Review 1：Beds need new updated sheets, they were older and a bit rough. Hopefully this is addressed by my next stay. As i intend to stay again.
Review 2：Location is great and quiet. Both the bathroom and sleeping area was clean and spacious. Staff was helpful courteous and attentive. Tv, wifi and comfort controls all work fine.
Review 3：only "bad" thing was the lack of an ice maker in the freezer, but there were two filled and frozen ice trays.

Review 9：The rooms and the hospitality of the staff were excellent. It's a small place, with a very welcoming vibe and it's proximity to the C&D Canal-Chesapeake City nightlife/dinner make it a place that we will definitely stay at again. We went there while on a tour with our Model T Ford and felt very safe leaving the antique car parked outside of our room overnight.

Review 11：Clean - the inn staff and owner was so nice and very attentive, we felt so welcome... almost like visiting relatives. The rooms were quite sufficient and it was so nice and comfortable and VERY Clean. They did have light breakfast (muffins, danishes bagels, cereal, juice etc) and coffee set out in the morning which was a great. I would definitely stay there again!

Review 21：Issues with Comcast TV remote. No WiFi signal even though they had WiFi (suspect it was only in the office). Continental breakfast was basic. Biggest problem was that the staff misplaced my Booking.com reservation and room was not available when I arrived shortly after 2pm. I brought the paperwork, there were vacancies, and the staff were helpful after their initial confusion so issue was solved.

Review 25：Things we did not like was the very small out dated shower and the water did not drain out fast so we was standing in the shower. We thought the bed mattress was very hard, but that's probably because we have a 6" pillow top at home so we are not use to that type of mattress. Other then the bathroom & bed issue it was a nice stay!
Review 26：Nice staff greeted us as soon as we arrived! The room was clean & smelled clean. The room looked update except for the bathroom in or room anyways. We arrived around 7:30pm we ready to go eat and Harry the staff member gave us a few great local places to eat. Overall we was satisfied!

Review 28：When we first arrived we could tell it was an old motel redone. But it was extremely clean and had everything one could ask for and more (microwave and fridge). The staff were super nice and breakfast was included. It's a great location for exploring the C&D canal and we spent one day in Chesapeake City and another day we tried "Crabby Dick's" in Delaware City for lunch. Chesapeake city was a favorite. Whenever we travel route 95 we would definitely stay here again!
Review 29：This is a small individually owned inn that is clean and well-run and in the perfect location for us to make a stop midway between the Chesapeake and New England. Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Not expensive either.

It was very comfy and homey, making our stay enjoyable! The price was amazing, especially compared to how expensive hotels are nowadays! The location was super close to where we needed to be, but it was in an odd area. Overall, our stay was great and I highly suggest it!

Review 78：We choose this hotel as a last minute still available on the longweekend stay. We planned only to have room to sleep over and to travelaround. The location we choose is in a good proximity to the sites wewanted to see on our trip, so it was the only thing fair in this hotel.When we arrived after 4 pm the room was not ready. There was a mess inthe lobby and at the register, the staff couldn't find our booking -good thing we had print out of the booking on us. The room was cleanwhen we returned after dinner; smelled dump and moldy. In thedescription it said that the bathrooms are furnished with a large glass-enclosed shower - it is simply not true; the bathroom is outdated, theshower is so tiny that it is uncomfortable to take a shower. The roomitself is tiny, too; there is no closet and the table is in the nichethat probably is supposed to be a closet. No dresser as well; therefrigerator with a microwave on the top is placed under the the shelfwith a clothing rack, so you really can't hang any clothes there.The breakfast area was so dirty and untidy that we would not even havecoffee; least consider to eat there. There were dirty linens out on thecoach in the lobby and by the breakfast tables! I don't know whysomeone would give this dump 3 stars (as in the listing), I wouldn'tgive even one.
Review 79：1. Dirty laundry in lobby 2. Confused staff. 3. Very small shower stall. 4. Small bathroom. 5. No one in lobby when checking out. Had to call a phone number. No one on premises. Asked for refund of one night and clerk did not know if we could get one. Only stayed one night instead of two because of conditions. Did not feel comfortable staying there.
