Review 1：no smoke detector in the room just wires where one should have been,dirty mattress, smelled very musty, the inside of the refrigerator busted up, blinds did not work, holes in the sheets, counter top busted, the "couple" down stairs getting into a yelling match with her purse being flung out the door and the contents spilled out stayed in room 16 up stairs the others may have been more luxurious
Review 2：the best part about this place is leaving it behind so that it becomes a distant memory, the stairs from the first to second floor were very sturdy

Review 6：The tv was unplugged we had to plug it in and we coukdnt program it to get the volume to work no sound. It was not on the beach sidenlike i had thought. The bed was very uncomfortable.
Review 7：People living at the motel . Felt like I was in low income housing unit. People partied all night til 3:30. We couldn't sleep, and cleanliness Was very questionable . Housekeeping was nice when I said couldn't sleep on the bed because it had blood on the quilt, I should have left, but she did change bed.

Review 9：Lots of things in the room were half broken. The tank lid on the toilet was broke and didn't fit, the toilet paper dispenser was hanging out the wall.
Review 10：It was easy to get to everywhere we needed to go. And they allowed us a late check out.
Review 11：Bathroom had no waste basket and no outlet - this is an old building and it is not a retro-charm - it is not updated or maintained. Cracks in windows, scratched up floors - the kitchen tile had holes in it; ancient kitchen counter with stains (which I got out easily with some elbow grease.) The view from the kitchen and bedroom window was an old rusty washer dryer and assorted junk in an unkept yard under some stairs. So depressing. Dust a quarter-inch thick on the bed headboard. Just looks like a cheesy motel from the outside and no better inside. Dated and just not maintained.
Review 12：The location was OK but the beach across the street is rough with no lifeguard. About a 30 minute walk to the nice public beach area in Pompano. It had a kitchen and everything worked. The management is friendly and accommodating - came over and cleaned the pool because the pool guy didn't show up. Cleaning people come to the door and ask to empty garbage and drop off towels and garbage bags.
Review 13：Beach across the street!! Close to restaurants. Staff and manager were very friendly/accomodating. We were a late arrival and I had received a voice message and text regarding our room..very thoughtful. We will definitely stay next year and in a one bedroom..

Review 17：On the outside this looks like a typical motel. However my room was more of a studio apartment. By no means luxurious but self contained and comfortable. Happy with my choice. Desirable location on Pompano Beach. No hassle with parking as is often the case with hotels located on the beach.

Review 19：The location was great. The owners were very helpful when I misplaced my key and couldn't get back into my room. The bed was King size and very comfortable. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Review 21：The location is right across from the beach in the heart of Pompano. The manager,Gabriel and his wife are very nice and responded to all requests. There is a heated pool and plenty of parking. It met our basic needs, but was certainly not luxurious.
Review 22：I stayed here while on a business trip in the area. The room was very clean and cozy. It had a nice kitchen, furniture and a flat screen tv. The internet was very fast. The staff was very welcoming and gave me directions. The location was perfect for a vacation on the beach.

Review 47：Great location, only few steps from the beach and minutes away from restaurants and shopping centers. The room was renovated (full kitchen & flat screen tv), clean, and comfortable. Heated pool, free Wifi and parking were also provided. The staff was very friendly. Will visit again!
