Review 1：Great location for Everglades and Florida Keys exploration. High quality of service, friendly staff, Clean and really well maintained rooms. Breakfast included. Spacious parking. Nice, clan and quiet swimming pool.

Review 10：Rooms are way back from the highway so minimal traffic noise. As you come off the (Ronald Reagan) toll road it is a block and half to the motel. They give you a little map showing Publix, Walmart, Red Lob etc. so you can stock up before heading off to Marathon Key (90 mins).

Review 15：The room did not look upgraded. Our bed was very squeaky. The headboard on the other bed was barely mounted to the wall and moving, so I was afraid to sleep on it. The breakfast was late, the lady had only started setting it up while it should have already been ready. The breakfast area is very small and quickly becomes very crowded.

Review 24：Dave the manager was upbeat helpful outgoing and went out of his way for us. Wife & I traveled to Inn on motorcycle to see Key West. Cleaning bike at night he came out to give me rags to clean and keep. That's great customer service.

That would have been frustrating enough to deal with but I was then refused a refund by the front desk manager and Booking.com (though their call center agent and her supervisor were very nice). I was forced to drive around at 2AM trying to find a hotel for my kids. Miserable, frustrating experience.

Review 42：The entire facility is old, so the air-conditioning was inefficient and noisy, the hairdryer was dangerously malfunctioning, and the toilet, shower & washbasin fixtures were very water-inefficient (increasingly a major environmental flaw, because Florida does not have enough clean fresh-water to waste even one gallon - much less 20 or 30 gpcd, as these fixtures almost certainly wasted).

Review 43：Convenience of location so near the Everglades N.P. + fact that the huge motel had rooms suitable both for us and for our son's family of 4. We appreciated the convenience of several picnic tables, where all of us could eat supper together. And the kids enjoyed the pool, especially after we had been in the Everglades NP all day in record-breaking December heat. The mattress was comfortable (the best of 3 lodgings we used on this trip). Although the breakfast wasn't great, it was way better than average for some of the motel chains we've used in the last year or two; all motel breakfasts need more heart-healthy, low calorie options, too.

Review 44：- The wifi wasn't working very well. - We stayed three nights total. I planned to pay by cash but they somehow charged the credit card automatically for each night (one by one) even if I had told I wished to pay by cash. The receptionist offered to reimburse it, but I didn't choose it in case something went wrong and I would pay twice. So I would suggest the hotel would check how the guest wants to pay before charging the credit card. - It's disappointing to see that all hotels we visited (including this one) offer only disposable plates and cups. That generates a huge amount of trash every day!

Review 45：The location was good: easy access to Everglades, Biscayne, Key Largo... There is a visitor information point next to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine (typical US hotel breakfast). There is also a pool in the hotel. Friendly staff.

Also the TV signal was of terrible quality and not many channels were available. The breakfast was only good before 7:30. Putting the tables right in front of the buffet with 20 people walking around you all the time made eating a very uncomfortable experience.

There was a local race meeting during our stay and we paid a higher rate for the room for that night. We were told that the high demand enabled the Hotel to charge extra but I think nearly 400% was over the top - all in all the Fairway Inn is a motel and not worth $240 per night.

Breakfast is served self-service in the reception, which is way too small for all the rooms they have: it looks like a race, you've to fight with other guests who seem not to understand that there's food and coffee for everybody. A bit stressful and packed at anytime. I also didn't like that they change bedsheets and towels every day, it's a huge waste, especially when the towels of the second day where dirty (mucus traces on a couple of them). Very noisy air conditioning. I finally didn't like to be charged for my stay on different days, I'd rather prefer to pay all in once as with currency exchange you may be charged commission for every operation made. All in all, same motel as many other American motels, possibly a bit better than average, but definitely overpriced for what it offers.
