Review 1：Convenient location and decent restaurant. We arrived at 7:00 pm and had a nice meal in their more upscale restaurant. The waitress was great-- as was the Hostess. Mom did a little black jack-- the dealers could use some personality.
Review 2：The restaurant staff could have been a bit more friendlier. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were small and too soft. Our breakfast was okay, but I would eat across the street if I were to eat breakfast there again (we at dinner there the night before and it was delicious!)
Review 3：The staff was nice at check-in. Our room was changed from a 2 queen to a king deluxe at no extra charge. She even made sure we had a visual to our motorcycle, which was nice.

Review 16：I felt the bath room could have been a bit cleaner. there was dust on the ceiling tiles, the door handles clearly needed cleaning. Not completely clean around the faucets either. The hair dryer was not working, although they quickly sent maintenance to replace it within five minutes.

The photos had what appeared to be remodeled rooms, new carpet, furniture, etc. but that is not what the guest received. Maybe there are only a few of the nice rooms? It was older, dingy and not updated like in the photos.

Review 20：Twice now, I have booked a deluxe king with microwave and refrigerator and been booked into a regular king room. There seems to be a difference of terminology between the Red Lion and various booking sites. Also, the room keys stop working for no apparent reason. This has happened to us every time with the exception of the last 2 times. However, due to the type of room given, I've had to change rooms the last 2 times.

Review 32：I am a traveling Nurse who was assigned in the small town of Elko. Honestly, if I knew Red Lion was a great hotel to stay at (similar rating to Best Western Elko), I should have stayed there for all the three months that I was on my assignment. First off, the hotel is right off the 303 exit to Elko. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. I got a nonsmoking room. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a gym. There are two places to eat in the hotel and both were surprisingly impressive (Aspens bar and Grille was great!). Great service in both places. Plus, there was a Starbucks at the casino area. The best part was the crew at the casino. I am not a gambler, but I sorta learned some table games and I gotta say, they are probably the best crew of people who made the table games very enjoyable (three card poker). I would recommend the hotel. It's a bit more expensive but worth the extra dollars. Just book it!
Review 33：The staff was mediocre at best. There was a festival that weekend, but hotel staff had absolutely no information about what was happening, when. Thus we left a day early. A loss of our dollars in their community. Service in the coffee shop was also mediocre at best; not much attention paid to customers. Also in room coffee was only decaf--hard for someone who is used to good coffee in the morning.
Review 34：We know Red Lion facilities and they are great places to stay and when we take our dog (not this time) he is always welcome. This one is located closer to the freeway than the town center, but they provided a free shuttle to town. Air conditioning was quiet--always a plus!

Some of the stains were toodisgusting to describe on here, but you get the point... The linens werealso dirty. The room smelled very bad. One thing we were excited aboutwe're the coffee shop restaurant and the steakhouse in thehotel/casino but the food was absolutely horrible. The price for theroom was way too high $129. It was the 2nd most expensive in town, so Ithought I was going to get a nicer place. Since speaking with locals, Iwas informed never to stay there because they have heard similar storiesfrom most people in the past. Also, what topped it off was I went to gasstation across the street. The gas was extremely expensive. It was $4.29a gallon for diesel which I bought... And my I went in to get a pack ofsmokes that are usually under 5 dollars and they charged $7.50 a pack. Isaid "really???". The clerk said and I quote "casinoprices! This gas station is owned by the Red Lion." Dont go there,it sucks. According to the locals there are plenty of nicer and moreaffordable places around town
