Review 1：Nothing especially. Maybe TV position wasn't good. And TV is very small. It was almost impossible to watch the TV from bed. Anyway we didn't use TV a lot.

Review 2：Bed is just amazing, so soft and confortable. Hotel location is perfect. Hotel stuff is very pleasant and nice. WiFi signal was good.

Review 3：In winter time december and january was very cold in the room and in lobby, The staff din not help us with solution to warm up. They refused to give us an electric heater.

Breakfast ok and even the vegan I travelled with was able to find something to eat, always a bonus! Most of major site within walking distance and handy for public transport to and from the airport.

Review 6：I spent an enjoyable break at Hotel Alpha Wien. It was very close to the Rathaus Christmas Market and the centre of Vienna was easy to get to either walking or by the underground train.

Also walking distance to the Hofburg palace & volksgarden. We had our last dinner in Vienna at 'Centimeter' restaurant just behind this hotel, great ambience, very local, delicious and not so expensive.

Review 9：They didn't have a regular sheet to offer to covering. Only a duvet. The tube tv only few channels. If we wanted more we had to pay for it.

Review 26：This is what we look for in a short city break hotel. Centrally located, great reviews, good value for money. The Alpha Wien it has to be said is in an ugly building in a city completely surrounded by beautiful ones, but once inside it is clean, well run, offers a great choice at breakfast, with the added bonus of free hot drinks all day and night and free fruit. It is located in a very interesting back street ( check out the artist at work opposite, and the antique shop on the corner) just 3 or 4 minutes walk. From the Rathaus, U Bahn and trams. We would definitely stay again.

Review 27：The breakfast is boring and not on standard with other similar hotels in Europe. They are outrageous with their phone tariffs. You even have to pay if you switch the tv on. Never again! !!

Great location, easy to walk to most sights, from 5mins to 20mins. Especially great for the Rathaus Christmas markets. Review 43：The best hospitality in a great location.The hotel is only 2 minutes from Rathaus,parliament & metro station but also in an walking distance from the center(a great walk actually full of monuments). The breakfast was great and full of options for every taste and customer service was also excelent and willing to help us at all times. Extra points to customer servise adds the 24hour free coffee or tea and fruits! Rooms were comfortable and big enough for two people with view at a beautyful alley! Finally comparing prices, location and services of other hotels Alpha is the best choice!! We will definately visit Alpha again!

Review 55：What a pleasant surprise! Being so reasonably priced and right in the centre, I was not expecting much. But very good hotel. Welcoming, comfortable foyer and lounge area and bedroom was a reasonable size with everything we needed including excellent air conditioning. Excellent breakfast plus fruit and a variety of complimentary drinks always available. Staff were very helpful. On arrival we wanted to go swimming as it was very hot. The receptionist immediately printed off maps and travel details to guide us. Unfortunately I sprained my ankle quite badly one evening (not at the hotel). The same receptionist provided ice and towels to ease the pain. Such a kind man!

It is located just behind the Rathaus, so just a few minutes walk to the centre and there is also the U-bahn very nearby. Some good restaurants nearby too (hotel itself only offers breakfast).

Review 74：The hopeless bedroom fridges that can barely lower the temperature by a couple of degrees. We were there during the Aug. 2015 heat wave and couldn't lower the temperature of a bottle of water over a four day period. Our friends elsewhere throughout the hotel had the same problem. Hotel needs to replace all of these useless items now. It's inexcusable to advertise them as an asset.

A visit to the French Creperie in the vicinity is also worth a stop. Staffing at the property is excellent ie patient and obliging as they dealt with the many queries put forward. Review 116：I was in a small room (i.e. 113, 111 and 112 likely similar). Room is too small for the price I paid (about 110 Euro). Desk is too small with the fat TV on it (had to remove it). Flat screen TV would be normal in such small room. Free WIFI was too slow for business purposes. During the 1st evening I could not work at all. During daytime it is better. Swisscom should offer better internet (for business they can even offer paid internet, if it is fast enough). This time I was really disappointed in Alpha, where I have stayed already a number pf times before.
