33：I reserved a room, then upgraded to a different room. I changed my mind & went back to the original room I wanted. I did this all on the same day & received a total of 3 emails with the confirmations. When I arrived, they incorrectly charged me for the upgraded room. I didn't realize it until we got to the room & I looked at the receipt.There was what looked like dried blood on one of the pillowcases, which is totally unacceptable & disgusting! I called the front desk & spoke to Dana & she said and I quote "Well, we didn't know which reservation was correct so we figured it was the upgraded one." I said why didn't you call or email me if there was a question? I booked the room 6 weeks in advance. She didn't have an answer for that. She said there weren't any more of the standard room that I had reserved & because it was after 5pm, the bosses had already left for the day. She said we will have to wait until morning to see "what they can do". I asked what time are they in & she said 8am but she wasn't in until 9:30am. I said can you leave a note so this can be addressed when the bosses arrive? And she said I guess I can but I will have to explain to them what happened. I asked if someone would be calling me in the morning & she said "probably". I thought that was an odd answer. I asked what time should I call if I hadn't heard from them & she said 10am. She was really snotty & rude which I found unacceptable especially since it was their error 100%! So of course I received no call so I called them at 10am & sw with the boss & she gave me the same lame excuse Dana did & said it was changed so many times they were confused. I said it was changed once & changed back to the original reservation.

Review 35：Door was opened as the room was being "aired out" and when we entered it smelled of urine. We didn't complain because we'd already been told there were no more rooms available so we just dealt with it by opening the windows and leaving for awhile.

Review 44：The wife and I love the location, we attended the Lincoln City kite festival and the motel was just a couple hundred yards from the event right on the beach, location was right on the beach front so the wife and I woke up to a beautiful ocean view every morning.

Review 49：The staff were very nice and more than willing to accommodate our early check-in. The room wasn't fancy but it was clean and fit our needs. The price was reasonable and I would have no problem staying there again.
Review 50：What a view! This motel is ocean-front property, so your view is the sand, the rocks, and the waves. It is right next to a paved drive where you can drive onto the beach, so there were lots of cars and people out there too. You don't hear them though because they 75 ft below you and the waves and seagulls cover any noise. There are only stairs if you are on the second or third floor. The bed was hard but the pillow was soft so I did okay. The bathroom was spotless, the rest was clean. Overall, the place is adequate though not modern, with an amazing location. Coffee and cookies available in the morning, breakfast available nearby.
Review 51：Need to be aware this property overlooks an auto accessible beach, meaning the beach is not a quiet place to walk with the kids. It is packed with cars and trucks, bonfires at night. Fairly quiet considering, just not a good place for beachcombing.

Great beach access, walk a couple blocks to the heart of town. Big moon and stars at night. We have stayed here many times and are never disappointed. Older facility but comfy and clean. Courteous staff, good coffee!
