Review 1：The shower curtain in the bathroom had mold & mildew on it. No where to hang your bath towel. The bathroom was just not up to par. We felt like we were in some kind of halfway house that's been used and abused...

Review 3：Carpets should be replaced with hardwood. Tub needs to be replaced. Kitchchen should be added. The whole hotel needs to be updated painted and modernized.

Review 6：The property is old and needs a rehab. The mattress on the bed needs to be replaced. There were amenities missing in the bathroom. There appears to be mold on the tube faucets. It was not worth the asking rate.

Review 7：The closeness to the beach! The staff was very friendly. The photo is not a true capture of what the actual motel looks like. Remove it!

Review 8：Outdated, not clean. I know a lot of jersey shore motels aren't worth the money you spend but to pay $189 for an overnight stay is definitely not value. There's a difference between old and not clean and while it was definitely old, it was hard to call it clean.

Review 10：The staff argued loud with each other. They were yelling from one side of the complex to the other. Swearing in front of my family with a young child. Extremely unprofessional staff. Cleanliness does not seem to be a priority for this hotel. You can tell that they do not replace or wash everything when people check out. We stayed for 4 nights & were not asked if we needed any room services until the day before we checked out. We watched them clean the rooms (swear & argue with each other) as we swam in the pool & they only changed the sheets. Did not see them replace one comforter.

Review 20：The Motel stated we would be allowed to check in at 2pm. When we arrived at around 130 the manager stated the room would be ready in half hour which was ok bc we were going to go have lunch and we would be back by then anyway. When we retured one hour later the room was not ready and the manager stated it would be done in half hour (the same excuse) and that there were 17 people that checked out hat day which made no sense to me whatsoever. There was a small sign that clearly stated that if you need a later check out it would be a 25 dollar charge but what happens if your check in time wasn't fulfilled by the motel? There was no compensation for this issue but of course they had no problem taking my money when we arrived. I also have an issue with them charging an extra 147 on my credit card even though I had thought I paid for everything via the website. I will look for that extra charge on my statement this month and will be disputing this if it wasn't put back on my card. I assume it was a hold on my card for the room as this has happened to me in the past in other locations but I didn't like how it was brought up to me. Also the lack of parking was really bad and the mans son was very rude when he blocked me in when all I wanted to do was drive out to dinner. He kept asking me if we were checking out which I told him three different times that we weren't. He then asked me for my parking pass which at that time just exploded in anger. I'll never stay there again. The cleaning people looked real shady and I didn't want any of them in my room so I just asked for towels and toilet paper

Review 22：The picture of the hotel on the website does not in any way, shape orform look like the actual place. It's very small, located behind aconvenience store that also is its office. The pool is extremely small.The rooms are dated. Would only recommend if it's a last resort& you are looking just for a place to sleep at night &that's a stretch. It was absolutely not worth the $200+/night.

Review 34：If there was a color I could use to describe this hotel, for looks and comfort, it would be toap. You see, toap is the color nobody wants but people are forced to settle on because it's the only one left. The facilities were old and broken, there wasn't an item in the place that didn't have boogers and cracks on it, there was a smell that I couldn't place other than to say it smelled like an old cat lady's house.

Review 36：Let them know I wouldn't be arriving till 3am never stated on website that you couldn't check in past certain hours. Called when I arrived would not come check me in had to fins something to do till 6am. Bed was horrible and stated that they had free WiFi on site but they didnt. Wasn't pleased with my stay will never stay again there.

It was easy to find the room because--no lie--it was in the hallway right behind the curb-sized GARBAGE CAN outside our door. I literally gave them back the key and lost $250. It was that bad.

Review 45：I have stayed at palm villa every year for about the last 5 years ormore. I was very disappointed this year. There are new owners. Room wasnot at 2 pm check in so hung around for 30 mins..still not ready sodecides to go to beach only to find out on more free beach passes (firsttime they have ever charged) most places offer free passes. Pool hadpaper floating in it & was so cloudy couldn't see bottom sodidn't use. Came back to room to find only 2 towels when we had 3guests for 2 nights, dirty sheets on pull out bed & hair on pillows.Probably will never stay here again after being a cusomter for years!!!!
