Review 1：Advertised with a balcony...it was very small, One long legged person or maybe two very short ones could have actually sat down!

Review 2：Spacious, bright accommodation. Good location. Good facilities. Little beach was excellent. Marina lovely.

Review 3：The place was tired. A few things broke. The lift and room access felt a bit like a 1980's council flat in England. Location was a bit remote. Not in a town and not on a good beach. Good as a starting point to drive the Keys, but not much going for it if you are looking for more than a day or two stopover.

Review 4：Price and Room size - Great to get a Twin and a Double with lounge area and kitchen for a little over $200. Just over £50pp.

Review 5：Cleanliness, pool not open. One room was decent and we liked that one (we booked 2 rooms) and they upgraded to a room bigger than we needed. But our second room was horrible and they upgraded that to a newly remodeled one.

Review 11：Was told the Pool remodel would be finished by the time we arrived for Christmas vacation, it was far from being finished. Washing machine didn't work, dishwasher had to be manhandled to close and sounded like it was dying. Coffee Pot leaked, sprinkler over stove looked like it was about to fall out, patio was teeny tiny. Furniture looked like it was from the Golden Girls show. Beach was full of sea weed and not cleaned for 3 days. (If your going to be open to guest over Christmas then have the staff to take care of the guest) Overall place just looked tired and paint & caulk is just not enough. Staff tried to accommodate, but several other guest expressed similar issues.

Review 13：The rooms were a bit out-dated but clean. The swimming pool was out of action as it was under repair. We felt that the resort was overpriced in relation to the facilities offered.

Review 15：The Unit that i was assigned was not worth the nightly rate. The Owner of the unit needs to update, clean and fix the Unit. The Rug was disgustingly dirty. The Sliding glass door stuck, not enough bowls & coffee cups, The fan in the living room when turned on wobbled so much that it felt like it was going to fall off. after inspecting the fan there was one of the blades that was completely loose had to tightened. The Sofa Bed was old and needs to be replaced.

Review 17：Very disappointed that pool and hot tub were out of service. Tennis court was nice but we couldn't use it because of wind. Our condo was far from beach, too far to take part in complimentary activities that were offered to make up for no pool. View from our condo was nothing special, could barely see ocean. Wifi was ok at first, then became horrendous--couldn't watch movies or access online resources and entertainment, made it frustrating and slow to try to get information needed to plan our activities. Physically, our condo was in need of repairs: ill-fitting screens and doors allowed wind to come through, whistled and banging at night, disrupted our sleep. On the last day, the door blinds fell off the wall.

Review 18：Convenience of checkin/cafe/bar near beach. Beach was well maintained with chairs, kayaks. Resort's grounds were nice. Condo's bathrooms and kitchen were recently remodeled. Good master bed. Kitchen's dishes/cookware were minimal but adequate. Glad to have clothes washer and dryer.

Review 19：No daily maid service. I think this should be made more clear on booking.com at time of booking. Apparently it would come once a week.but at the price we paid, we expected at least every other day. There were uncleaned dishes in the drawers when we arrived. Unfortunately during our stay, their planned 3 month pool refurbishment project was delayed and in its 4th month. They tried to compensate... but... the pool was missed. (fortunately all this can be easily improved.

Review 20：The apartment was good and well appointed. the location is good, well away from highway and with direct ocean access. It is a quiet location with nice hammock and sea views. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Review 21：The rooms by far do not resemble the website photos. Staff said themselves photos are deceiving. First "suite" was so depressingly old and dark we complained and got an acceptable "suite". Both were very old, apparently suites are all privately owned. Then, despite website suggesting, the pool was closed for renovation. Use of kayaks and wifi was offered to compensate, wifi was very poor, kayaks don't work for a 2-year old. By the way kayak use was limited to a confined 20x40m area. Beach is quite small. Many people complained, it is way too expensive to live up to the expectations. In the end we managed to get the 2nd night cancelled and were happy to leave.

When I called to complain aboutbroken lights, non working tv, missing towels, and dirt on the floorsand in the bathroom, I decided to request (and I received) a differentroom. It did not have as many stains on the walls and furniture, and thelights and tv worked, but it was fairly worn out and was missing towelsand bedding. The pool was under construction even though I had been toldit would be working when we arrived. The Wifi was almost nonexistent. Itruly regret having stayed at Ocean Pointe Suites

Review 29：The "beach" is little more than a boat launch. This resort looks much better in pictures than in person. The outside is weather-beaten and neglected. The inside renovations look like they were a DIY project. My first clue that something was wrong was check-in was located in their "restaurant".

Review 30：When we got to our room we only had a third roll of Toilet paper with no spare. Called down twice to have some sent up, which they said they would. Had to go to the Store and purchase our own. No lights worked in the living room and tv didn't work. They did fix the tv. The A/C unit sounded like a Jet Plane. There was food spots left in frige. When we checked out and I voiced my concerns they just Looked at me like I had 2 Heads. Not even a I'm sorry or anything. You can spend just a little more and get a whole lot more for your Money. Also wasn't told the pool was closed for major repairs.

Review 37：Multiple unpleasant experiences: 1. Bad service. Upon unfolding the sofa bed to put our boy to sleep we discovered that there was no sheets and the blanket was literally stinking. It took approximately an hour and three phone calls to get it over. We note Nathan, the front desk representative, that kept saying that they are "on their way" for an hour. 2. Safety hazards. My husband was injured from a sharp edge that exceeded from the bed (pics. attached), I nearly fell in the bathtub because it was so slippery. 3. Room was dirty. Beside smelly blankets and sheets we were surprised to encounter cockroaches in our bedroom. We are traveling a lot and never experienced such a combination of faults. Together with the high price, we would warn fellow travelers to avoid this hotel!

Review 47：The room had numerous maintenance issues and was dated. When the maintenance issues were brought up there was no attempt to remedy them, change our room or offer any kind of compensation. The pool was closed and the "beach" area wasn't attractive and the other guests there were drunk and noisy.

Being refurbished (looks like it will be great when completed, renovation did not interfere with our experience and was not noisy etc). Great to have washer and dryer.

Review 51：The facility I rented looked like it had vandals that tried to break in. Also, the cleaning people left forks or utentils in the garbage disposal. When I contacted the front desk when I first I arrived they told me they would come by and repair and look at the issues I described. I waited for 2 hours 12pm no one showed. I went by the front desk...nothing ...talked to the service gentleman and nothing. I gave up!! Next day went to the pool and wanted to purchase a drink and the attendant told me she had to go to the restroom 5 minutes after she opened up and did not return for an hour! The service their is the worst I have ever experienced in all the years I traveled!!!

Review 56：I was a little upset that upon arrival the hotel appeared to be scrambling and disabled due to a power outage causing us not to be able to register for our room until well after 10 pm at night. When we got to our room, it was extremely dirty and in shambles. However, Sam was able to put us in another room very quickly and it was much cleaner.

Review 57：The staff, especially Sam and Roberto, were very helpful and cordial. The location was wonderful and centrally located to all of the nearby eateries. The view from our room was beautiful. The room was very comfortable.

I was actually told by the bartender that she had no time to cookfor me because she was the only one working on the time. The cookingfryer was down so half the things on the small menu where not available.Tons of mosquito's so bring bug spray.

It was very uncomfortable as i just got there from a 9 hour drive and i wanted to relax instead i had a guy come in and out of my room. he said he would fix it by the next day at 10 am. it was never fixed nor anyone informed us that it was not going to be fixed. i was using the towels the entire time of my stay to manage the leak. it was gross staying somewhere sharing one towel because the rest is controlling the toilet leak... gross. it made our stay very unpleasant.

Review 67：We would have to pay for wifi, which we feel should be included at no extra charge for a resort of this type. We did not have wifi, and my husband complained the whole time, which diminished our enjoyment of this beautiful resort.

Review 68：My husband and I enjoyed unit 1413 in the Marlin building tremendously. Everything was as expected: the bedroom was comfortable, the bathroom quite roomy, the kitchen spacious and fully equipped, the living room open and breezy. We loved the slant ocean view from the balcony. The private beach and boardwalk added a nice touch to the resort.

Daily fee for wifi (I expect free wifi in 21st century) Cleaning should have been more thorough especially as there is a $100 USD cleaning fee. (the cooker hob smelt when boiling a kettle due to a previous occupants food residue remaining under the electric hob element, there was an empty water bottle on the floor behind the bedside table)

Review 77：all rooms do not look alike, so if you go there go because you liked the pool or the building, not the pictures of the rooms they have on the site. Our apartment had a leaking dishwasher and very very old fridge, and oven. Carpet is disgusting but one of our neighbor had tiles throughout the apart, so I guess you can request to have an apart without carpet. VERY SMALL BEACH.

Hotel were helpful though. Looked after our luggage.

When asked for our money back or a room compareable to what was advertised we were told there was nothing that could be done. We were told the rooms advertised are not promised just an example of what could be. The only thing promised is the type of room. Our room was very outdated. Not worth the money we paid.

Review 129：Wonderful relaxing property. The two-bedroom suite was perfect for our needs -- comfy, just the right size, very clean, nice view from the 3rd floor of the ocean over the mangroves. We found plenty of fun things to do near the facility. We weren't necessarily looking for a sandy beach entry, but if that's your thing, you'll need to drive on down to Bahia Honda (?) or some other location. Stayed in early May because that's when we could get away, weren't able to snorkel because of high winds, but the proximity to John Pennekamp is perfect if you're there at the right time. Drove to Key West instead, a beautiful drive with wonderful ocean views. The property is well-maintained and cared for. I don't know that our suite was "updated" but it was very nice.

Review 141：Our beds were terrible!! Our backs felt beat up by the end of the week. My kids beds were no better, wish we could have had better nights of sleep on our vacation.

Review 142：Liked everything they had to offer. The pool was wonderful.

Review 143：Some of the staff were less than helpful. The beds in our condo were old & uncomfortable. There was no maid service during our 6 day stay. Supply of toilet paper, trash bags, and toiletries were very limited. Had to call for clean towels every other day.

Review 144：The location is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach, pool, and fishing from the docks. Grocery stores and bait shops are near by along with some of the best snorkeling. The condo was nice, a little outdated but comfortable.
