Review 6：The friendliness of all the staff, especially Cam and Thew.. I was sick when we arrived, so was greeted with a big mug of fresh ginger tea...our room large and comfortable the buffet breakfast was outstanding..more ginger tea for me, and we were sent on our way then next day with a take out jar of tea , and get well hugs.

Review 10：The location was very central, the room was well furnished and designed, wifi worked great, the breakfast was excellent and was the only hotel we stayed in that offered mangoes for breakfast! Most of all we appreciated the staff. Best service in all of the nine hotels we've stayed in of our five week stay in Vietnam. From the moment we arrived they knew our names. Superb! Highly recommend this charming little hotel.

Review 11：The ONLY consideration is the distance to the Imperial city if you are going to rely on walking. It's doable, but it is a walk, especially on a hot day. I call this a minor consideration, since you could easy rent a moto or bicycle or jump in a cab. No issue whatsoever if you are going to be on a tour. I would rate this place a 9.9, not a 9.6, but booking doesn't offer that rating.

Review 12：Absolutely wonderful from start to finish and everything in between. Staff couldn't be more helpful (they even stepped in the elevator to push the button for me a couple of times). Breakfast is wonderful (try the soup), and they will help with ALL arrangements: moto rental, train tickets, etc. When all of the helmets they had were too small for me, one of the guys who works there went home and let me use one of his personal ones for the two days I had the scooter. Remarkable. I would stay there again without even looking anywhere else.

Review 22：The staff go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome, everyone was friendly and attentive. Excellent communication. There were lots of little personal touches like a complimentary fruit plate, snacks, and on xmas eve they left us a hand written xmas card and a cupcake. The room was tastefully done and the bed was extremely comfortable, I think the best I had on my four week trip. Excellent value for money and a great place to stay.

Review 24：The hot water wasn't stable, it just kept hot for.a few minutes and turned cold quickly. Most of the staff are very friendly and nice but only two, the lady with glasses and the thin guy, are always with board faces. The front side of the hotel actually downgraded itself.

The hotel arranged our trips on the perfume river and DMZ tour for which the guides were excellent both very informative and with good English. The breakfasts were the best we had in all our hotels in Vietnam. The thing that made our stay so special were the staff who were absolutely lovely, very attentive and always greeted us by name. Would thoroughly recommend!!

Review 61：Location was great, near the river, in the middle of a busy hub with many shops, cafes, restaurants and a brand new, great massage place down the street. The very cooperative and helpful attititude of the staff; they organized bus tickets and a tour for the same day in a very efficient and matter-of fact way, expenses conveniently charged with the overall hotel bill. I arrived on an overnight train at 6am and was acommodated with welcome drinks and an early breakfast in a most helpful manner. I was kindly upgraded to a better class room than booked but opted for my booked room with a large window overlooking the neighbourhood. Overall great value for money!

The room had every feature guests could possibly need during their stay e.g. kettle, extendable washing line in the shower, slippers, a super comfortable bed, etc. The location is convenient for the river, restaurants, massage spas, shops and so forth. Review 70：We stayed here for one night. We arrived in the early morning after a 12 hour bus journey from Ninh Binh. We received a very warm welcome and were invited to have complimentary coffee and snacks from the breakfast buffet which was just what we needed after a long tiring journey. The manager welcomed us to the hotel and told us about local attractions. The staff also arranged our transport to Hoi An and Nha Trang for later in the week and were able to recommend a lovely restaurant for the evening. The room was perfect: modern, clean, spacious with all the facilities needed. After a day out exploring Hue we arrived back to the room to find a large complimentary fruit basket.. Delicious. The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was beautiful - nice touches like orchids on the beds, complimentary fresh fruit basket and the most comfortable bed we have slept in throughout Asia. Also had a balcony overlooking the street. The breakfast was great - a buffet selection of Western and Vietnamese food plus eggs made to order.

We thought stop over at the beach meant some swimming time while it was actually a two min stop over on a high Road overlooking the beach.. We were also meant to see a specific temple but without any notice were taken to a different one which was more conveniently located..overall it worked all perfect, but good to be aware of the above

Review 79：We booked a romantic room and got upgraded to honeymoon suite which had great facilities, including comfy bed and a large Jacuzzi... the location of the hotel is also perfect, staff provided a warm reception and great support in planning activities for the next day. The hotel also organised a car drive from Hue to Hoian. Our driver was James, who speaks good English and provided us with a very comfortable journey. Loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again!

They create a home far away from home. The moment you step into their hotel you feel welcome and feel at home. They provide you with a real nice welcome drink( pashion fruit juice),they provide a computer in every room( only six star hotels do that !) Their breakfast is out of this world, better then in many 5 star hotels I stayed. Thanks to booking com with their review systym in place the hotel industry knows now that they cannot sell rooms anymore if their employees are not doing their utmost best to make you happy. Now the General managers have to move their ass to make sure they get good reviews. Well this hotel for sure knows how to do that. I love booking com and this hotel and yes I give them full ten points for the great service and value for money I received.

What was really outstanding actually, was the very polite hotel staff who remembered our pre-names from the first second and also adressed us by that all the time. The location is perfect for leisure travellers, the beds are huge and comfortable, and the in-room computers are a bonus. All for a very reasonable price.

Review 109：his is a small boutique hotel which we are still currently staying at it may not be one of your flash 5star numbers but I believe that it it can give the big chains a run for their money. It is location is ideal close to plenty of Restuants & within walking distance to many attactions We are staying in the Deluxe room the lay out is great & spacious & clean this also has a balcony. The room has everything that you could wish for a computer in the room for the guest, flat screen tv, dvd player, sound system & aircon that works & works well. More importantly the Staff here are Outstanding the Customer Service is some of the best we have come across totally attentive to all our needs & not invasive wiling to be there to give great advice but not hovering over you every minute. We totally recommend the Orchid Hotel whether it be a short stay or long this is the place you would want to stay at

The room had more than we ever expected and the little extras like daily fruit, juices, tea and coffee all contributed to making this hotel special.
