Review 1：Would have preferred to have the room originally confirmed in the new section instead of switching us to the older section even it was with 2 kings.

Review 2：Ocean view right in front of us. Restaurant was great and well priced.

Review 3：The jet tub was dirty and when we turned on the water small brown particles came out of the water. Also internet was not working, no phone service, and TV was not working properly. The money we paid for the night was not worth it.

Review 4：Cold room, remotes did not work, noise fan in bathroom. Ice maker broken. All of the door locks were rusty and hard to operate. Some of the staff were poorly trained. Over all a very poor value. My wife and I have been coming to Surftides for over 25 years. It was very disappointing. Time to find another get away.

Review 5：The moment I opened the door to the room and saw the big stain on the carpet and smelled the musty odor, I should have gone back to the desk. The room was breezy, due to the absence of effective weatherstripping, which exaggerated the out-of-date heating system. Thinking the fireplace might be a supplemental heat source, disappointment found me once again, as the gas tube had a large hole atop the outflow, resulting in a single, upright flame. The bed was lumpy. A used tube a mentholated inhalant was found behind the nightstand when I went to plug in my tablet. The grate of the heating unit, which had very little actual heated air passing through it, was caked in dust. A mug half-full of what I imagine was hot chocolate was in the microwave, a leftover from the previous guest. Upon hearing of the drafty room, Staff graciously deducted a portion of my bill. I did not wish to cause a scene in the lobby, so I did not go into the detail I have here. I do not plan on using this hotel ever again while visiting the coast.

Review 15：Trying to get room service. We needed milk for my 2 year old grandson and on Monday morning around 9 am I was told to call back in 20 minutes. I called after 30 minutes then was told to hold on for "several moments"so I gave up and hung up...

Review 16：Friendly helpful front staff. I wanted the two rooms we rented to be next door to each other and I wanted to upgrade one of the rooms from 2 queen to a king and the 2 staff at check in were awesome in accommodating my request.

Review 25：Rude check in staff, didn't want to accommodate disability needs. Even when it was placed in notes of reservation and called in directly. When asked to delay check out a few minutes due to disability the clerk became short fused and rather rude.

Review 47：Unfortunately the second night we ended up with a guest beside us that banged so hard on the wall that it shook our bed at 1am and they continued to tell,slam doors and make a lot of noise for about an hour. We put a sign up for maid service after the first night and our bed did not even get straightened up, garbage didn't get removed, only part of the towels got replaced(I had to request some) and only part of the amenities were replaced.

Review 51：The Wi-Fi was frustrating. Just weak signal and frequently bumped off. The shower had very low water pressure and a small shower head may have made it worse. Anyway, it's not much of a shower. The bathroom door doesn't stay open by itself so using it meant having to close the door in order to move around. I guess since prices have gone up, expectations have too. It would be nice if it was a good value for that kind of money. We travel extensively so we don't expect to pay $80 for a room on the beach. Your desk staff was excellent. The woman who checked us in had to follow us to our room because after 10 minutes and a map, we couldn't find it (Rm. 110). Directional signage would have been nice. So would an elevator to that floor. We made two heavy trips and there was no way a luggage cart would have helped because of the stairs. It was nice to be on the ground floor, but in my opinion, those rooms are sub-standard because they are in just a strange location.

Review 53：First off- my husband and I were here for our 13 year anniversary this passed weekend (and we've stayed here before, in 2011 and loved it) Well, the first morning we were there (Saturday) I went to step in the shower and there were multiple hairs all over the shower walls and the ledges. I immediately called the front desk, and all I was told was "oh no, we'll send someone up to clean it" so I waited and waited and finally a very nice guy came up and "cleaned", when he was done, I went in there, and it smelled clean, but the hairs were still there, just smeared lowered in the shower! We were on a time frame, so I didn't have time to call the front desk again, so I ended up grabbing a tissue and wiping it up myself!!!!! Which was so unacceptable! Along with the shower, the glasses in the bathroom were dirty as well, so we felt like the bathroom wasn't even cleaned before we arrived and made us wonder what else was skipped in the cleaning? We just felt dirty. Well when we checked out on Sunday morning, I told the front desk lady my whole situation and experience and all she said was "sorry" and then proceeded to print our receipt for the full price, and didn't even offer of a comp on a nights stay, a discount, not even a free mug!!! I gave them multiple chances to rectify and they never did! Seriously- we will never stay there again, and how we were treated was pretty unacceptable.

We were told if we wanted a non-pet friendly room, we would have to pay more. Just can't stand the thought of sleeping in a bed that dogs have sat on! Pool beautiful, but water too cold. Review 57：Was charged for my pet that is potty trained and only 6 lbs. We never leave her during the day....she goes with us everywhere. Just sleeps by us at night. I like that Lincoln City is pet friendly, but don't like charges ... especially on return customers who never have had animal urinate on floors or problem with their pet.

The sheets in our bed were partially unmade and pushed to the bottom of the bed so it was clear they were not changed from the previous guest.

Review 113：Yeah, you lost our reservation and therefore had to go find a room at a lower class hotel because of your error. The whole reason we came to coast was to have the room we reserved. It really made it a waste of time and money.

I have reservation # and called on Thursday, August 13, 2015, to see if we could have our dog in our room. They told us cause we reserved the jacuzzi , king room with ocean view we could not but if we wanted to switch to a pet room we could..... I am very upset with your Hotel.

Review 115：Worse trip we have ever experienced there. Room was on bottom, and all you heard was water running down from other rooms day and night. Cleaning staff had to be told to empty garbage, etc. The room was not worth the outrageous price we paid for it. Will consider another place on our next trip to Lincoln City.

Review 121：The room was very stuffy. There is no air conditioning. We are not used to the humidity and we had to keep the sliding door open just to be able to tolerate the heat. There was a very nasty smell to the room. Both my son and I are super sensitive to smells. If it wasn't for the heat we would have had to keep open the door just to relieve the room of the smell. It smells like burnt plastic and stinky fee.

Next morning they stillwouldn't vacuum (now in addition to other people's mess we hadour own still sitting on the floor), and our bathtub and toiletweren't cleaned at all. Looks like, they only made the bed andchanged the towels. Next morning, things got a bit better (thebathroom was somewhat cleaned, but the floor was till a mess), butstill not adequate to the price we paid (more than $200 per night fora superior suite).

Review 132：Located right on the beach, the ocean is right there. That's theirmain advantage. Other than that, it's a pretty regular resort motel.

Light bulbs were burnt out, the phone didn't work, the rooms were supposed to be premium suites and were the smallest rooms I had ever received and I travel every other weekend. Couldn't have been more disapointed. Oh and the $80 food service order was made wrong and missing things and the delivery person was really rude.
