Review 1：A wonderful place! It smelled nice, there were candles everywhere and a fireplace in our room The innkeeper Tina took excellenct care of us. We will definitely come again!

Review 2：Tina was very welcoming and accommodating! She brought breakfast to our rooms every morning and always asked if there was anything she could get for us. It was beautiful property, very quiet and relaxing. Good size rooms with fireplaces and good lighting from windows. It is a very intimate site; I believe there are only 12 rooms. There are 2 hot tubs, 2 decks, and 2 inside lounge areas! My sister has chronic back pain and thus sleeping can be difficult for her. My sister slept so well she was snoring, great beds! Breakfast is delicious!

Review 4：Very cozy atmosphere, feeling at home immediately. Breakfast is simple, healthy and delicious.. Fireplace in the room is amazing. Tina is a fabulous host.

Review 5：Its obvious that the new owners have a lot to do. rooms were worn out, furniture, carpets are old, dont look clean. Cant watch the tv in room from sitting area, only from bed (bad place location of tv). There is no spa there, they hire outside people to come in if there is a request for services. Hot tub was dirty/murky. Parking is tight when rooms were full on weekend.

Review 7：Tina was so nice and welcoming. The view from our room was great, the shower products were wonderful, and the king sized bed was so comfy! We loved the complimentary breakfast in bed! This inn is not only "dog friendly" but pitbull friendly as well! That can be hard to find, many places are still very breed biased.

Review 9：We went up a couple weekends ago for our anniversary and were so glad we found this place! The scenery was breathtaking as fall was setting in, the atmosphere inside the Inn was equally charming and cozy with candles and soft music to greet us. Though the wine bar wasn't yet opened, they provided us with a complimentary wine bottle. The bed was amazing and the breakfast delivered to our room each morning was delicious! Tina was awesome, making sure we enjoyed our weekend and even went the extra mile to find us a nice couple to do our couple's massage last minute. If you're looking for charm, privacy, and comfort, you've found the right place. I have high hopes for this place and will definitely be back!

Review 10：We chose Mendocino Inn & Spa for our romantic weekend. And that was the best choice we could make. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, surrounded by pure nature in the woods. The ambience in the whole complex is very comforting and relaxed. There are just 10 rooms in the hotel - that makes a lovely warm family atmosphere. The room itself (we booked King Suite) was cosy, clean, spacious and very light. Wonderful view thanks to large windows!! Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning - granola bowl, eggs, lemon curd, pastry, juice, fruit ... If you are a vegan & gluten-free (as I am), just let the hotel know in advance and they will prepare special meal for you. The hotel staff was very kind, especially Tina who gave us best restaurant recommendations (Wild Fish restaurant - just 1.5 mile away from the hotel) and a bottle of local wine as a welcome drink. Thank you. And if you are looking for a proper relax after long day - the hotel jacuzzi is the best!!! This place is just heaven on earth.

Review 11：The place has gone through a major overhaul and it really paid off. The Inn is small and cozy with only 10 rooms, sun decks, Jacuzzi, beautiful grounds and the Wine bar. Our room has fully remodeled bathrooms, bedroom area and a sitting area with flat screen tv. High ceiling and windows on 3 sides make the rooms feel even more open and spacious. In the evening, the wine bar was open with tasting from a local vineyard.To top everything off, Breakfast in Bed every morning!

Review 23：About a week before our stay the hotel called and said they were sold out and they didn't know I booked until recently and would I like to stay Saturday instead of Sunday. I told them that was impossible as they sent me a confirmation on April 3. They lied to me and I didn't appreciate it and told them we were staying on Sunday. He finally said ok. It was very unprofessional but the stay turned out to be nice.

Review 25：If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you to stay. Thewalls were thin and the rooms were very close together. They did nothave shades on all of the windows so the light comes shinning throughin the early hours (not good for a light sleeper!). And theirfireplaces needed cleaning. I found their manager(Michael) to be quiterude and condescending. In my opinion, this was definitely not worththe high price tag and there are several other nicer inns andB&B's in the area.

The owner was very snooty as we walked the property and when we sat down for the complimentary breakfast, we were asked to produce our room key - no other guests were asked to do the same.

He was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Nelson sealed the deal with this being a resort to return to. The room we stayed in was very nice, comfortable and romantic.
