Review 1：Everything was great, what you would expect.
Review 2：Staff was great! Welcoming, offered to help get us all set up in the room since I was traveling by myself with two young children. Beautiful pool view, perfect mini vacation getaway location, close to the beach but still a retreat. Nice pool view.

Review 11：The motel rooms for the most part have both pool and ocean views and private terraces!! The pool is amazing and is heated until after Columbus Day! There is an on site resteraunt. Large rooms w/ LARGE TV, small fridge/microwave/Krupp coffee maker! Beds are VERY comfortable!

Review 14：The floors in the room were so dirty my daughter who crawls had black knees and feet. The staff during breakfast was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. The owners should ask at the end of the stay how we thought the stay was to personally hear the feedback...good and bad!

Review 16：Being a bigger-than-average size man, I found the bathroom quite smallfor my liking. Especially the bathtub/shower, I barely had enoughroom to shower in, certainly not comfortably. But, was to be expected.The A/C didn't seem to have enough power to cool the entire room. I'm glad I wasn't there during mid-summer or else it would have been unbearable. The toilet wasn't very powerful. It took more than a couple flushes everytime before "everything" went down the drain.

The pool area is so very clean and the staff/workers are always cleaning the grounds, rooms, etc. 1 block away from the beach and close to the amusement park. It was a great stay for my small family. I wish people would stop saying there are bedbugs here.There are none and they have a certificate over their check in counter indicating they inspect for bugs.

It would have been nice to have a few k-cups or a heads up about getting some for the room. We felt we did pay a lot for what we got but realize you are paying for a premium location, and for us, a last minute reservation. Overall we had an enjoyable time.

Review 42：We were pleasantly surprised my this little resort. Had a lot more to offer than what you see driving by. Room was comfortable. Pool area had more than enough seating. There was a picnic area with several high end grills for your use and even had a little cafe which had a breakfast buffet. The staff could not have been nicer too. It's a great throwback motel to when Wildwood Crest had not become overrun by condos.

Room air conditioner old and very noisy. Temp set at 69 degrees...never felt like room temp got that low. A/C ran continuously until I shut it off at night. Inadequate electrical outlets in room. Power strips used in attempt to compensate. Bath shower valve inconsistent...wide variations in temp while showering. My wife was nearly burned first time she showered. Old double beds need to replaced with queen size beds.

Review 51：The rooms are old and cheap. The décor, rugs, tile in the bathroom, cabinets, A/C wall units, etc. which makes it look dirty and creepy. The hotel rooms need to be updated along with exterior bathrooms.

Review 55：It was apparent that future renovations would improve outdated bathroom fixtures, so these older features were overlooked. One of our rooms did not have a deadbolt that was damaged on the door to the balcony. Even on a 2nd floor,this would have been comforting to have for extra security, even knowing the facility was safe. It would have been nice to know ahead of our stay that Keurig one-cup coffee machines were available in each room.The motel's brochure did not advertise this nice appliance. K-cups were not provided on any day of our stay. We forgot to inquire about whether they were available for purchase or not. Even if 2 cups were provided to the guests on their first stay, it would have been nice to have a coffee in the morning.These comments are being included so that future guests can be aware of these conditions and bring their own K-cups.
Review 56：This family-owned and managed motel offered guests a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Families enjoyed their meals from barbecues, children showed good manners in the pool, and staff kept rooms clean and orderly. My family and friends enjoyed the towel sculptures left on our beds and in the bathrooms. The motel's overall facilities are conducive to guests who have physical handicaps, with even a seat lift in the pool.These comments reflect the sincere care of the owners to please families during their stay. We appreciated having extra time on the premises after check-in to swim in the pool, retain our parking spot, and use clean bathroom and shower facilities before leaving for home.

The toilet was loose from the floor every time you sit down it wobbled . The beds were really small full size and not very comfy could even feel the springs . The man at front desk asked how everything was I couldn't even begin to tell him how I really felt so I said it was ok . We ended up leaving a day early because I knew that I wouldn't get much sleep there anyway. If they would remodel rooms , new beds , comforters, and stop people from drinking alcohol in the pool while swimming with kids I think it would be a great hotel .

Review 90：After coming to this location for 14years. This was the first under the new owners. The vibe is definitely different. The music is way too loud that is played around the pool. The breakfast was not very appetizing. My husband actually got sick after eating. However, the kitchen staff is really nice. My room was never cleaned, the cleaning staff did knock on my door 9am in the morning of checkout to clean. I guess they didn't have the schedule. Sink and toilet continuously clogged, so my husband kept the plunger in our room. Wifi really didn't work, kept getting kicked out and the office/lounge closes at 9pm where the strongest signals are.

Went to stay with my boyfriend and they acted like they graced us because they let us stay when you can rent a hotel room at 25. Dumb rule. Also they put the dirty towels and blankets in piles outside the hotel it looked trashy and smelled like cat piss everywhere

Review 117：The Jolly Roger is so close to the beach, and has easy access to their really nice pool. Also had a close by playground to the right and a stage to the left in front on the beach. They had concerts there at night, exercise classes in the morning. My kids, ages 3-9, all had a great time, lived in the pool. We probably would have had just as much fun if we had never left the property! Was also not right up in the chaos of the boardwalk, but close enough to walk if you wanted to.

Review 124：The picture on the internet showed balconies with what looked like a view of the ocean. the view we had was of the tennis court and the city. There was a Keurig coffee machine in the room, but we had to supply our own coffee or pay $1.00/ cup. The room was definitely the 60's, blue tube, sink and toilet with yellow and black tile. Thesink had a constant hot water steady drip. There was a rain storm and the front window leaked so bad the floor was wet. The office closed 9PM until 9AM.
