Review 2：The staff was really helpful; they provided me with all the information I was looking for regarding locations of interest. Very clean, and the landscapeing was very well taken care of by the staff. Felt like home I was sad to leave. Plus the beach is right across the street.
Review 3：Wasn't told of the extra bedroom. Could have saved $250 for our one night stay. Wasn't within walking distance of convention center area. Had to drive everywhere.

Review 12：the ants walking all over the kitchen counters, closets and dishes the filthy towels they left every day and the mold filled window in the shower. The only thing that could top that was the mold and dirt on the rugs. I left 3 days early I could not take the filth.

Review 16：Had to pay for coffee. No free coffee at all. Had to pay for ice. Pool closed at 6 pm, which is tough when the kids want to go to the beach first. The staff watched you like a hawk and made us bring remote to tv down before we could check out. Very weird and uncomfortable place. Not a good place to relax and vacation.

Review 23：I was disappointed that after booking through this website the hotel owner called to tell me that the only room they had available was under a stairway & right next to the ice machine. However, she told me that for a little more money they could give me a room by the pool (which is what I thought I was originally paying for). I told her that I would like to cancel and she told me that I could not. Then she told me she would check again to see if I could possibly have a room by the pool at no extra charge. When we got to the hotel there were quite a few rooms still available. I will not stay there again because I felt like I was being conned!!

The room location was sub-par (located on the first floor in a passageway, across from the pool bathrooms and laundry area), and the owner called us after we booked and asked if we still wanted it, which we did. My only comment is that there were other rooms that were unoccupied once we arrived. They could have put us in one of those rooms as a free upgrade (rather than the $55 additional they quoted when we originally booked) when we checked in, knowing they were going to be empty. I travel extensively, and this is a common practice. It would have gone a long way towards us wanting to return to this motel. Just my opinion.
Review 39：The room was extremely clean which is extremely important to us. The motel is one short block from the beach, and the diner across the street was good. The courtyard area is well appointed and maintained, with an area for grilling and plenty of tables. The owners seemed very personable and were attentive.
Review 40：We got the only room that didnt have a view to the pool or to the yard, and the online reservation said that we were facing to the yard. Motel was full and they couldn't relocate us. Make sure you got what you paid for.

Review 46：A great location just a block from the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool closes in the late afternoon so it's pretty quiet. I love that they are completely energy self-sufficient with their solar panels. I would definitely go back!

Review 55：These aren't really complaints but you should know this...I'm more picky with pillows and mattresses. If you like a hard mattress, you will love these beds but they are only full size. I like soft pillows but these were firm. I will bring my own pillow the next time!
Review 56：This is a smaller motel and it was quieter which is what we were looking for in a place to stay. It was very close to the beach without being right on the beach. The pool was nice and very clean. Staff was nice during check in and check out. The cleaning staff were very nice too. Overall, we were very happy with this place and we will definitely come back here the next time we visit the beach.
Review 57：Pictures on website showed an oven, room only had a stovetop. Charged to use a K-Cup coffee maker in the lobby, bed/pillows were very uncomfortable, had to put down a deposit to get keys and TV remote.
