Review 2：Not a big deal,but view out of my room sucked,just a roof!! Easy to fix,pulled curtains and didn't look out.I wasn't really happy having to pay to park,but I was aware of it when I booked,so it was what it was.

Review 12：My booking.Com rate was 120 after taxes. When I arrived the hotelstarted tacking on extra fees including 10.00 parking fee for usingtheir parking lot. I have never had another hotel charge me to use theparking lot when I'm staying in that hotel. I ended up paying 40.00more then I expected.

Review 13：Just passing through but we were comfortable during our overnight stay. We didn't arrive till after midnight so the 11 checkout was really appreciated.

The WiFi was difficult to obtain, when I asked the desk if there was anything they could do I was given a tollfree # to call. The lady at the desk in the evenings was not very friendly and made you feel like it was a bother to speak to guests.

Review 18：The breakfast wasn't something to write home about, especially if you are a vegetarian! The Wi-Fi signal was choppy at best in the room. There was work being carried out at the time I was in the hotel, so there were decorators and workmen in the corridor, but that is really not a complaint as it was good to see that the hotel was investing in maintenance.

Review 20：I was deceptively charged an extra $20 for 'additional guests.' When I booked the reservation, it clearly read that the room would accomodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. In actuality 2 people stayed in the room but the hotel charged me an additional $10 each for a fictitious 3rd and 4th person. I contacted the hotel to clarify the charge and was informed by 'Gail' in the sales department that they had annotated that 4 people would be staying so I would be responsible for the additional charge. I explained that that there was absolutely no mention of such charges at check in, in actuality 2 people stayed and that the reservation accomodated up to 4 adults anyway. She was indifferent to this fact and repeatedly said there was nothing she would do and to take it up with booking.com. I did in fact contact booking.com and they were receptive and helpful. However, this billing practice is deceptive and wrong.

Review 24：There was dust everywhere. Dingy is the right word. It was just dingy. Old, tired, used and abused by lots of traffic. There was loud construction occurring during the day. In the hotel. There was little to no sound proofing. Every word spoken in the hallway was audible in the room. The room was fairly clean but worried about bed bugs and roaches because of the dinginess of the hallway, elevator, walls, carpets.....If I had a choice I would have found a different hotel...but traveling alone without a rental car I was somewhat stuck there. The staff was very friendly. I did not find bed bugs or roaches but the fact that I felt the need to search for them says a lot about my feeling of the location. But all is done, I am home but would not go back. This was just two days for business.

Mylene, who works the continental breakfast during the week, is wonderful. She always made sure the breakfast choices were full and tables clean. It's quite a difference when the other gal takes her place on the weekend. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were plentiful. The location is awesome! Great place to stay for the price.

Review 104：The place just smells awful. The elevator, stairwell, hallways and rooms all held the awful stench. I read about the smell in other reviews but there were just as many who didn't mention as did so I thought I would roll the dice on a beachside place at a great value. Well I was wrong. The smell was actually unbearable when I turned the ac off. With the lack of air circulation the smell dominated the room with in seconds. With the ac on and the window open I was able to survive and sleep. I don't have a sensitive noes, but if I did I am sure I would have been asking for a refund that I am sure would not have been given and would have moved on. There is a quaint like motor lodge right across the street that looked nice, ill be trying that place next time I am through town.
