Review 1：The hotel was stinky, there was a big gap on the bottom of the door so we had to put pillows to stop the cold air from coming in and the noise from the fwy kept us up at night. the bed was very hard and the sheets were very worn out. They had cheap shampoo and soap too.

Review 3：General manager was very rude. The pictures online of the rooms are much nicer then in person. I was very disappointed I spent $100 on that junk of a place and when I didn't want to stay there once I saw the room the manager refused to cancel my reservation and refund my money. I did not feel safe in that area. I saw a lot of drug addicts in the room next to me.
Review 4：I wish there was a couch or love seat or easy chair. Someplace to sit and relax after a day of play. Breakfast could have been better. A place for my boy(dog) to go do his business would be great. A better shower head.

Review 13：The rooms were dirty. The sheets had holes in them the curtains had burn holes in them. The couch looks like they found it in an alley and it smelled. The room was dark. Just not a good place.

Review 15：It sits right next to the interstate so it was noisy all night long. The air conditioner didn't blow super cold air so it ran all night which did help drown out the hyway noises. The office are was filthy which is where the food was for breakfast - needless to say we didn't eat. We thought we would at least grab a cup of coffee but at 8:30am there wasn't any made. The exterior walkways - both floors - were decorated with flower pots overflowing with cigarette butts which makes the whole place smell like an ashtray. Overall not a great place and should have read a few more reviews to make it past "friends and family" to people who obviously stayed in the same place we did.
Review 16：I'm struggling to come up with something that stood out as "liked". The person at the desk was nice enough. The bedding was clean and the bed in one room was comfortable.

Review 31：family of 6 stuck in a room with 2 double beds. not sure who's fault that was cause i made the reservations with 6 people. my youngest who is 11, 5 feet and 135 lbs. slept with my husband and I while my 15 yr old got a free rollaway which was uncomfortable for his 5'10" 195lb frame. No other rooms available that night. I assumed we were getting a suite with 2 double beds and a fold out couch, but on the hotel's computer they had us down for 4 people and on my confirmation sheet I had 6 people.

Review 43：It was close to the marina. At some time it must have had a spectacular view of the ocean and parts of the marina. Many taller building have filled in the view in the last 30-50 years.
Review 44：The parking sucked hardly any parking, the rooms were to pricey I honestly thought I would of got a bigger room for the price I paid for the night. There was no soap, shampoo, or conditioner in the shower. Some of the pillow cases were old.

It's just an old building that should have been gutted instead of touched up....

Review 52：Don't book this hotel if you want to sleep well. Near the highway is an understatement. Eight lanes of asfalt almost go through the motel (25, 30 meters). Slept with paper towels in my ears and head between the pillows and stil saw every hour of the clock. Cars, cars and cars. All five slept that bad that we left the motel although we booked and paid two nights. Not worth the money especially compared to all other motels we visited in any country.
Review 53：The hotel is right next to the freeway and although we couldn't hear the sea, we heard a sea of cars (which funny enough has a similar sound to the sea). The air conditioner drowns out most of the sound so we slept well.
Review 54：The suite room was pretty spacious compared to others we've stayed in, and it didn't feel like we were falling over each other. The hotel is old and doesn't look like much from the street, but the rooms have been updated and very nice and comfortable.

Review 62：My only solid complaint is that I could not find a way to make the a/c run all night. Usually in hotels, there is a fan mode or continuous on or something. This one cycled on and off, no matter what settings I picked. I really like the loud whir of a/c when I sleep, especially in hotels to block any outside noise.

Review 68：This room should not have been availble for guests to PAY to STAY in. There was black mold around the top of the bath tub. Water leaked from the ceiling of the bathroom. My 2 &1/2 year old grand son fell in it. Cig. burns in covers. I understand the hotel was remodeling rooms....this one really needed it. Can't believe how much we were charged for this room. We had to pay for both nights in advance. I have asthma.Can't breathe when there is more humidity in the room than outside then throw in the mold and it triggered an asthma attack for me. Getting a refund for paying in advance for the second night....well that's a whole nother battle.

Everything was old and run down, although it looked like the walls and some of the decor were updated. For the price I was very disappointed.

Review 78：We booked this "2 Bedroom Suite" for 4 days. We have 4 adults and 1 child when we booked but only had places for 4 people to sleep. We ordered an extra bed that came and was a taco, thank goodness the child was light and small. We got one set of coffee and bathroom supplies per day so we bought our own. The 2nd bedroom was a closet with a bed in it and it was blazing hot since it had no air. Freeway traffic wasn't nearly as bad as the "CHOICE" characters that hang out on the patio. First night we have Tarot Card Reading gypsy trying to get money from us, second night "very sad" a 19 year old kid that had been awake for a week and he was lost trying to get to Palm Springs for Rehab and last but not least, Hi my name is Paul and I do drugs was our final encounter. He proceeded to need a cell phone to call his girlfriend meanwhile he had no shoes, a liquor bottle in a plastic bag, no teeth and decided to tell us all about his meth addiction. My advise to the "MOTEL" would be monitor your homeless guests that are regulars to your patio and turn your camera on. The guests that pay $600 to stay there don't want to deal with this stuff. We won't even go there about the renovation!!!!!! Don't spend your money here!!!!!

Review 80：The entry door did not lock, wouldn't even come close. No bathtub to bathe my kids. It was the most expensive place we stayed in on our trip and the shabbiest. As soon as I took of my shoes, I stepped on a Devils Head. The breakfast was super skimpy, we didn't even eat there. If I hadn't paid cash for all 3 nights, I would not have stayed there. I would not recommend it to a family with small children.
