Review 1：View of Ocean from just outside of room, restaurants close enough to walk, pool, Jacuzzi, great service from all of staff, beautiful room with lots of space to spread out
Review 2：We enjoyed the clean, well equipped unit. It's very close to the beach and even though we were in the end unit closest to the train tracks our overnight was not disrupted because of noise. I'm glad the young folks were on the sofa bed. Our bed was very comfortable! Good value.

Review 4：Train noise but that can't be helped and we noticed that if you want to be close to the beach then you will have train noises throughout the day and night.
Review 5：Close to the beach, pier, freeway. This is a condo so the extra comforts are worth the money. Close to a small market, cafe, and walking distance to beach and activities.
Review 6：The sofa bed mattress needed to be replaced, and trains were tough to get used to (not the fault of the resort...just what you get this close to the beach in Oceanside). We downloaded a white noise app on our iPad, and that really helped with the trains!
Review 7：We loved the charm of this resort! It was quiet, quaint, and lovely. The room was just a few steps to the pool, hot tub, and 2 very clean BBQ grills. We loved that! The layout of the room was really open, and the kitchen was clean and fully stocked. Great unit! The surf was great for body boarding and swimming at the beach within a very short walk away. The staff were all warm and friendly. We really enjoyed our time here!

Review 10：I loved how relaxing and comforting it was! Truly a home away from home! The suite was perfect, enough room for the 5 of us (2 Adults, 1 teen - 17, and 2 children - 6&8). Accommodating to everyone. My 6 year old had a blast he told me I couldn't make him leave haha :) he loved the ocean being so close. Sunsets were great. The train did go by a lot but you get used it not a bother at all! Will definitely be coming back!!
Review 11：We booked a king bed, showed up and it was a queen. Advised the staff and her response was "none of those rooms have a king" as if it was my problem. Nothing was done, she couldn't possibly care less. The trip was fun but the bed was easily the worst I've ever slept on and I've soent the last few days trying to get over the soreness in my back and shoulders as a result of it.

Review 13：had to lean over balcony for ocean view. water from refrigerator pooled in dining room floor had to throw towels on floor to prevent falls. advertised ocean view was a big let down will not stay there again stirs steep and slippery when wet guest fell and injured back on wet steps

Review 19：The rules were a bit strict and gave the feeling of property management rather than resort feel. All if the towel rules were a bit overdone. My kids did not understand the difference between beach versus bath towels. The "B" that was marked on the beach towels was not obvious enough and easily confused. The hot tub could have been a little hotter. I would still return nonetheless.
Review 20：I liked that the property was well kept and clean. I also liked that it was quiet. There were many amenities that were easily accessed. The kitchen was well stocked and user friendly. It was close to the beach and walking trails. Because it was secured the facility was clean and free of outside influences.
Review 21：The train is loud especially if you are outside by the pool. Not so bad inside the condo. Wished we could have gotten a two bedroom condo ... they were being remodeled.

Review 25：Our appartment was quite chilly but once the heaters were on it was OK although they were on timers so it cooled down in the night. We arrived at 8pm and the office was closed so I had to call them which with a European phone is rather expensive.
Review 26：We could watch the surf from our balcony then stroll 10 minutes along the beach front to the pier for breakfast, loved it. Appartment was huge and had everything we needed. All the staff were very friendly and chatty and made us feel welcome. The pool area was lovely, we managed a couple of hours there, pool temperature was just right. The passing train which everyone seems to comment on, is loud but you get used to it and I don't think you could escape it anywhere in Oceanside. Would stay here again.

Review 41：Nothing, really. I suppose the only gripe I had was we arrived at about 3.30, and there was literally no one in the lobby. This wasn't a huge surprise since check-in wasn't until 4.30, but you'd figure there should at least be someone working the desk!
Review 42：Wow, everything was fantastic! The room itself was very clean and roomy - it's basically a 1-bedroom apartment, so there was much more room than a typical hotel room. As for the location, it was literally maybe 50 feet from the beach! But it was also far enough to where there wasn't a lot of foot traffic outside our room too. As mentioned in other reviews, the train horn at night was a bit loud, but nothing that was intolerable. For the price we paid, it was a fantastic value, and I'll look into booking here again should I come back to Oceanside for a vacation!

Review 45：The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The condo was clean. Great location one block from the beach and easy to get to amenities. Everything was within walking distance. They also provided additional things like beach chairs, beach toys, books, dvd's, and other fun little things that sometimes you may not have when traveling.
Review 46：There are two little markets but had expired bread. Drove to Ralphs (bigger name brand store) actually wasn't too far. The train station is one block up and about three blocks over from Aquamarine Villas. This was convienent for our day trip we were able to walk there and take the train. The only downfall was the whistle/"choo-choo" from the train each night until about 10:30-11pm. My son didn't have trouble going to sleep (tired from our activities) and I always stay up and unwind late but it was slightly annoying how many times they "choo-choo-ed".
Review 47：The beach and several restaurants in walking distance, as well as the "Coaster" the train that will take you south from Oceanside throughout San Diego (has several stops). I loved the privacy and security, the garage and opener was a great plus. The feel of the place is very homey and everyone was friendly (staff and other travelers), very clean and up keep of entire grounds was phenomenal.
