Review 4：The Schoolhouse Inn is a great place to stay, very comfortable and clean. With a very friendly staff and good for kids. They serve a mean breakfast! We really enjoyed our stay there.

Review 8：Incomplete description & photos on Booking.com led us to believe this is a luxury resort in Little River. We did not expect old buildings with old furniture & less than adequate facilities. Definitely too much money for such a facility.

Review 10：We loved the setting, surrounded by plants, trees and wildlife and with a beautiful view of the ocean. Liked the simple and tasteful decor.. No fussy frills but a true beach feel and with a lot of soul in the older, main house. Lots of nice touches like the hammock and hot tub. Loved having the fresh coffee in the rooms and the bottle of wine... Thoughtful touches.

Review 18：I loved the food (breakfast was great - a must try include the Big River potato waffles as well as the Racheros). My husband loved it so much he has decided to come back again to Mendocino just for the breakfast and the room. This is a compliment especially since we are a 20h flight to California. We loved the accomodation - the rooms were large, comfortable, clean and new. Most importantly, we loved the decoration of the room which made us feel very cosy and snug. We are expecting a baby next year and do look forward to coming back again, this time with a little one :) Kevin was also great! When he found out we were traveling to St Helena, he gave us a really good recommendation for a restaurant (by far the best food we have tasted so far on our trip - trust us. It beats Other big wigs like Bouchon hands down!) Sandy too was really sweet - she prepared a bottle of sparkling cider (non alcoholic) in our room when she found out we were on our baby moon!
Review 19：Ocean view was across a road and the view was interrupted by cables! Sauna was out of order and in general hot tub area needs some work to make it more appealing like the rest of the gardens.
