Review 1：Your dinning room should be open later specially at check out time. Hotel had no heat , guest should be mailed credit for any future stay. Hall floor shold be painted and floor should be keep cleaner

Review 2：Café prices were a little steep compared to comparable menu off-site. We were told they are separate from the hotel so no reflection taken on the resort. Heated pool could have been a little warmer.

Review 8：The free wifi was useless, I couldn't keep a connection and when it did it was EXTREMELY slow. The A/C in our room was not great either. It ran constantly and never really got cool most of the time. We were on the top floor but it should not be that hot..The hallways, elevators and especially the bathroom by the pool were stifling hot and the showers were dirty.

Review 9：The room was clean, roomy and nicely furnished. The beds were VERY comfortable. The pool is great and I loved that they provided towels. The location was nice, you are practically on the beach. The view from our room was beautiful! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciated that they allowed us to keep our car parked there for a couple of hours after checkout (which is 11am) so we could enjoy a couple of hours on the beach before heading home. They also let us use the showers next to the pool which made the ride home much more comfortable!

Review 10：The Wi-Fi was not so great. Sometimes I couldn't log on but when Idid it would kick me off then would have to log back in.

Review 12：The only thing that I would do different next time (and I will be going back next year!) is change the location of my room. The only con to the location of our room was that when other people smoked on their balconies the smoke came directly into our room as we were in the corner pocket overlooking the pool. I realize the hotel does not have any control over who smokes on their balcony or not- I just wanted to let others know of this con to the location of our room. The view was great! :)

Review 13：Loved the location and amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. El Coronado was perfect for our needs as a family with a young baby!

Review 14：However I will never stay in room 220 again. This room is over the laundry room. The sound of running water is constant from the washers and the balcony was unusable because of the dryer vent located under it. This room should come with a substantial discount.

Review 21：The parking was nothing less than atrocious. Cars were practically touching one another. I had to let the kids out before I parked in the space terrible terrible parking. The television remote ONLY worked if you pressed the right buttons and it seemed only the maintenance man knew how to fm do that??? The coffee pot advertised required a filter. That was never mentioned anywhere in literature. Why in this 21 st century could this place not provide a newer coffee pot that did not require a filter paper?? Who uses those anymore. Also upon arrival there were no carts available. Even if you could get one the front door entry area is about 3 feet by 3 feet with the elevator door right there so no one could enter or exit or get on or off the elevator which by the way takes over 10 minutes each time you press the button?????

Review 26：. The outside dining area was very nice. As were the amenities I.e pool game room showers in lobby level. We especially enjoyed having a beach front balcony we were told when we registered we wouldnt have that so thats a plus.

Review 27：We kept hearing a sound, not too loud but kind of annoying in the wall. We were next to the elevator, for the money we paid those rooms should be discounted. It didn't ruin the trip, but it isn't fair to pay the same as what others down the hall are paying.

Review 29：The staff was rude. Lady at front desk entered my room unannounced because she did not get an answer when she phoned our room. I was nude! I demanded a refund because this happened early in the night. She actually laughed in my face and refused to give me the information so that I could speak to someone above her. Also the room keys didn't work and we had to get 3 replacements. The lady also thought this was hilarious.

Review 32：We liked the view from our balcony. It was just beautiful. We loved the pool and how every day there was free hot dogs or popcorn or slushies. We especially liked Wild Bill the DJ on Tuesday. He played music for all ages and even had people dancing in the pool. We liked the staff and the food at The Coronado Cafe.

Review 33：I asked for a cup of ice at the pool at snack shack & was told they had no ice yet I could have bought a cup of ice water. The front desk was extremely slow for check in & check out. I left my number to be called when room was ready yet my brother in law was called on his phone, he was out of state.

Review 34：I liked the neighborhood and location. I also liked being close to the beach and having our own private balcony. I liked the little kitchen and the extra bedroom the room provided us as well.

Review 35：.Arrived with a car load of 17-18yr olds as a graduation present. The ocean front upgrade was a well deserved gift from the hotel for my upcoming Teenage Nightmare!

Review 44：The front desk staff are not the most polite. They make little eye contact, and have side conversations while doing your transaction. When they take their breaks outside, some smoke right by the bench by the door and the smoke is offensive walking in and out. They also discuss hotel business in the presence of guests which is unprofessional. The most pleasant and helpful employee was Julissa. They should all learn from her.

Review 45：The room was clean and comfortable. I only stayed 1 night but plan to go again during the summer months.

Review 53：It was October and I was recovering from a bad cold. The room was freezing cold, thermostat was set to 56 when we arrived. My boyfriend went to the front desk and complained about the lack of heat in the room but apparently the hotel did not have heat at that time? The front desk had said they would try to find a small heater for us but the request was not honored and we never received the space heater. I did manage to find a large plush blanket in the closet and used that instead, although still freezing in the room. I did leave the hotel a little more sick than when I first arrived. The toilet paper was half used, and one of the shampoo samples was empty, broken towel rack, these issues were quickly resolved after explaining them to the front desk. Other than that the stay was pleasant.

Review 54：The staff was helpful and pleasantly friendly. The towel rack was broken but after expressing the issue to the front desk, a repairman arrived immediately and fixed the towel rack. A second repairman even checked to see if the towel rack had been repaired. The room was very clean, including the bathroom. The view from the balcony was stunning. It was a great room for a fantastic price.

Review 64：The staff is inefficient and unpleasant. For the second year we have had our family reunion at the El Coronado. Last year we booked directly through the hotel and there were issues with the check in and the staff was unpleasant. This year we booked through booking.com and had a receipt for the group of rooms that were supposed to be oceanview. We got views of the parking lot although the hotel had open oceanview rooms. When Wildwood is half empty why would the hotel not attempt to accommodate us. Additionally, the lack of any semblance of hotel etiquette is glaring. We will go elsewhere next year. Unfortunate as the location is exactly what we look for.... however, the feeling that we get from the reception area.... is negative who needs that.

Review 66：The kitchen walls were dirty and greasy and made it feel second class. There were no coffee filters or coffee for the coffee pot, something we are used to in all hotels and timeshares we stay in. I didn't like the fact that the dishes were probably washed by the last tenants and no telling how sanitary they were.

Review 68：Perhaps there were some touch-ups that could be done in certain areas, but nothing was terribly bad that we could see. We needed a cork screw and had to buy one. I was a little suprised that there wasn't one in the drawers of the efficiency. No biggie, and I can't really think of anything else that I'd improve on!

Review 69：Our room was very nice and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I could not get over the size of our room (two queen beds and an efficiency) and the price was very reasonable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I also loved the restaurant on premises and the pool looked lovely, though we did not use. We very much look forward to coming back again in the near future!

Review 72：The woman who checked us in was not very nice. We came in two cars and there were plenty of parking spaces, yet we had trouble getting her to allow us to park a second car. We also had to pay for the entire stay up front and I checked in first. She begrudgingly let me in the room before he arrived to pay the balance. It was very embarrassing.

The hotel could have provided coffee for the I'm house coffee maker as well as fresh replenishment of cups each day. Housekeeping was hit or miss. I'd rate the place a B or less especially considering the price of the room($300/nite). We did expect more considering the price. I stayed at a Days Inn on sat. Nite at 1/3rd the price and it was far nicer and better equipped than the El Coronado. We were disappointed.

Review 89：The staff was not very competent. The staff seemed annoyed whenever we asked for touristic info or blankets and towels. Not enough blankets in the room. The worst is that once the cleaning staff left our room door opened all day long. That day we had left the room at around 9:00 am to return to the hotel at 8:00 pm. It is a good thing that we put everything in the suitcases and locked them before leaving the room. Our passports and valuables were in the safe. Nothing was stolen.Thank God. We will not return to this hotel.

Shouldn't need a wristband for the pool or towel cards for the price of the hotel. It wasn't a waterpark. I was with my 9 year old twins for beach blast. Hotel should have offered a discount for as many families that stayed there for the event, especially being a far distance from the fields. Parking was too tight.
