Review 1：Floor was filthy, especially in the closet. Hair in sink , bathtub and on toilet seat. Drawers filthy. Closet door was off track and we were not able to use half the closet as a result.

Review 2：Proximity and recomendation of good restaurants. Liked the beach although small. Continental breakfast was decent.

Review 3：We found the stairway leading to our room unlit, unclean, and not very well maintained. The room itself was nothing like we expected from viewing your website. The room was over-sprayed with disinfectant, the bathroom was unclean, and for the price, we never once in our travel experience have ever been more disappointed in our accommodations, not to mention the fact that we were unable to connect to Wi-Fi, and had an useless tv remote control that wouldn't operate even after replacing the batteries. After complaining to the front desk about our accommodations, we were offered another room, only to discover someone else's soiled laundry in the bottom drawer of the dresser, as well as no remote for the television. Needless to say, we were happy to leave, knowing we would never return, and absolutely would never recommend "Bayside Inn Key Largo" to anyone who asked about our visit to Key Largo. I realize you won't be printing this comment, and I for one wouldn't blame you. Dissatisfied guests

Review 5：The Hotel inside is very outdated. The bathroom was very outdated and I felt as if it wasn't very clean. I wouldn't even shower in it. During our stay the power had went out. The mirror doors also came off the tracks. This place could use a good paint job and a little bit of a revamp.

Review 23：The room was so filthy dirty, needs to be painted and maintained. The property needs updating cleaning and painting . They charged my card $50 dollars a day after I checked out for incidentals which they do not offer.

Review 24：The small harbour, jetty, beach and pool in the hotel's grounds was a relaxing location to spend the afternoon or early evening while watching the sun set. Right next door there was an excellent restaurant and bar where you could enjoy sundowners.

Review 25：The rooms are tidy and the beds well made and clean but the floors have a solid layer of filth. Housekeeping is very ill equipped; i saw the housekeeping cart and they have far too few supplies. Also, i left behind my toddler's pillow and his sweet favorite stuffed animal. I realized less than 2 hours later and called. The front desk said they would ask housekeeping and call me. No call. So, several days later I returned and received the worst customer service from the desk. I was struck that housekeeping operates on a finders-keepers ethic. I am lucky that i was able to replace the bear my mom gave my son. She doesn't know and i don't think he realized. I was set back $65 replacing the pillow and stuffed bear. Staff is very apathetic. I only hope the bear was given to a child.

Review 26：The location is great and the grounds are lovely. And right next door is a nice bar restaurant. I loved the quirky sushi restaurant too. Great meal and service.

Review 27：The outside needs to be pressure cleaned and painted. Only 1 ice machine worked. Need new gutters (Boss Gutters), a and the elevator needs to be cleaned. The room, had scratches and chipped paint on the walls, smoke detector not hooked up nor had battery, no fire sprinklers. A/C was very smelly, the fan unnthe bathroom was to d and wasn't able to turn off. Bed was big but very uncomfortable. There was tile throughout and the floors were sandy upon arrival and after the cleaning ladies came. Had ti buy house shoes ti wear insife the room to not get bed dirty. This was supposed to be a nice relaxing anniversary trip.

Review 29：Fleas in the room!!! We were totally bitten both of us, when we woke up after one night. We had booked the room for two nights, but checked out first thing in the morning. AS if that was not enough. The room were described with garden vieuv and wifi. Non of it was true.... The windows were covered by branches and the room totally in darkness, and the wifi was non eksistent except when the front door was left open. To top it all this hotel refused to reimburse us for the second night...

Review 30：Everything, it was just as described and I don't understand people, who wrote different. Rooms are exacetly as on fotos; yes, it could use a little paint or repairing here and there, but I was aware I'm not booking 5 Stars hotel.

Review 35：Where do I begin - the room was very musty, there was paint peeling off the door, the room was not clean, there was no drain in the sink, the beds had plastic mattress covers on that made us wonder what action those beds had seen. The book about the Keys was so moldy that it could not be opened. We left a day early, which I have never done before. Many calls to speak to the manager (after leaving a note of my concerns) have not been returned. Oh, and the Wifi worked only on the outside of rooms. I appreciate Booking.com working with me on this. I definitely think the star rating should be lowered to two, if not one.

Review 44：We were honeymooning and wanted to enjoy the great scenery on our patio, but a group of teenagers were staying two doors down from us partying all night long. They were super loud and obnoxious until past midnight right by our door and by the pool. We woke up early to leave and noticed that group had trash all over. We were not happy we couldn't enjoy this beautiful property.

The "beach area" was all rocks and the volleyball court was hard dirt. Very poorly maintained and the staff was very rude and lacked social skills.

When you show your key at the restaurant conveniently located next to the beach behind the property, they give you a discount. Everything you need is within close walking distance. Walgreens, BurgerKing, Dunkin Donuts etc.

Review 63：We had to upgrade from a squaller with no view to still a dirty apartment but with a sea view (extra $40), squashed mossies on doors, safe was broken, front door had been jimmied, whole place run down

A little simple maintenance (paint touch-up, etc.) would help a lot. ....& the site map on the back of the door is labeled incorrectly .....East and West are reversed! I don't think the sun sets in the East.

Review 84：The communal areas (stairways) were scruffy, with cigarette ends, hair etc around. Staff should check and clean these ares at least daily I don't believe this was so. One of our two bathrooms had no bath plug and the coffee machine in one room had the remains of the coffee from a previous guest - this was offputting. One set of shutters didn't open, which made the room dark. Having red the hotel website after we had booked, I would say that looking at this would lead to disappointment. The owners should be more realistic, give the place a lick of paint, clean the stairwells regularly and it would be fine as basic and functional. Oh, and the gym was billed as state of the art - this wasn't the case at all.

Review 85：Good location and sunset views, nice restaurants in the area where we could watch the sunset. Jetty area very nice. Rooms clean and comfortable - just needed a lick of paint. Good value for money and served its purpose for on night. The breakfast was more than we anticipated.

Poor quality, lacking of refil - rooms are not clean,forniture is old and neglected, bed is uncomfortable. The pool was a warm 3ft urinal. It was small and uncomfortable.The room wreaked of bleach that they obviously forgot to use on themoldy bathtub. My unacceptable experience at this hotel was the onlynegative part of the awesome key west getaway I planned for myboyfriend'so birthday. I'd complain to the owners but the sourfront desk attendant didn't feel it necessary to relay the message.Never again

Luckily we were staying inMiami/South Beach area for our ten day vacation because that iswhere we personally prefer. But, again for a one night stay to visit KeyLargo for the experience it was okay. Unfortunately, our preferencewould be to not visit Key Largo again.

Unfortunalerly, the waiterhad to be on drugs or something because he was purfusivley sweating andit took him 20 minutes to come greet us at our table to take our drinkorders after we advised the manager TWICE;by then we were ready toplace our whole order but he was clueless and confused so he had toquestion the cook on almost everything that we asked. So it tookanother almost ten minutes for him to complete taking our order. He wasalso taking bathroom breaks from what it looked like every 5 minutesbecause he was no where to be found when another drink or even a napkinwas needed. We repeatedly had to ask another waiter for what we needed.I don't know if the restaraunt is even owned by the hotel but as arestaurant owner myself it was very unprofessional and horribleservice. I liked that the pool is opened 24 hours that is probably theonly good thing about the hotel. Do not get me wrong, It was a decenthotel for the price but I personally rather be at a beach instead of atiny bay. The lady at the front desk was awesome and the room was finefor a one night stay.

Review 100：This was our first stop in the Keys after arriving from Fort Lauderdale airport. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We moved a lounge from the pool to the end of the dock as there was nothing to sit on to enjoy the water. Breakfast was sufficient for continental style. Room was clean and comfortable.

Review 101：Whilst the beds and bathroom were clean, we noticed that other parts of the room were neglected and needed cleaning and upgrading - like the door frames and window covers. From the outside it looks a little run down and the onsite restaurant needs a total revamp. The breakfast was extremely disappointing.
