Review 1：The hotel had a gorgeous view, the staff was amazing. Linda at the front desk even offered to switch our room at no extra cost to a room with a small balcony overlooking the bay.

Review 3：Staff (Linda) is very, very nice and accomodating. She made sure that breakfast is being taken care of. She keeps the breakfast area very clean, orderly and organized. We spend new years eve here every year, its been a tradition for us. Beautiful view of the bay.

Review 11：The hotel was undergoing a major remodel and quite honestly should have been closed. They advertise an indoor hot tub and ice machines, but both are closed for their remodel. The second day there was a crew pouring concrete and it was seriously loud. We had to walk through the construction zone to get to our room with our small child. The sink in our room wouldn't turn off and their were spiders in the bath tub.

Review 13：We had a double queen room, and tried the one bed the first night: it was like a rock on jelly. Neither of us slept very well, so we tried the other bed: same thing--not very restful!

Review 17：The view and the size of the room were great. The manager was very accommodating when we wanted to stay another night. This motel was $50 less than the motel we usually stay at. I wouldn't grumble about the continental breakfast because of the money we saved.
Review 18：Cleanliness of the bathroom was not very good. There was hair in the bathtub. When making the reservation, website said check out time was 12:00 Noon but it was actually 11:00 AM. However, person at front desk was somewhat lenient. The only ice machine there was out of order.

Review 25：The location was exactly as expected and we experienced the actions of the wildlife in the bay as well as enjoying the ocean. Sunrises over the bay and sunsets in the ocean were a photography wonder. I got some great pictures.

Review 31：The room was not cleaned. The bed was made and towels replaced. There was a cockroach on one of the used towels on the floor. Didn't provide extra toilet paper. The manager was alternately passive-aggressive and just smiled when I told her the room hadn't been cleaned. When she followed me into the room to show her, she wanted me to clean the stopped up drain in the tub before she would touch it. The wifi didn't work and all she said was, 'I'm the only one here, what do you expect me to do about it?" This old woman needs to be replaced with someone who can deal with the stress of the job. She is abominable and refused to take any responsibility for what happened during my stay.
Review 32：Front desk lady was a little perturbed we arrived after 11 pm. Room was a little expensive for being on Siletz Bay, not on ocean (obviously, but a little disappointing). No hot chocolate offered in room instead of coffee.

Review 44：The continental breakfast had no fruit options. The beds were really old and tired and it felt like springs were in your back. Not good if you have back issues. No literature about the hotel or the surrounding area was found in the room. No alarm clock. The drain in the tub would not stay open while taking a shower. The room doors were hard to close - you practically had to slam them. The hotel could use a major update. It seems as if they are living off of the idea that their customers get to be pretty much right on the beach, so that makes up for not updating things to make one's stay more enjoyable.
Review 45：I did think the front desk manager was very friendly and welcoming. The view from our room was really nice and it was in a great location - you could walk out on the pier only feet away, or go get something to eat within walking distance: fish and chips, ice cream & coffee.

Review 62：Here are a few things you should be looking for. First we noticed thatthe spa was closed for maintenance and when I asked about the wifipassword I was told that it was down and maybe tomorrow it would befixed. We stayed on the 4th floor and when we opened the door is was soloud and in need of wd-40. Went to open a window the screen that wasthere was the wrong size leaving a good 8 inches at the top open. Wetired the other window and there was no screen. I would stay that isvery dangerous if you are traveling with children they could easily fallout the window. The bed was okay. The water pressure in the shower wasawful! We went to the area to eat breakfast around 9:40 as it is opentil 10 am and things were already being put away. Yes they had wafflesand juice and bagels however there was no fruit and nothing healthy toeat. We went to check out and the first thing I noticed was a manmopping the floors in the lobby. There were no sign out to tell you thefloor was wet and why in the world would you have someone mop the floorsduring the busiest time for a hotel. We wanted to leave a comment cardhowever the room had none and since no one was at the front desk, theyhad put a phone on the counter and said to dial 0 if you needed someone.I did that and still no one answered or came to the front desk. Theyhave forgotten all about customer service.!!!!

We love that is off any main drag of coast ( being basically between two towns) that it is away from the wind of the ocean front, but we still are right on the water. Review 69：Before you read this, know that we enjoyed our stay, but thought you'd like to know what you are in for so you can plan ahead. Comfortable room, but in a bit of disrepair - hair dryer broken off wall, lamp shade with unattached trim. Breakfast was carbs only (waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal) without any protein or fruit (did have orange juice) and no uncaffeinated hot beverages (no hot chocolate or herbal teas). Nothing was plugged in when we arrived - fridge or other appliances. The staff was nice enough and accomodating, but didn't find them tactful. Clerk on smart phone sitting on lobby sofa. Prices way to high for these accomdations, in my mind, but I assume we are paying for the view - and it is beautiful outside. It's much cheaper to book online.

Review 73：The free breakfast was very small and limited and had nothing but fatty carbs to eat. It consisted of Belgian waffles, cold cereal, packaged muffins and plain bagels. No protein or fruit what so ever. To drink they had small cartons of 2% milk, coffee and orange juice I believe.
Review 74：The price I paid was comparable to Motel 6 and other budget motels, but that's all. Siletz Bay Lodge is much nicer, more comfortable and I felt safe. I like the location on the south edge of town away from the casino and shopping, since I was on a leisurely trip for peace and to enjoy nature. The beach that it's on can get very crowded just like the many others, however, if you want a beach to sunbathe, play Frisbee, fly a kite or play volleyball, this is NOT the beach for you! If you walk to the corner of the beach where the bay meets the ocean and walk to your right, then you'll find more appropriate beach space.
Review 75：Less than half a roll of toilet paper with no extra left in the room, visible dust on TV, 2 remotes for TV as if there was a DVD player but was not one, no cable movie channels, shower water pressure was horrible, very few towels left in room, and the bathtub was full of water to my mid calf before I was done in the shower, and the breakfast could have used some fruit as well as the bagel I got was as hard as a rock. Needless to say we will not be back.

Review 106：There was a (pubic) hair on the outer edge of the bathtub and some smudges. There was dust in the higher places of the room. There was a hole in the couch cushion the size of a quarter and the bedspread had a rip in the seam on the edge of the bed several inches long. The bed was uncomfortably firm. There was an extra pillow in the drawer (good) but not an extra blanket. There wasn't any type of notepad, pen or paper amenities. No laundry bag. Also the elevator was all smudged up and looked like coffee dribbled on the elevator floor. We weren't happy with the hot tub hours. We would have loved to have sat in the hot tub for a little bit, but didn't get back till just after 9.
Review 107：I was happy with check in. Our room wasn't ready but the desk gal made suggestions of other rooms that were ready so we were able to check in early. She was very nice and helpful, exactly what I expected from a desk agent. We passed a housekeeper in the hall who actually said hello to us, surprised but pleased me. The window view was beautiful. The room was standard of a king but there were some issues.

Review 133：Warm and Friendly staff it was our anniversary/ birthday staff remember this and recognized it. Great location, view, sea life seals swimming eatting fish. Private beach there was bonfire at night and fireworks. Could see ocean from distance .
Review 134：Breakfast had no protein. Boiled eggs would have been helpful. Staff often vanished so it was hard to get questions answered. Toilet overflowed in the middle of the night, so that was sort of an unpleasant awakening.
