Review 9：If you value your sleep - the log cabins are not a good idea. The cabins are separated by one thin piece of wood. You can hear everything your neighbours are doing. EVERYTHING. We were kept awake/woken up every night we were there.

Check-in was straight forward and we were offered a complimentary upgrade which was welcomed after two weeks of travelling around a Thailand. The rooms are brilliant value for money and offer everything you need for a luxury stay. We ordered room service which was tasty with a good selection on the menu. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to the airport which was a bonus (15mins drive) Overall I would reccomebd staying here if you are looking for somewhere close to the airport.

Review 16：Breakfast was poor (lacking a lot of things except flies...) and had the worst smelling and worst tasting coffe I've ever had. The english skills of the staff was non existing in both the restaurant and the bar. We arrived late and wanted to pick up some fruit before we went to sleep. We talked to three different people that didn't know either of the words "fruit" or "banana". Found a choclate bar in the fridge and then went to bed (still hungry). It was further off the airport then it looked on the map.

Review 25：The airport is really close and you can hear the planes taking off or landing. Also, the walls are really thin, because you can easily hear on the halls the agitation. At the airport the driver was expecting us outside, in the car. We had to ask other hotels' staff where we can find the Best Western shuttle.

Review 26：The room is very clean and it provides many facilities: TV channels in English, coffee and tea, mini bar, safe, bath robes, shower and bath tub, free toiletry articles (including tooth brush and tooth paste, comb, body lotion, razor blade, shower cap, slippers, etc.). The bed is really comfortable, full of pillows. The sheets are very clean. We also tried the pool and the restaurant. Both are very ok. The food is tasty and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is cosmopolite and the decorations are modern, Best Western style, not Thai style.

At the airport the places to sit and eat are minimal and there is the problem of what one can take through Security if you want to eat at the departure lounge. So - I can see why the hotel does the 'take-away' but there is a big downside to it. I would choose a hotel that I knew did the early morning buffet style breakfast.

Review 98：We booked this hotel between our flight from Phuket to Bangkok to Tokyo. We had 6 hours stop in Bangkok. I travelled with a group of professionals Doctors and Lawyers. Between the 4 of us we decided that instead of staying in the airport we could book a room to take a shower. We paid full price and we emailed them in advance letting them know about our intention that we only need the room for 3 hours to take a shower. The hotel information was misleading that it was only 5 minutes from the airport. It took us 20 minutes to get to the hotel to find out they only allow 2 of us in the room and they were asking for extra 1000 bht for the other 2. We explained that we needed the shower only and we were not using the amenities or even the beds and we emailed them in advance that we only need the room for maximum 3 hours. The manager was not even listening and it was such a stress that we finally decided that 2 of us would stay down in the lobby. After one of my friends talked with 3 different managers they finally let us go up stairs and by then we only had 1 hour left so only 2 of us ended up using the shower. such a waste of money & time, rude staff and completely unreasonable. I got to the point of saying I will dispute the charge on my credit card and I do not want the room that costed me 2500bht

The Fine Print

The hotel operates its own Shuttle Bus Services providing pre-scheduled journeys to and from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Pre-reserve shuttle with flight details is required. The shuttle operate from 05:00 to 02:00 between the hotel and the airport every 30 minute. As it runs on a loop, it could mean that guests will have to wait for the Shuttle bus as it completes its circuit.If you plan to use our Hotel shuttle service or is arriving on a domestic flight, kindly advise hotel of your flight arrival and departure details. Airport Representative will be at “EXIT B” Door Bay No.5 level 2, Arrival Level. Please look out for a sign with hotel's name on it (Best Western Premier Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport). You may present the hotel voucher and inform the staff at the airport that you have to meet the hotel's airport representative at Door Number 5 or you may go to the information desk and ask them to announce that you are waiting.
