Review 1：The valet that greeted us was very rude. Made us feel like we weren't good enough for his hotel. Never gave our bags to the bellhop. After 30 min wait, we had to call to get our bags.

Review 2：Food was very good. Sunset views were perfect and the beach was ideal, soft sand and well maintained.

Review 21：Everything had an up charge. We got drinks and went to wait for our room to be ready and sat on the beach. A staff member came over and told us we couldn't sit there since we had to pay for the umbrella. Bikes are a fee also.

After 4 days of being told a technician was on site rectifying the hotels problems we felt that we in fact being palmed off and this was in fact a permanent situation. Daughter with deadlines and exams on our return got very upset and no sympathy from the hotel. The business suite with two busy computers was no help.

Review 57：The extra fees seem a bit unnecessary. Not only do you pay the daily resort fee, but you also have to pay to have umbrella on the beach. Granted it was explained that resort fee pays for your daily water and towels, but I feel more could have been covered in that cost.

My only regret was that we weren't there long enough to enjoy everything, so when we decide to come back to Clearwater Beach area, this will be our official spot.

Review 66：For what one pays to stay at the SandPearl, the resort fee seems a bit over the top. Why the need to pay extra for turndown service, extra towels, beach towels, etc. this should automatically be part of the room charge. And why the need to pay for beach chairs, cabanas? It makes sense to tip for the service of providing beach towels and chairs but why a charge over and above the room charge?
