Review 1：I had an issue with one of the tours that I booked through the hotel. A case of cultural misunderstanding, which the hotel dealt with quickly and with tact. Classy.

Review 5：From our room there was a really good panorama of the river and the city. Location was good, we could walk to most areas across the bridge. Shower was good.

Review 6：A poorly lit and somber decor, maybe " imperial and majestic" but without warmth or cosyness.. Very unreliable wifi. High pillows. Extremely disappointing for Western breakfasts, in spite of huge choice in Asian palettes. Not sufficient light to read in bed. No piano bar or any entertainment as advertised.

Review 8：There was an argument between a hotel staff member (male) and young ladies at door to restaurant. (16th Floor) Young ladies were quiet and composed, man was not. Did not worry me much but man needs to learn manners.

Review 12：The hotel is very outdated. Looks like they need to give the look a boost. Reception staff isn't very alert. Nothing special about being in this hotel least of all the Spa where the staff try to push their luxury massage on to guests when a normal massage is what one is looking for. They didn't give my friend any robe , no pre massage rituals like tea or foot wash, infact the masseuse didn't allow her to even shower post the massage which we found totally ridiculous just because we were paying 35$ or so 'Only!' In other hotels in Vietnam we paid a lot less and had a far better/ more pleasant experience.

Review 14：Compared to all the other hotels we booked in Vietnam, (6 in all), the staff were surprisingly unattentive and appeared less than interested in every situation. Efficient but characterless, this is a very average 3-4 star hotel.

Review 21：A good, solid hotel choice. It is comfortable and is sort of a knock-off five star. The neighborhood has some interesting dining casual and inexpensive dining options. Breakfast buffet is over-the-top. Good location, can walk to market for a superb bowl of soup, or take a <$2 taxi to the Citadel.

Review 22：The staff in the upstairs bar we waited 25 min for drinks and they served other Asians just comming in while we still waited I was ready to walk out I looked at the bar and the waitress looked at me said yes yes it's comming quite aggressively and rolled her eyes I was not impressed they were the rudest staff we had encountered in Vietnam hotels and we stayed in many also found the breakfast staff rude and they just liked to stand around in groups talking they didn't seem very happy

Review 27：This is a great hotel, the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating - they allowed us to check in at about 8.00 am, after we arrived on the overnight train from Hanoi. They also allowed to book an extra night at the same rate offered on booking.com. The pool is nice to come back to after a hot day out. There is a great Japanese restaurant right next to the hotel.
