Reviews for Six Senses Con Dao

Review 1：Poor food options at night and MUCH too expensive; butler not well trained in basic service communications skills. A sense of corporate concerns that impinged on a truly relaxing breather (e.g. inflexible check out hours even if your flight is 6 hours later; pushing product in the spa; checkout bill handed to us right in the middle of a romantic dinner the night before departure; over zealous attempts to "connect" with us by our butler (they are all told to go visit their guests at breakfast, which can be disruptive). The hotel staff is lovely, but some need better training. Here you are on a gorgeous island…and yet a corporate training handbook seems to emphasize "one size fits all", stay on our schedule and processes not their preferences. The hotel promises a certain "whatever you want we can do" perfection, but does not deliver it. Dinner options are extremely limited and heavily push higher cost options like barbecues.

Review 3：We travel in Asia and we have experience of 5 stars hotel overwide. 6 sences in Con Dao is too much pricey ( over 700USD/ night ). For this price we waited for something special to compare with 5 stars in Asia as such Bali in Indonesia. It was not the case and so far in term of service , bungalow base on 2 floors and not convinient to reach the bathroom. Housekeeping woke up us at 8h30 am to clean the villa , incredible . Restaurant is very basic and too much expensive to discover Vietnamiese food which is very cheap in Vietnam. A little bit disapointed by this experience as to forget immediatly . I wish a new 4 or 5 stars will open later in this beatifull island to compete with 6 senses

Review 5：food staff atomosphere villa everything is just amazing. before i stayed Hoi an resort which was awesome, but here is totally out of my imagination. i'm thinking to bring my parents here oneday. (kitten is living in the villa which was really cute. hope the kitten stay safely and happily there.)

Review 26：There is only one public swimming pool and a little bite small. No children swimming pool. The water of private swimming pool is a little bite cold for swimming.

Review 30：Extraordinary resort, magical moments, perfect personnel. You'll have a hard time finding a best location (the bay is dedicated to the resort), the villas / private pool are just amazing and maintained daily and the food is simply great. If you have the time / budget, do get to the turtle island for another magical moment (we saw turtles nesting, as well as babies). Recommended wholeheartedly!

Review 33：The sustainable concept is great but the material (wood and bambu) rotswith the amount of rain and high humidity. The construction planning isalso poor (overflooded pavements by rain).

Review 34：Everything is just stunning! It´s a true paradise á la "jurassicpark" off the beaten tourist trail. Perfect mix of relaxation andadventure holiday (trekking/excursions/diving).

Review 35：English is still a bit of a problem for many local staff members. Buggies and bycicles traffic on the back lane is not entirely safe. Ocean is fantastic, but if you like swimming in it, you can not, as there are waves all the time (but you have your private pull and common pool of course).

Review 36：Fantastic beautiful location. Very Isolated (do not go if you like it active, loud and social). Great food. Attention to the detail. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Very international. Modern and very eco at the same time. It is great that they did not build something like regular white houses with red tiled roofs - the villas which look kind of grey and woody at first, in fact do not spoil the view and nature as it is - unique and stunning, - thank you for being careful with what nature has created there!
