Review 1：I thought I was getting a front view of the ocean, not a side view.There was an unpleasant smell on the elevator and in some areas of theroom. Also, I didn't like the fact that I had to put up $20 cash forthe room keys which were returned when I turned in the keys. Ididn't know that I was required to pay this fee before my arrival.

Review 3：Needs serious updating. Most of the unit contained old/broken furnishings and amenities. I have stayed in The Wildwoods for over 40 years, this was by far one of the least comfortable hotels. There are much better options in the area.

Review 5：Our suite was comfortable. Clean. Right on the beach. Bedroom with a kitchenette and front room with sofabed and tv. Updated bathroom. Need to update outlets to have them by the bed.
Review 6：Outdated - needs some new furniture that is comfortable. The sofa bed was not comfortable to watch the old tube TVs. Tube TVs. Parking is tight. Trying to fit 3 cars in between the pillars does not work!
Review 7：We had they 2 room efficiency. It was roomy. A family would have no problem with the space. The views were nice of the beach and ocean.

Review 9：Great location on the beach. ALL of the employees were friendly, helpful and polite! Bathrooms were nicely remodeled, clean rooms, living room and kitchen! Pool area was kept clean and the baby pool was a huge plus!!
Review 10：Shabby, out-of-date furnishings. No toiletries Musty smell. VHS video player (no DVD). Swimming pool stained brown. Ocean-view faced building next door. Hotel does not enforce occupancy limits or 1-car per room limit (8 people in a single room - Get to their late, you won't have a parking space). No staff on site after hours - nobody to tell loud party at 1 a.m. to knock it off).

Review 16：Only problem was the laundry room - the laundry room was great, however other guests kept throwing dirty sandy towels into the dryers without washing them first. This made the dryers unusable because they were then filled with sand. Not sure what the motel can do about rude, thoughtless people.
Review 17：The place was clean. Great location to the beach and great pool. We asked to swap out blankets (the first ones were made of itchy wool) and needed extra towels and the staff was just great.

Review 20：Good location away from the Wildwood boardwalk. Easy walk to the nice clean & free beach. Pool was good but small, luckily it was not crowded on the Sunday and Monday that we stayed. On site restaurant was small but good for breakfast & lunch, did not try for supper.

Overall update needed in room, old carpet with popcorn ceilings with stains. Pool could also use more maintenance. Air conditioning very loud in room. No smoking in room but allowed on walkways outside of room and balconies.

Review 32：room needed some work paint was peeling pots and pans in the kitchen look dirty the there was no sponges or paper towels or anything of that nature there was no amenities like shampoo or anything else like that. There were a lot of strands of hair found in the bathroom so the cleaning staff needs to be a little more diligent in their work

Review 37：It's family oriented...good with young kids. The beach is right there to walk onto and the beach is also family-oriented....good for kids. Nice pool. Great hometype accommodations....fully furnished kitchen, plus all linens needed. It was very comfortable.
Review 38：Owner was rude. There was black mold on the ceiling near the duct work. When we showed it to the owner his response was, "what do you want me to do about it? Spray bleach?" We requested another room and was switched.

Review 44：The room they first put me in smelled like mold. The pillow cases, sheets, EVERYTHING. Also the tub still had hair from the previous people that stayed there. If they didn't clean the tub what else wasn't cleaned. They moved me to another room the next morning because I couldn't take how disgusting the room was. The second was way better.

I mean really people!? Having to go down to the office for a communal plunger and then bring it back. Please spend the 10 dollars per room and include a plunger
Review 47：The view was really nice and the location was perfect. The staff was really nice and I was happy that they had a hose for washing off the sand at the end of the day. We could literately walk right on to the beach. Pool was also very nice! We will be back again next year!

List of everything in the room including picture on the wall witha warning that if anything is missing they will charge you $100.00 andif you take the list they will charge you $50.00. When we checked out wehad to go to the side counter as the police were there evicting someonewho had too many people in the room. Worst place we ever stayed.

Review 72：Before booking, I had called through an online company to ask for late check in. I was traveling over 7 hrs and knew I would be late (1030- or 11). I was told that would be ok, but to call two days before to remind them. The day I called, I was told if I did not arrive before 9; I would lose my room. The woman I spoke to was very rude. After several uncomfortable minutes, the women settled on 1030. I was so nervous and anxious on trying to get there on time. When I arrived, the woman who checked me in was so nice and attentive.
Review 73：The room was spacious and steps to the beach. Our room maid was so nice. I like the fact that there was a normal size refrigerator and a stove top with pans, utensils, plates, and cups.

Review 79：There really wasn't much I liked at all. For starters it is not a resort- it is a motel and looks every bit a motel. It is extremely dated. The bed sheets and all the furniture remained damp throughout our stay making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep. There weren't two beds as I had been quoted online. Upon arrival, I asked about this and they said the reservation said there were only two guests. I noticed this error even though during the first half of the booking I entered correct info regarding 3 adults and 1 child. I called and spoke with a rep at the motel who informed me this happened often and she would correct once the confirmation was completed. The refrigerator in the room was extremely loud, they didn't provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo or conditioner. You were only provided with fresh towels each day, soap and toilet paper. They had VHS tapes to rent for $3-NO DVD's. The TV's in the room were all ancient and had about 5 channels. It was NOT worth the money AT ALL. Although parking is available, there are not assigned spots- first come first served. Would never return and would never recommend. I was extremely dissatisfied and the pictures that were on this website are also extremely misleading.

Review 81：While the bathroom was updated, nothing else in the room was. Old furniture, old kitchen, uncomfortable bed. The surfaces in the room were clean, but air vents were filthy. Also, could use new flooring. It wasn't the most comfortable place to be, but a stones throw from the beach so we dealt with it.
